They helped me figure what was best for a new system I was buying. And there service was fast too.

Went in looking for Wii games their selection is very small though I realize it is an older machine. They had some hidden behind the counter and I asked about Mario Kart Wii. They wanted 60$ for a game that is used on a game system that even they are phasing out and will soon discontinue carrying the games. I am not paying new prices for used games.

Prices our so high, but it is nice to still have a game store around, I have a feeling they are on their way out.

I will never ever shop at GameStop again I got madden on the day of the release date dude charged me for a warranty 1st thing I’m 43 years old why I need a warranty I’m no kid it was a big black guy kind of over weight wearing a flash tee shirt please read your receipts I was in a rush did not realize until I got home it’s not about the money it’s because he did it without asking me smh I’m done with them

Unfortunately this review is for GameStop as a whole and not just this one location. I actually went into this location looking for something and they did not have any in stock. However I was able to order it on the GameStop website (how I can there yet the store doesnt have stock I am not sure about) The only down side was I was told the item would be here on the 28th, then told the 29th, and now told maybe the 31st. Now this is partly the fault of FedEx however that is who GameStop has decided to use for deliver. I would advise if the store does not have the item you are looking for check with Amazon, Best Buy, Target, or even Walmart as they all are far more reliable when it comes to have stock or getting things delivered to you. Really not a fan of spending my money and not getting the item I paid for in a timely matter.

Tommy was fantastic. Fixed an issue that another store caused with a game I had bought. Ask for Tommy next time you’re in.

While they Most likely have or can order/track down the games youre looking for they have recently started having a better selection of side items such as action figures and specialty toys at a reasonable retail price. Their trade in value has and continues to be questionable at best but this is widely known already.

This is the best Gamestop around if you want a selection of merchandise and great customer service. Love it.

I like this place because of the unique things they have for gamers. That you can preorder things before they come out. That they are knowledgeable about gaming stuff. Just the last few times they didnt have what I wanted /needed.

I avoid this place like the plague. Every single time I go there are 2 or 3 guys working and only 1 is actually working and the others are standing there behind the register chatting up and not helping. Do yourself a favor and go to best buy instead or anywhere else for that matter

I like the way this Gamestop is setup. Nice and open with merchandise scattered about the room evenly. If you have OCD, dont worry! This one is clean and straight like Lieutenant Surge himself came to the present from 1996 and kicked this place into shape!

Again they keep nothing stocked up like u would think GameStop. They should be called gameless stop.

Did a preorder for nba 2k21 for Xbox so I worked with two different associates and not one person said you would need to purchase the Xbox gen to receive the extras. They were only worried about selling the mamba edition not but disclosing all the accurate information. Really disappointed in your sales strategy

Every thing is sold out. No PS5 anywhere and their ps4 games are mostly sold out for Christmas 🎄.

I went in because they had a sign outside saying they buy phones - so I took my old Samsung in for them to look at and see if they would buy it. Lucas was the associate who helped me and he was great - patient and helpful; definitely recommend this store, lots of fun stuff (got some great Xmas ideas) and a wonderful price for my phone. I look forward to shopping there again!

Nothing bad or good to say about this store or employees. Its a sad reminder of what once was a great and exciting thing going to buy, sell, and trade games and systems etc. With digital downloads and the Internet now its not as exciting to get an item as it once was.

Went the other day to find a ps4 game for my grandson. I looked on the wall for it, even double checked, just in case i missed. Well because ive not seen a game before that was staring right at me, i went to ask the assoc if he had the game, thinking he could pull it up on the computer to see if there were any in stock. Nope. He looks at me and says check the wall. Didnt even try looking it up. So i turned and walked out and went to walmart. Great store clerks you have there gamestop. How about you get one with a little drive next time.

Greeted at the door, received flyer illustrating deals for Black Friday, well organized merchandise considering the specific shopping day, and some really great deals! We specifically were looking for POP Vinyl dolls and the selection was vast.

I always come here for all my game related stuff. I love this store they are always so friendly and very professional. The only thing is that this store its small so theres not to much space for all the merch the could put in store. Besides that always has some great deals!! Im an elite pro member and it has been the best desicion ever!! 2 gamers live on the same roof!! So very convenient!! Very happy!!

My husband and son absolutely love gamestop. They spend like an hour in the store everytime we go. Nice big selection of games, new and preowned. But we dont bring gaming items here when we want to sell them, because they offer you such a low price its almost an insult.

I went in the store on 11/29/2019 just to get two xb one dual charging station for 14.99 while i was looking around saw that the psvr bundle was 249.99 which i dont have that much money at the time but the worker informed me that it could be put on layaway but i have to pay it off by 12/15/2019. no one told me if the price goes up when you pick it up you would have to pay the increase pay which is now 349.99. Who has a extra 100 dollars it should still be the price thats on my recipt. Manager Alex wasnt helpfully at all call no nobody there resolved the issue their is no reason to use layaway at gamestop

Worst Customer service I have ever received. I had called ahead to a Game stop across town, I get there and one employee goes thru And processes the trade in And gives me my money, but Andrew runs out and says that their policy is different and you have to have a charger to trade it in, but If I buy it new it Does NOT include a charger. Andrew was very rude when explaining the policy. I do want to say though that Store leader Chuck was awesome, he apologized for the experience and I was thankful for that. He took time out of his day to call and speak with me, this shouldnt have happened but he did make the situation better. All in all, if it werent for Chuck, I would be taking my business elsewhere.

