Quick and smooth, informative and great communication from beginning to end. Everything was ready for me as soon as the car came off the ship from Japan! William also kept in touch and reassured me that the car was ready to go in my name.I will definitely be back for my next car and send others their way. I took my vehicle in on a Monday for a 150k mile service, a possible low oil pressure indicator and quote on 2 new adaptive headlights. Michael was my service advisor. At first I was impressed with him as he repeated back all my special instructions like no oil change no tire rotation as it had already been done the week prior. On Tuesday I returned to the lot to get some items from my vehicle, there was no information available on a quote. On Wednesday I had to go add my wife to the loaner car agreement. Michael told me the cost of headlights and I provided my feedback, still no overall price after 3 days. Friday comes and I wake up to a text message from the dealership with a link to an invoice. The invoice was for $2400 plus. No written estimate not even a verbal confirmation of work to be performed. The invoice listed the things I told Michael not to do, a diagnostic test for my oil pressure concern and a diagnostic test drive. The diagnostic test drive did not take place, they lied and said they drove my vehicle ten miles. I have a GPS device on the vehicle, it never left the lot. My vehicle takes a spin on oil filter, they charged me for a canister filter. At this point all trust is gone but I can not lose more money. I call the lot and ask for the General Manager at 9am, again around mid day and at 4ish. All three times I stressed the urgency I speak to the manager because I was losing $200-$300 a day as this is a business vehicle. Finally I get to speak to Jim, the GM. Once I spoke to Jim he immediately addressed my concerns, clarified several miscommunications and definitely made it right by me, the customer. Jim is by far the backbone of this dealership. He got involved and my vehicle was done one working day later. He is the best general manager of a car lot I have ever done business with. The owners better be taking good care of him. As for Michael the service Advisor, he needs better training or maybe this is not the job for him because he cost the dealership over $600 on my repair and other work I was considering having done. His incompetence cost me 5 days of revenue from this vehicle, weekend include. I give 3 stars because of Jim otherwise I’d give Michael zero stars, he actually owes me stars because his handling of my vehicle was that of a scam shop, not a reputable dealership like this. Jim is great, I’ll probably go back and buy a new car from him once my business needs a new one. If Michael is your service advisor, be careful.
This was our 3rd Mazda purchase from Vic Bailey Mazda. We returned because our past experiences were a positive ones. The dealership works hard to find the right vehicle and is willing to negotiate an attractive price. I worked with Steven at Vic Bailey after requesting a online price from their website on a new Mazda cx-5. Steven reached out shortly after my request and got some basic information on the vehicle I wanted and then emailed me the pricing breakdown and out the door price. I was trying to buy a cx-5 carbon edition turbo which are hard to come by currently. Steven at Vic Bailey provided the best price the first time out of all the dealerships I spoke with. I am one who will travel for a good price and I reached out to multiple dealers in NC, SC, TN, GA, and FL. Nobody was close on pricing and some were quite rude or wouldnt even provide me pricing as they wanted me to come in for a test drive. After working with Steven trying to locate this vehicle they actually had one arrive at the dealership. I came in the next day to purchase said vehicle. The process was smooth from start to finish and there was no haggling or pressure. I didnt get phone calls daily asking for their business, but instead Steven was available anytime I had a question with prompt replies. This is one of the best dealership experiences I have had throughout the years in purchasing many vehicles. I would recommend Steven at Vic Bailey to anybody looking for a new Mazda or Subaru as I bet they will offer one of, if not the best price you will find.

I was working with Jeremy and Brandon. This location is the absolute best to experience out of any place I have been to. Jeremy is fantastic with attention to detail. He finds out the needs of what you are looking for and helps find the best solution for you. He does not just try to push something on you you are not needing or wanting. he explains the differences very well between the trim models of vehicle and was able to speak very well between the two types of vehicle we were looking at. they gave me great trade in for my old vehicale and I am super excited to say our new Mazda CX-9 is what we were looking for! thank you for all you both did for my family!

I did a Build your car exercise on the Mazda USA website and was directed to Vic Baily Mazda/Subaru in Spartanburg as the dealer in my area who had my choices in stock. Within less than five minutes after clicking Submit Andrew called me, answered all of my questions and made an appointment to meet the following Friday. When we arrived, we met a very gracious, polite, guy who showed us the car, answered more questions, verified our credit and completed the deal. In about an hour we drove away in our new Miata. No hassles, best price in the SC Upstate and best wishes!This is the ninth car I have purchased since my first car in 1969. It was the easiest, lowest pressure car buying experience of them all. If you need a new Mazda or Subaru, go talk to these guys. Especially Andrew.

Underwhelmed. Apparently, my vehicle was delivered to the service dept at the wrong time. The diagnostics happened in one day. Part needed to be ordered (2-4 days). Got a call that the part came in (3 days) and then my vehicle was delivered back to me promptly in a total of three weeks after it arrived. Seemed a bit long for a $200 repair but that is what happened. I was inundated with communication the first week and then had to beg for information afterwards. I was told that there was service team shortages and that is a totally valid reason - if I had been told that up front and given an expectation. Made at least 8 phone calls trying to find out the status - no response or if a call was returned - no VM. Once I returned to the dealership upon being notified that the vehicle was now ready (again exactly 3 weeks after it arrived), I was greeted, asked for payment and thanked with no mention of apologies for delay etc. It will certainly be a long time and only after serious consideration that I bring another vehicle into this location for any service.
