The general store or Ace hardware as you call it is amazing the one on division has an automotive section that is phenomenal. turbo kits aftermarket radiators any kind of aftermarket part you could ever imagine they have. Theyve even expanded their fittings and style or national pipe tap style selection is huge. Custom air intakes really the sky is the limit. Staff there is super knowledgeable countless amounts of engine jewelry. It also is a normal Ace hardware but theyre automotive section is phenomenal. They also have a car show every Fathers Day

Usually love this store, but haff a bad experience yesterday.. went and picked up some parts a few washers and nuts a medal bar. unfortunately got home and realised it wasnt right size.. went straight back realized I didnt have RECEIPT was hoping to exchange. I paid cash the first time it was under 20 used home number so should be easy to find right..NOPE!!! They tried looking it up by number on bar but it showed no one had paid for one that day. I could of asked them to review camera but the gal who was helping me seemed tired and she was expecting I didnt want to stress her or her unborn. I ended up paying for the right size parts.. But because someone didnt scan right number in from product and they said they couldnt look it up from phone number(which I think is crazy) I paid again.. MORAL KEEP RECEIPTS. Just a bad experience.. Normally I could of exchanged it no problem.. Yesterday however it just seemed short staffed, over stressed workers and just a bad experience all together.. According to info I got from cashier even if I had receipt the bar didnt have right number put in so it could of been bigger problem..I Strongly recommend double checking everything

This is a local favorite for a reason. Its more independent then the brand name implies and has lots of cool things you wouldnt normally expect to find in a typical hardware store, especially outdoor gear.

Prices are way to high. They shouldnt sell bathing suits if they cant have a better selection at decent prices. They want designer prices for brands that have never been heard of and really horrible colors and patterns

I just love this place. I dont know why exactly other than there are some unique offerings. Plus the place is effing humongous.Kinda expensive in some cases. Decent deals can be had for the persistent.In any case its always fun to just browse here.

This store is a lot bigger then it looks from the outside and theyve got everything. Its a great place to look around and find what you need and a whole bunch of stuff your gonna want! They have a lot of, very nice, employees that are ready to help you if you need them to as well.

Ive gone here since childhood and would give 5 stars but the only reason weve gone there the last couple times was to buy disc golf discs, and they were COMPLETELY sold out. :( Theres a ton of stuff in here though besides discs; shoes, clothes, guns, toys, hardware, even car motors!

Massive Ace Hardware. Came here for paint and was very impressed. I was surprised at how big it was and their vast selection of items. Huge fishing section with a lot of different refrigerated live and dead bait. Will go back.

I used to come here more often, but this time was a lot more fun. Was with my son, so we ventured up to the toy section upstairs, which Id never been. More toys than I thought they would have. Their pricing and selection is a lot better than expected. Ill be coming here more often for various things. Auto, sporting goods, toys, etc.

They have everything your heart fancies in the wildlife game department from Fishing and Hunting gear galore, the people are very friendly and helful and everything else in between in the store is fun to explore. You can find all kinds of gardening tools to knives and guns as well.. Great store!!

Excellent variety but some poor pricing on tools. Harbor freight tends to blow them away in the price department. Where the general store takes the lead however is the wide range of of products and sections available to browse. They offer a lot and you can generally find what you need.

I took my grandkids there to show them a place that I went to with my dad. well thats where the trip went bad. There was no help to be found I bought all 3 of my grandkids a toy the sale sign said 12.99 they changed me 24.99 I found an alarm clock that I was looking for. Got home the alarm clock was a return item because all the plastic bags to cover the pieces was stuffed down in the bottom of the box and no it didnt work. I was upset when I found my receipt and saw how much I paid vs what was the price I really paid Im sorry its not the great place I remember

Here is an old fashioned store full of really great items, from auto to sporting goods, shoes, insulated jeans, house wares to hardware. The staff is friendly and helpful and they generally have what I am looking for, and I usually find something else I need before Im out the door. They are one of the few stores left that you can find this much consistant variety of quality products under one roof. Dont miss there clearance and camping/ outdoor gear upstairs, it a store in itself. You must stop in and compare before you go elsewhere. You will probably find it here. Im not talking about wide isles or shiny floors, just a hardware store on steroids. Keep it going General Store, you are appreciated. You are one of the last stores I know of that continues on the same great style of old fashion service and products . I need to see and feel what I am buying, not just look at it online. This type of service is disappearing from our society, which makes me appreciate you all the more. Thankyou General Store

I truly enjoy this location and their product. Theres a cheap version and an expensive version of everything in the world well the General Store also has the cheaper version and the more expensive heavier-duty version of items. And I think thats beautiful because sometimes all I need its just something to make it work then theres stuff that I want to keep it to work and I can find both versions in this General store which I havent really found anywhere I used to live. So I appreciate that but I dont have to go multiple places its all right there

Cindy in shoes was super helpful! She listened to what i wanted, and grabbed several different boots. She waited while i tried them on & went after different ones that fit better until i found the pair that was perfect.

Much like my NOSTALGIA where 2 SWABBIES, SPORTSMAN SURPLUS, INDIANA HARNESS and the like are concerned....i enjoy venturing to THE GENERAL STORE. Great selection of merchandise and alit of WESTERN WEAR. You usually find something you didnt even know you needed as it always occurs when YOURE JUST LOOKING.

Has become my go-to for sporting goods after white elephant closed. Hardware selection is ok. Usually cant find my size in clothing (im a husky guy). Only place I can find certain things like carhartt palm grip gloves. They can be slow to restock items.

Prices are a little high compared to cabelas and sportsmans warehouse as for automotive parts and accessories somewhat competitive, was disappointed that they dont sell ammo anymore. Probably wont be back.
