People are nice and helpful here. Its nice having a hardware store near.
You kick me out of this basis on Indian Trail and I wont forget what youve done for me you hurt my feelings Im a retired officer in the military thats never happened before but I will never spend a penny in that store and Ill let people know not to come in there
They got anything one mite need, and good helpfully service. It s cool place to go look for things
Its a good store w friendly staff. It funny the only 1 stars here are the covid queens . If your so scared . You stay home. The rest of us have jobs to do. Thanks guys I shop your store weekly
Great store. Awesome employees. Horrible parking. Seriously the parking sucks
Really nice store. The people working there are friendly and helpful. They had everything we needed.
This is the best Ace store in this area of Spokane. It may be small, but it is spotless, well-organized, and the staff are very helpful. I like the ambience of the store, which sound bizarre for a hardware store. But things are quiet, efficient, and folks are not milling around looking lost.
Friendly people useful stuff, what more could you ask for?
I have been shopping the store for the past couple years since it changed ownership. There are a couple posts that are not very positive for this store and I’m not sure where these people are really shopping at this store. They may be confusing Spokane Ace on Monroe Street for another a store as there are several in the vicinity. This a store is superior to all of the others in the Spokane area. Ever since Covid, this store has had the strictest policy on wearing a mask at all times. It’s clearly posted before you walk inside of the store. It is enforced! I have never seen a customer or an employee in the store without a mask on. From the minute I’ve walked into the store every time while shopping somebody greets me immediately with a smile and a very helpful attitude. The store goes beyond normal customer service. Every employee is very knowledgeable and make sure that you are finding what you need. I will continue shop this store because it is the best ace hardware store in the Spokane area. Thank you Spokane Ace Hardware on Monroe Street!
I went in to buy a fan a few weeks ago and before my eyes could even adjust from coming in from outside, I was immediately greeted by two employees asking what I was looking for. They both seemed eager and nice when they asked, but when I said I was looking to buy a fan, the lady looked at me like I had just said the most idiotic things ever and pointed at a huge tower of fans nearby. She seemed so annoyed that I was there and bothered to respond to her question. That employee, and the fact that the aisles are pretty cramped (I had trouble pushing a stroller down some aisles) are my only complaints.
Very helpful employees. Sometimes I just like to browse I dont need that much help
Always friendly and ready to help even when they are super busy or stocking shelves. Love the customer service.
Love Ace! Local, neighborhood business, and everyone is always so helpful. I go here whenever I can and steer clear of Home Depot and Lowes.
Very helpful staff, although i believe really need more staffing during buzy hours. Lines can get long during lunch hours and 4-6pm.
They where very helpful in helping Me get what I needed.
Great people very local feel to the store and staff.
Staff is very helpful, asking what you need, where to find it and having another staff member assist. Glad to have a hardware store so close to home that is well organized. The only downside is the aisles are NARROW, where one person comfortably fits, so try to not bring your friends as two or more people can be claustrophobic.
Had what we needed!!! Thats whats most important
Is the good place to find home needs repairs6 they have good customer service their place is pretty clean easy to find their products
Im always ask if I need help. A great place to shop thumbs up👍
Entered into Ace and was immediately greated by a friendly smile welcoming us in. We found a couple things we needed but were stumped on one other product. Another staff member approached us and asked if we were finding everything okay. We told him qhat we were looking for and he was able to bring us right to the location. Thank you guys for being so friendly!
The help is helpful and the people who work are friendly and its real close to ware I live.
Went in to pick up a odor blocking primer for our subfloor and had some great customer service at the paint counter. Friendly and knowledgeable staff makes this neighborhood hardware store a easy 5 stars.
Nice folks and tons of stuff - convenient location too!
Store is clean and organized. Tip top!
This store has it all plus location and friendly and knowledgeable sales representatives.
Super disappointed that this store has chosen to not enforce the mask mandate. It is not safe to shop there. Sad, because it is so convenient. Reporting to the state and on the Keeping Safe Spokane FB site.
Love this place, wish they had an FFL
All the staff wearing masks...But to discover that the owner of this branch has chosen to not enforce the mask mandate regarding customers not only negates the diligent efforts of the staff, but puts everyones lives at risk. Disappointing to see how little this Ace cares about their employees and customers. As my local Ace - this is disappointing in so many ways...this crosses moral and ethical lines...
Very nice smaller hardware store on Spokanes South Hill. Easy to visit with lots of assistance available.
Great local feel and they always seem to have the items I need at a reasonable price. Staff was very helpful.
Always amazed at how much product they can pack into a small space. Great neighborhood hardware store. Friendly staff.
Everyone is friendly and we always get what we need.
The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. There prices are a little high on some items and there selection is a bit limited compared to other stores like them.
Its close and pretty handy for nuts and bolts and what not.
