My car battery died in 95-degree heat, right outside of Spring Hills Rural King store. I was lucky to get a jump from a stranger, but its 3:30 p.m., my options were limited to get a battery somewhere. Knowing that there was Tuffy down the road, I called and spoke with Josh. He told me that if I could get the car there as soon as possible he would see what he could do. He was so nice and friendly.Theyre waiting room was cool, clean and comfortable. My mom was with me and she is recovering from chemo. Being comfortable while we waited was so important. Josh worked with his team to get a car battery and install it, while he worked on finishing other peoples vehicles too. We were out of there in 30 minutes! He also check the alternator and a few other things to make sure the car was perfect. When we left, our car was running like new! I will continue to use this Tuffy store and tell all my friends. They really care.

These guys will actually show you what is wrong and what you need to have repaired, instead of trying to rip you off. They diagnosed my car with bad bushings in my control arms and that I needed tires, but they said it would still make the trip back to Michigan so I could do the work myself. I had new tires put on and the car drove great, made to Michigan with no issues. Its rare to get honest quotes from shops anymore, wish there was more repair shops with honest guys like this one.

I am a little frustrated with my recent experience at this tuffy location! I made an appointment to get my oil changed and before they got started I told them I had a $25 gift card promotion upon them looking at my car they said I needed a new air filter so I said okay by the end of the service I was charged $62 AFTER MY GIFT CARD??? I was charged almost $90 for a synthetic oil change blend and a new air filter! I spoke to other tuffy locations and they said that’s crazy! Moral of my story I will not be going back to this location!!

My truck started grinding in the front, and I broke down across the street from shop. Kevin, the store manager was nice enough to help me get it to his shop. I needed front brakes that were grinding, and a wheel bearing. I didnt have much money, and Kevin was nice enough to work with me. He was able to keep it in my budget, and get me back on the road. Thank you Tuffy and Kevin. I will tell all my friends.

Today my trucks trie blew & I was stuck on the side of the road right in front of their shop. Two of the mechanics there came down to see if I was alright. Now they do not sell tries but they took they time to look in the back of their shop to see if they had any laying around. Jeremy came back to my truck took it up to the shop & put the tire on my truck. I was really in a bind & Jeremy helped me out! I appreciate these guys a ton! I would definitely take my truck there for any kind of mechanic help!

Everyone there was very polite, the mechanic Ricky did a great job on the car repairs. When he diagnose the car they brought me out and showed me everything that needed to be done. I felt very comfortable being there he treated me good. I met the owner Kevin and he was very polite and helpful with all my question I had. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for good mechanics and staff you can trust.

I usually do all the work myself but since Ive been to tuffy Ive ran across some experienced people they knew what they were talking about and doing so now I will allow them to work on my vehicle but I will never let any other shop work on my vehicle the people at tuffy has proved to me that they knew what they were talking about and knew what they were doing that is why I chose to go back

This place had excellent service. We called ahead and they told us we can just come over. Our tire had an object embedded in it - they quickly fixed it. The entire interaction was fast and pleasant. Tire has been great so far, about 500+ miles later.

Came into get an oil change... and Frank called me over to tell me I needed an air filter... you’re thinking unnecessary upscale... so was I till he showed me the rodent poop...good think he checked especially cause now I’m all grossed out

I will definitely be coming back to Tuffy! Jon was so kind and helpful. I had to get my brake pads replaced and paid a good price. Waited about an hour and my brakes felt great afterwards!

If it would let me not give any stars thats what I would give they tried to charge me $1,200 saying that I needed work done on my car when in fact I only needed a $200 job done. I do not recommend this place for anyone and I will never go there again.

I chose Tuffy because they came highly recommended to me last October. Im a snowbird and many of the people in my community told me they had positive experiences with them. I totally agreed with them based on my October visit. However, things seemed to have changed. I went in for an oil change that I was prepared to spend approximately $70. I was shocked when the bill was $160. I had agreed to have two air filters installed. It was most likely my fault for not asking more questions. However, thats where the problem was. I was pretty shaken up when the unmasked attendant came out of the store and sat down on the bench (That I had cleaned with my lysol wipes) to show me what needed to be done and how dirty my filters were. I jumped up and told him I as assured that their shop followed social distance guidelines and I was not comfortable. He apologized and moved. Since Im considered to be in a high risk group, Ive pretty much stayed at home and was nervous about having to go out into a public place. I had called ahead to check on their policy and was assured that all social distancing and sanitation was being observed. I could tell by the dust that was on my car that that was not true. When I came home I had to thoroughly give the interior of my car a real cleaning in order to even feel safe in it. I have heard that the personnel is all different there since the fall and some believe it is under new management. I will not be returning there the next time I need service.

Theyre efficient, honest and reliable. I bought a older car and they honestly explained what was wrong, how to fix it and how much it would cost to repair. I recommend them in Spring Hill and 19.

