Great guy to do bizness with. Upfront and honest.
Great little shop with a decent selection of both US and world coins. Also bonus points for being open for a couple of hours on Sunday. The proprietor is honest and takes care of the folks who come in the front door.
A smaller local shop. Had an pleasant half an hour look. Not an extensive collection but reasonable service. Very convenient location for when Im visiting relatives.
Great coin shop gave me good prices
I had some coins to sell and the owner was just wonderful. We chatted about what the neighborhood looked like many years ago. What I expected to be a stressful experience...turned into a great experience. Reminded me of the way people use to do business, honest, friendly and trustworthy.
Nice owner with great knowledge. Not a lot of inventory however prices are excellent
I love Eastern Washington Coin company. I have been a long time customer and every time I visit I am treated with respect. The employees are friendly and honest. Their prices are fair and reasonable. These are the reasons I choose Eastern Washington Coin Company to buy from and do business.
Went to the store with a bag of coins, the first few he just looks and says, these r common. Doesnt check dates or anything. I have a 25 dollar gold coin mint condition, he says it is worth 20 dollars if he melts it down. On eBay one is being auctioned at 125 and has three interested people. I have the silver bars that go for 18 to 32 dollars he said they were worth 4-5 dollars as he only melts them. This is a silver and gold dealer, not a coin collector who knows how to tell which coins may be more valuable due to defects, how many made etc. and he doesnt care either
Only shop i go to. Except when referral by them to go elsewhere. Great customer service.
Gave me great prices on the coins!
Growing up as a Coin-Geek, Eastern Washington Coin was one of the best shops in Spokane.Russ (who has sadly passed recently) was not only someone who encouraged me in the hobby, he was INCREDIBLY patient with someone who offered him no real financial benefit. Russ was the old-school type that just doesnt exist anymore. I could regale you with many stories, but the long and the short of it is that he was one-of-a-kind, in the best of ways.I also dealt with his son John, who has always been an honest and forthright person. On many occasions, John called me when he received something in the shop that he thought I might like.Try as I might, I cannot come up with anything negative to say about this company- if I didnt like their buy price, I didnt sell. On the flipside- I have bought a fortune worth of coins from EW Coin, and never regretted a singe purchase. This place is a solid family run business that I have been able to trust my entire life.Thank you for being a mentor Russ, you are missed.
The owner is really nice and very helpful
Cranky and cantankerous owners. Has a fit if people park in front of their shop to visit Food Pantry next door, doesnt matter if youre disabled or not.
Been a customer of theirs over 5 years and always felt it was a good experience. Father and son family owned business.
Doesnt take the time to help someone. He didnt seem to care at all. Terrible customer service
