Its so bad! The service there is bad too! I am simply trying to find good cheap clothes, on average EACH THING IS OVER 10 DOLLARS! Makes me happy why It almost closed down!

Not much selection of the 3 items that I was looking for. Sad, because it used to be a good store to shop.

It is moronic to tell customers to wear masks, when ALL the clerks have masks on down on their chins. When I commented, one moved it up over their mouth but under their nose, and only dirty looks were offered from the two others. It is idiotic and so sad to deal with people who either don’t care or are too unintelligent to understand the common sense issues of personal protection. I used to have a higher opinion of JC Penny folks, but JCP has become just a glorified Walmart clone.

Today the cashier was great! However, the other cashier who has assisted me many times and treated me like dirt was there again. This time, however, I was up for the challenge and she scared me with a few tears. I do hope she feels better. I do. She wont be able to do it again. Believe in that!

The employees here are nice and they have a nice selection of clothing but the prices are always so high unless you happen to have a coupon or there is a special going on.

Cut my brothers hair way to short after seeing the picture. Not satisfied and we are very upset.

Had to walk around to find an employee to call another employee to help me out with sizing up a dress shirt. The second employee was very helpful and polite.

Could be better. They dont have electric carts and neither does the rest of the mall. I have a partially collapsed lung and it makes it hard to breathe Im on oxygen and I cant get around very well but doesnt mean I dont like or need to go shopping especially since things were closed and my kids have no summer clothes because they have grown out of them. Also the store was really hot inside so we ended up leaving before we were done. My mom couldnt take the heat, and she is always cold lol

I absolutely love this store and as a former employee I always come in just to look around and kill time. Yesterday I was in with my son and my boyfriend and we had been in there for quite a while and when time to checkout came, I was disappointed at how I was talked to. I was asked if I had a penny’s card and I had said “Yes but I won’t be using it today.” I was kind, and respectful as I always am knowing what retail is like. And at the men’s counter an old coworker who may not recognize me responded “ I didn’t ask if you were using it today I just asked if you had one.” and had a bad attitude towards us... tall man with dark grayish hair and then when I asked to use a 20% off coupon he rudely said “ No, you can not with out your card.” I just hope whatever animosity he had towards me doesn’t happen again because overall we had a great time looking around and just enjoying our Sunday and I will continue shopping there as any other time I come in all the staff is kind and generous and also VERY helpful.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. I like the junior line for my daughter a lot. In a small town we dont have much for shopping so its a nice to have in town.

Some employees were helpful, others just wandered around..I didnt even realize one was an employee until I had been in and out of the dressing room several times. We had NO interactions. Not even a greeting.

Took advantage of a sale on Nike and Adidas. Nearly 2 hrs and an armload of clothes that didnt fit left in our wake, and we walked out satisfied customers. (Sorry Mens clothes dude, for the Fitting Room mess)

We were trying to find an outfit for my boyfriend for a wedding. I was in a different part of the store shopping and my boyfriend comes up to me really frustrated because the Asian looking guy that my boyfriend had asked him if the store had any darker purple ties then what were on the racks all he said rudely was No, sir, we do not. and then he just walks away, and goes and sits on the counter at the customer service station, by the entrance to the rest of the mall. He didnt go to the back and look or continue in any way to help, he just walks away. So I help my frustrated boyfriend find pants and a shirt that matches and we never found a tie that worked. The entire time that we were struggling to put an outfit together he was just sitting on his butt at the customer service station flirting with the blonde co worker. He even walked by twice and never even acknowledges that we were there or tried to help... I will probably never shop in the mens section again. The only positive thing was my boyfriend looked good in the clothes we did find

Needs more Iowa State clothing. I would have purchased some if there were more than 3 items, vs hundreds of Iowa Hawkeye clothes.
