This is my comfort store. I go here almost weekly to just wander and try new material and it is always a wonderful experience. I am so thankful Spokane has this store, they have everything you need or can direct you to what a good replacement is.

The owner took time to help me truly understand the airbrushes I was checking out. Went over the differences between them and the pros and cons. I was very thankful for the insight and it helped me make up my mind on what I was going to get!

A bit more pricey than ordering online but it’s worth the extra few cents to support such an amazing business and group of extremely knowledgeable employees as well as the convenience of being able to look at something before you buy it. Everyone is exceedingly pleasant and they all know what they are talking about if you ask technical questions, unlike at Hobby Lobby or any of the other mega corporations shilling solely Chinese junk art supplies. Every time I’ve asked, even in passing, about a certain type of art material I find that usually they end up stocking whatever it was I wanted to try, even lead white oil paint.All in all I am beyond grateful to have such a fantastic local business and I can not recommend them highly enough. I love this supply store! There is a pretty wide variety of stuff, and every time I go in I am greeted warmly by the employees. They are knowledgeable about their products and how to use them, and are always willing to help answer a question about them.

This is my local fine art shop and I like that it’s a little ”Mom and Pop” style store. They’re selection isn’t huge like Artists & Craftsman or Blick, but they do a lot with the space they have and offer a great selection of quality brands like Daniel Smith, M. Graham & Co.,Golden,Williamsburg,Liquitex,W&N,Caran D’ache,Cretecolor, Arches, Pentalic, Connoisseur, Fabriano and more.The staff is always friendly and helpful to me (Craig, Ken, Morgan and Charlie) and the prices for paint match or beat online prices. Their wooden easels are fairly priced and if you buy your Arches watercolor paper in 25 sheet bulk at their annual October sale you’re bound to get a great deal ( I got a free Arches 10 pack of 16x20 sheets CP with purchase).They also offer a decent range of classes from well known, published local artists as well as hosting classes for out-of-town published artists like Joe Kronenberg, Lian Quin Zhen, Stan Miller and Wes Hanson.Stop in and check them out sometime, they will definitely have something you like, and if they don’t have it they are usually able to order it for you.

What a great store I have been coming here for many years. They have classes for many different art mediums, paints and brushes are reasonably priced. Its easy to support local businesses when they are so enjoyable.

Well stocked for all sorts of drawing. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable.

They have a little bit of everything here, besides the usual paper and canvas pads, brushes, oils, acrylics, etc. Basic selection of bookbinding, fabric painting/dying/tie-dying, printmaking, clay and sculpture, small metals, silicone/resin casting, and calligraphy tools and materials. Oh, and just about any kind of professional framing you could want.

Had a weird experience. When I walked in (with my family) we didnt receive a welcome nor a hello. As we progress across the store checking out what they had, no one seemed like they had any intention on helping us out but did notice us and watched us though the store. I did notice that when other customers came in they did receive a welcome and a can I help you with anything.. they only time we did get some assistance (we already had been a few minutes in the store) was when another customer walked in and got close to us, that had been asked if they needed any assistance... I really hope it wasnt for the fact that we are latino. Might be jumping to conclusions but this rubbed me the wrong way.

Very courteous and helpful on the phone. I have never been in the store, but I had to call to ask if they carried a certain item that I could not find elsewhere. The man who answered said they did carry the item and even went to look to make sure they had it and how much it was without even asking him. I would definitely visit this store.

Traveled from Idaho to support a local Spokane business because I’m a business owner and know the importance of non corporate business support. Was very disappointed to see no restroom available, which is bad customer service. I drove 45 min and had no where to use the restroom, so in return I spent less time shopping because I had to hold it. I guess I’ll spend my money at Michaels or hobby lobby for now on because at least they have restrooms for their customers.

This store has a good selection of supplies, but more importantly the employees are extremely knowledgable and honest. They dont always have exactly what Im looking for, but the student discount and wealth of knowledge keep me coming back.

If I were rich then Id absolutely love to have most of their products & keep myself busy all the time! I also love how the owners dont have any problems with people with hearing disabilities like me.♥
