This coffee shop is located in the fully-restored Montgomery Building, one of the best examples of traditional Chicago-style office buildings left in the country. Besides the cool setting, my flat white, that used local Little River Roasting beans, was superb. Baristas are friendly and professional here too. This is everything you want in a top-tier, pop-in city coffee shop. A great find in downtown Spartanburg.

I visited from out of town and really enjoyed it! I got a breakfast panini on the rosemary bread, which I would highly recommend. The cold brew was tasty and smooth. I picked up a bag of beans as well and have been enjoying them at home. The flavor notes listed seem very subtle to me, but it’s a good bag of beans. The space was very clean. I’d definitely visit again when I’m in the area!

The art deco atmosphere gives you a shot of nostalgia with some fantastic menu options. Love it! When the opportunity came knocking to put a shop in the Montgomery Building we jumped at the opportunity but we knew that we had to give Spartanburg something a little different from the Little River Coffee Bar. We chose the name ‘Pharmacy’ based off of the building’s history and the pharmacy soda counter culture of the time...

Had my latte here at least once a day during the conference! Amazing coffee, lovely space, and kind people :) will definitely revisit if I get lucky enough to come back to Spartanburg. Taking a bag of coffee beans for now ☺️

The atmosphere is great! The Pharmacy is located on the ground floor of the historic Montgomery Building. The Pharmacy is slightly smaller and cozy compared to some other more busy coffee shops in the area. It is typically a little more relaxed as well and not as busy. I enjoy going in and reading or doing work on my computer. I typically order a chai tea latte and have been impressed every time.

Second time visiting today. Good and strong coffee (whew!). They have a variety of types of coffee along with hot tea. They offer a small yet yummy selection of scones and muffins. You can sit inside the Cafe or in the hallway that is setup with several places. Its a little loud in both but not so loud you cant hear who youre talking to. Park in the back or in the parking garage in the back.I will definitely go back.

Beautiful place great tasting coffee and the man here is incredibly nice and hard working. I cant believe he powerhoused as much as he did. He deserves a great tip and your kind hearts. Would definitely come here again very affordable!

One of the best iced coffee I ever had! I just wished they had more syrup flavors to add to the coffee and the employee was pretty rude and acted like he did not want to be there.

Had a pistachio rose latte and a panini. Small shop. Bit of a wait, they may have been short staffed. Worth it.

Not only does this place make a mean latte but the view and atmosphere on the inside is fantastic. Perfect place to study, chill or hang out. Ordered The Beekeeper and it was one of the most beautifully presented lattes I have had. The attention to detail in this place is stellar.

Great paninis and coffee! The barrister was friendly and very cool considering there was quite a line. He was completely calm.

If youre a fan of Spartanburgs Little River Roasting, then youll enjoy their new location. It doesnt have as many options like their Coffee Bar, but what selection they do have is still worth the visit. As for the atmosphere all there is to say is Let there be Light.

Cool vibe. The coffee is good and its negligibly closer to work than LRR. Its bright and a totally different feel from the dim hangout of Little River with all of the natural light coming in from the windows on 3 sides. Its the perfect intro business for the newly renovated Montgomery Building.

The service was pleasant and helpful. All of the coffee and the suggestions were perfect. If you have the time, I recommend a syphon with a light African coffee!

Like its sister store, the Coffee Bar, Pharmacy is a quality coffee shop in a bright new storefront. The drink selection is amazing, and aims for a more curated menu than LR, but what differentiates them from the competition is its staff of friendly, knowledgeable and eager baristas who make everyone’s day!

Visiting Spartanburg for the first time; from WA state where our coffee is pretty darn good. Instantly fell in love with the cool lighting and mixing the old building aesthetics with new modern touches. The coffee has not disappointed; I’ve been twice a day each day on my trip. The Beekeeper is heavenly kinda like dessert served in a coffee cup 👌🏼 Also tried their green tea ice tea infused with rosemary syrup and kombucha was refreshing!!! And the matcha latte with lavender syrup was outstanding. Definitely get their avocado toast it’s on another level with the spice and lime wedge 😋 .......ummmmm can I pack this place up and fly it home with me? Thanks for the experience