This is almost like a neighborhood hardware store was like back in the day. Sadly, most of the albeit-helpful staffers are simply too young and inexperienced to be truly helpful. Despite that, there is a LOT of stuff crammed into this friendly little store.
Customer service was great, and best of any other Ace Hardware I gone to accross the country. Thanks again.
Thank you so much. We had a car project which needed an odd type of self tapping metal screw. We were mounting an arm rest to a restore project. The gentleman found two options for us. And the three hour job took us twenty minutes. 6-7-2020. C-19 social distancing is handled appropriately.
We were looking for a part there online store said that the part was at this location. The isle were some what confusing other then that service wise they were nice and pointed us to another store.
Fast friendly and had exactly what I needed
Good selection and every time I go in and I have somebody asked me if I need help
I have spent all kinda $$$ here salesman recommended nail and screw sizes that split my trim and he was quite rude. I was dirty from gardening. . I was not nasty but I was not perfectly clean. He treated me like my money was not good enough. I will make the trip to S. Hill. Will not shop here again.
We are going through a home renovation and have gone to ACE probably 15 times in the last month. You can expect great customer service! Every time I walk in, someone immediately asks, What can I help you find? The staff is dedicated, knowledgeable and will give you the time necessary to help you find what you need, or point you in the right direction if they dont have it.I recently walked through Home Depot in the Valley and felt like I was a burden each time I asked employees for help. Employees would literally look away to avoid eye contact. The same day I went into ACE and everything was 20%, they had free cake, gave me free bucket and a free ACE hat! They were warm and friendly. Pretty much sums it up! ACE may be a national brand but these guys act like your neighborhood hardware store. We love them!!
Good corner hardware store with lots of selection. Some hard to find items, but missing some staples.
A little Ace Hardware. Has a lot, but you will need to ask an associate where anything is since its filled to the brim with stuff. Great location on the South Hill
Such an amazing store with a broad selection of items! The owners are incredible people who are passionate about having customers become a part of their Ace family. I especially love the Hootenannys corner, where I can find super cute and unique gifts for others and great home decor for myself! Support small business and shop with Spokane Ace Hardware!
Used to love this store. Then they rearranged. Then covid hit. This store doesnt allow for nor encourage social distancing. If you want my business, keep me safer please.
Friendly staff, awesome customer service
Great little hardware store. Staff is more than helpful with knowledge for most jobs. Just dont have a big selection of items which is to bad
They had a light and batterys to break the darkness. Yah.
Great customer service.
Made a copy of a key that doesnt work.
They were out of 3/8 compression couplings which I really needed. Had to go to ACE on Rowan and they had plenty. Bummer.
Ace is a helpful place! Excellent customer service at this location. They had everything on my list, were super friendly, and the associate who greeted me also helped me find everything I needed, carry it around the store, and loaded my purchases into my vehicle with me. 5 stars! The only downside about this and every other hardware store on the South Hill is the lack of lumber!
Dont ever buy anything here as you wont be able to return it. I purchased two casters that I tried to return the next day with the receipt. I was curtly informed that they were dirty and would not be accepted. Apparently there were some minor marks on the rubber wheels of the caster? Im amazed that a store can function with customer service that poor. Theyve lost my business.
Friendly helpful knowledgeable employees
Awesome neighborhood hardware store. I shop here because I dont want to wander through a warehouse looking for some help. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.
A welcoming friendly staff every time I stop by!Super helpful and I can always find the piece I came for.
They care about your presence in the store thay greet you with help to find what you are looking for. The prices are really good with unique items👍
Had the hardware I needed. The nice people were very helpful.
Great place, too bad ALL Ace Hardware stores are not exactly like the General Store.
Didnt have the item i wanted but gave me a similar item for the same price. Super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this store.
Great people. Theyre always happy and extremely helpful. Its in a great location too.
Great selection and friendly helpful staff.
The parking lot is a freaking nightmare. Try to mow down some hippies. Ace has very helpful staff.
This location is not prepared for online orders. It took so long for them to find my paperwork for what Id paid for (and received the notification to pick up 24hrs before) that others who entered the store after us were finding and purchasing their items and leaving while we still waited for assistance. The paperwork ended up being exactly where it should have been, and Im extremely confused as to why that wasnt the first place the manager checked before his 10 minute search in the back his employees couldnt explain.Didnt even receive an acknowledgement regarding the wait from the manager who caused said wait. I would not choose an online pickup from this location again and am hesitant to use Ace in general after this experience. I recommend going somewhere more organized and reasonably priced where your time and business will be valued.
Small store but local and they had what I needed while in town visiting family. Staff was super helpful with finding the needle in a haystack I was looking for. Worth a stop in if you have a project you need to finish off or are in need of tools.
This was a very nice store. Very helpful employees. Parking is a little tight.