Smells like smoke in the store. Did not have a good visit. The person I seeked out to help me spoke to me as if I was an idiot. His loss, I went online for a much better deal and that person made money.

Very dissatisfied with lack of attention from staff. Too busy talking with each other to offer any assistance. Had planned to purchase a game console and accessories but since your staff has better things to do took our $800 somewhere else.

Probably my least favorite GameStop location. Most of the workers know little to nothing about anything but the most popular games. The few who do know more about gaming are typically swamped with work so they cant help genuinely curious customers. Theyve gotten better about not pushing insurance on games so much. Some of the workers are really rude. Decent selection of games, and there are usually some good options in the cheap, used game bin.

Great staff. Buy or sale your games. Membership is better than Gamefly online.

I travel a lot and been to many game stops this is by far my favorite game stop! Its big and the workers I came across was wonderful! Everything I needed or was looking for was in stock!

Didnt get a welcoming greeting upon entering the store...but that didnt really matter too me! I came in looking for what i wanted, and they had it!!! That made my night..although it was a pretty intense moment when a customer and employee got into it. It definitely made a scene but not really a disturbance. Other than that i enjoyed browsing the store. Its so much bigger than the one in my town. It was very nice and a clean atmosphere..i will be back here to shop again if im ever in that area!!

This is my second favorite game stop location, my first one used to be called Fun-co-land but turned into game stop them even closed down.Anyway, for this store, they are very helpful, always offering to help me reach time I walk right through the door if they dont have a lot of customers in line, at least they still greet me with kindness.These employees have worked here a long time, at least most of them, and them playing games themselves, sometimes they can help with more than just purchases and more with certain info specifically on games from their own experiences.Ive never had difficulties with this store, except that usually its hard to ever find most used games I want and always have to drive further to a location far away-but that isnt their fault others arent trading in the games I want when I want them. At least the employees tell me which game stop has them.This store is in a very convienent spot as well next to the Supercenter Walmart in Greer.

Was a little disappointed the last time I was in there. I took my son to pick out his birthday present and it was not the best experience. Felt very rushed to make a decision and since they didnt have the best selection it took my son awhile to decide on something. Staff really wasnt very helpful, and we had finally just find something and pay. No thank you, or do you need help finding anything, nothing. Probably wont go back.

Great GameStop location, I have been to quite a few in the Greenville and Spartanburg area. This location seems to be much better than the others. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they actually act like they like theyre job an actually game. They are passionate about the games and the consoles they have to offer. By far the best location Ive visited and I will definitely recommend this location over others. I belive Derrick is the associate who helped me (sorry if my spelling is incorrect). He was very helpful and knew what he was doing. An the Manager of the store was actually out on the floor showing customers new game demos an videos, they were all very nice and helpful. Thats not usually the case when Ive been to other GameStop locations.

Was in one to make a purchase for 15 minutes. Not so bad except 3 employees in the store. One was working with a customer 2 were just standing doing nothing. I left without buying anything. Want be back.

Best place to buy used games for playstation games, xbox games, Nintendo Wii U, and Nintendo Switch games. Also when you beat a game or get tired of playing the games you bought you can trade them in for store credit or for cash...... and honestly it doesnt get any better than that. You can find new games or you can buy used games for a cheaper price than you can buy the new ones for that other customers have traded in or sold back to gamestop. And you can sign up for the gamestop power up card and get games for cheaper and get more money when you trade in or sell your old games plus get a magazine subscription included with your membership for right at 15 dollars a month for the power up membership. But like I said at first its the best place for gamers and the power up membership is well worth the price for the yearly subscription because you will save more than that with the money you save and get back when trading in or selling. Also the staff are very helpful and will help you track down a game at another if they dont have in stock at there location honestly probably the best help you will ever receive in a retail store!

Have sales for used games like buy 2 get one free or sales of that nature, but often the games have to be below a certain price to qualify and they never have games under the set price outside the old sports games which is annoying for someone who sees the sign and finds out there no selection outside of old MLBs, FIFAs, and Maddens.Like every other gamestop, do not exchange games. They offer very little for games and used consoles. DO NOT DO IT

Stood in a 6 person checkout line for 15 minutes, and then the female cashier tried to sneak a game replacement warranty on to my purchase without asking, and tells me thats just how it rings upno wonder GS just posted a 500 mil loss... shady company.

This GameStop had great customer service and a friendly crowd. Their products were in good condition and helped me with any problems I had.

The staff is friendly but the girl who checked me out failed to ask me if I wanted to purchase the warranty for my Spyro game and she charged me for it anyway. I think they make commission off of that so that’s why she did it? I was too tired to go back in and get a refund since it was getting packed inside.

Im from arizona, where every gamestop is a 10 foot by 12 foot room crammed with everything. This one is very spacious, ans easy 15 foot by 30 foot room or bigger. Space to actually move around and shop

We visit gamestop once a week. It is best to go during the week, many people are off on weekends so there is usally a line.We. have the gamestop card to save money, but to save money we had to pay for the card. The things we do right ! Pay to save. I must admit we have saved alot using points on card we purchased. This is a good location, makes my granddaughter happy to shop here. Plenty of parking spaces, and also other stores we visit in walking distance. We dont have to move car several times.