Very convenient hardware store to downtown Spokane, I can walk to it easily from Brownes Addition. Staff is very helpful and they seem to have a great selection of most everything hardware related.
The more unique & special the item, the more likely Im headed for Home Depot. If its a common item & Ace is close by, Ill head Aces direction. Ace reminds me of a hometown hardware. Good guys & and good service vs. Home Depots wide array of widgets.
Convenient to the West end of South Hill Spokane. Good help, well stocked. Pay a little more, save gas money and time by driving to the big box stores.
Ace is a convenient neighborhood hardware store. When Im doing a home project and am missing a needed part or tool I can almost always find what I need. Their sales associates also have the experience needed to make reccomendations.
Very good assortment of everything. Super friendly people!
Local Ace Hardware. If youve seen one smaller Ace Hardware, youve seen most of them. Provides hardware to the Cliff-Cannon neighborhood at reasonable prices and a selection better than most. If you need keys cut, plumbing or electrical supplies, or any sort of nut, bolt, or other fastening hardware, Ace will save you a trip into the urban jungle to find a big box store.Speaking of hardware, their selection really is the largest of any hardware store I have yet been into in the greater Spokane area. If you cant get it here, youre unlikely to find it outside of a specialty store such as Tacoma Screw Products.
Very helpful!
Very well stocked, knowledgeable staff and great selection!
Great place for quick buy, especially if you want to take a quick jaunt. Everything you expect plus plants and herbs saplings. Cant go wrong!!!
Over priced vut if you dont want hassels of big stores its the way to go. Always friendly and gelpfull
Great place
I love going there, these guys always have what Im looking for!
Ace doesnt care about its neighborhood. I went out to shovel my sidewalk this morning and as has occurred dozens of times I found discarded Pepsi cups on my lawn. Ive seen hundreds of cups in my walks around the neighborhood. I brought this nicely to the attention of Ace and they laugh and say, Were not responsible for what our customers do after they leave the store. What do you want us to do? Its not hard Ace. A bar somehow manages not to serve minors. The problem are young teenagers who visit your store in groups. They dont come there to buy ladders and toilet repair kits. Its not hard to not serve unaccompanied minors. Come on Ace, care about your impact on the neighborhood.
Employes are very knowledgeable of their products. They always go the extra mile. I get different clerks depends on whos working they all seem to love their customers and jobs! I rate them 10+. Thank you Ace on Monroe St.
Has basic hardware, I really am not a fan of the newish rearrangement of everything it seems clustered and unorganized. Doesnt really help that the customer service is difficult to interact with and kinds act like your irritating them.
Quick visit for scotchtape. Helpful staff.
In and out....gotta love it
A great place for most things, adn the employees are the best, the only downside is that they dont have the best selection of parts.
Was helped by every employee in the store. Friendly & nice selection of goodies
Very nice store, seems to have a good selection of products. Had what I needed at a good price, and a helpful staff member took me right to it so I was in and out of there in no time.
Well stocked for size, very helpful and friendly
Great place. More than just a Hardware store.
One of the best places to get what ya need not much that they dont have and there service is great
I live less than a mile from the Ace Hardware on Monroe and 10th Ave., and since I own an old house, I have been there dozens of times and spent hundreds of dollars. Today I was purchasing parts to replace a toilet and accidentally bought the wrong connector hose for the water supply. When I got home I tore the tag off the hose, removed packaging from my other purchases, and started my project. I found out the hose was wrong a couple of hours in, so I grabbed my receipt and the part and went back to the store. The cashier, a disinterested young girl, told me that I couldnt return the part because it had no packaging. I had the part and the receipt, plus one of the employees had seen me in there twice earlier and helped me find the part originally.I get that this is probably a policy for a reason, but I will also say that the only advantage a store like this has over Home Depot is service. For the sake of not allowing me to return a $7.61 part, they have lost my business. I will drive the extra miles to Home Depot from now on.Does that make financial sense? Nope. Am I ok with that? Yes. Yes I am.
Convenient, friendly staff, amazing variety of stuff!
Seemingly incompitant staff, overpriced and Im pretty sure that the kids who helped me was stoned.
Let me share something, I bought some link chain and I paid a $1 more a yard there, than the one at the north side on Frances, They are not owned by the same person so they can all set their prices wherever they want, Never again going to shop at ACE, So south side ACE was $10 dollars more for the same thing !
Friendly service. Had just what I needed to seal the roof so yay.. would go back..
Excellent service the employees were friendly and very helpful.
Hands down the rudest service, all three times Ive been in there
Undergoing remodeling so things were a little chaotic. Staff were helpful
Employees dont seem to enjoy working there at all. Thats too bad. Store has a lot of potential. New garden plants priced a bit high, not being watered. Felt lick nobody cares in store. Sometimes thats because management or owner doesnt care about employees or customers?