Greatest service I’ve ever had. I needed to get motor mounts and tires on my truck. I called everywhere looking for the best deal. Most local companies could not give me a straight answer, they all told me I needed to bring it in. I called and spoke with Kevin on the phone, he was extremely knowledgeable about my vehicle and gave me a price right then. While working on my car they saw some little things that needed tweaking. I explained that I had 3 kids and was on a budget. He was very respectful and explained what needed to be done and what could wait. Not only was he the most fairly priced but the work was amazing. I have referred several friends and all of my family. My brother drove from Clearwater just to ensure he would get the best service. Thanks for such an amazing experience!!!

As always, my experience with Tuffy was amazing. Kevin and the rest of the staff are friendly and informative. I needed an oil change and possibly a coolant flush, within an hour of drop off Kevin called to tell me the coolant issue was an easy fix ( a previous shop had shoved a rag in the reservoir) and would I like to work on some other maintenance issues I knew about. I was able to get a bearing replaced and the egr valve done instead. They were finished within 3 hours. Awesome! And I never felt like I was being ripped off or pressured to do more than needed.

The manager, Kevin was very personable and professional, he showed me a small oil leak but said it wasnt serious just to watch it doesnt get worse. Never met e more honest car repair shop especially in Spring Hill area. I would recommend this place to everyone.Bob Hayward

These guys are the BEST!!! Fair, honest, and reliable!!! Had my emissions box hanging off in the rear of my car. They bolted it in for NO CHARGE. They are fast, knowlegable and again EXTREMELY honest. Ill be back again for sure and i told my family members about them and they are gonna go there as well. I also know 4 other people at Sp Hill Lanes that go there and they all agree with me about this place.

The only place I trust to work on my vehicle. I went there thinking I needed an alignment and it turned out to be bad tires. While other garages would probably tell me that I still needed it, they told me that I didnt need one. Had been meaning to leave a review for awhile. I had tires installed here, and the manager or who I believe may be the manager Lance was fantastic. A couple days later one of the valve stems had a leaking issue and they instantly took care of it for me. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here for service.

Just stopped in because the cover of the undercarriage on my car had come loose and was dragging. Within minutes the manager, Kevin, had the guys put it on the lift and reattach it. Place was clean and quiet and employees were friendly. He had me back up and running in no time and wouldn’t accept a penny! Great customer service!!

Employee accidentally told me that my tires were rotated, right before telling me that they were unable to rotate them. Extra service that was declined was not explained to me at all, and I just had to pull over to shut my hood that was, conveniently, left open for me. Also, sign outside states oil change $14.99 but I was charged over $30, then told that had I not said anything about the sign they would not have told me so make sure you tell them!

I had a nail in my tire so i went in to get a patch done. walking in i told them i wanted a patch as i was talking to the desk person. paying 30$ i thought it was a little price. within 5-8 min they said they were done. looking at my tire i only got a plug. the man did not even take my tire off my truck. 30$ for a 5$ job. i could have done it myself. never going back, over priced and lazy men

I had my car towed to another place where he had 3 weeks to do all my brakes as I had little to no brakes. I was told my car was unsafe and I should get rid of it. My car has 76,000 original miles and has been garaged. The mechanic put in a new battery and that was it. Upon my return I had so little brake and should not have been able to drive it home. I found Tuffys on the internet and spoke with the manager, Kevin. He gave me appointment. His mechanic fixed my brakes and I have a safe car again! They were so caring and treated me with the greatest respect and most importantly fixed my brakes. I highly recommend Kevin to anyone out there liking for a mechanic that tells the truth, knowledgeable, friendly, and cares. They dont rip you off for your money! They have earned my trust and respect!

I had previously went to Tuffys and it wasnt the best experience. I decided to go there again recently and was pleasantly surprised. I had a chance to meet the owner, Bill, and he quoted me a price and when it was all said and done, the price quoted was the same... not a penny over!! (Like they do at other shops!)I would urge anyone that needs work to their vehicle to try this place and become a lifetime customer as I have.

Stay away from this place. Very unprofessional and if you have any stereo equipment make sure you turn it off or remove the face plate. Their techs like to play with it and in my case break it. I had a $1000 pioneer navigation system they decided to play with and broke the screen. Management claims they are not responsible and that their techs are told not to touch anything. They are a franchise so corporate doesnt care either.

Great place overall.*Oct.2018 i had my power steering belt break today and in a frantic state i remebered to call Tuffys ...they got me right in fixed the problem in less than an hour and were extremely reasonable pricewise. Great service. I called on Saturday at 1 pm to see if they could do a simple alignment and as i was driving there i started to overheat .They quickly diagnosed the problem and found a major Crack in the radiator. It was 6 calls to find a new radiator for a 2000 Kia Sportage. They stayed late on Saturday to compete the problem and the alignment was done to.Thank you Matt.

I brought my car in because the muffler pipe broke. I brought it in thinking i would need a new muffler system they suggested a repair that cost me a $100 vs over $600 for a new system. I find them to be honest which is rare in this business. Thank you Tuffy

Don’t even know where to begin on how awful my experience was here. Paid over 1,000 to have them fix my car and was told a 4 hour wait. After 2.5 hours waiting I was informed that while performing the service they broke another piece on my car and they expected me to pay extra money to cover the new one! After some back and forth the manager said he would cover the cost of that part but my car wouldn’t be fixed until tomorrow morning. While frustrated I waited until the next morning and at 11 am when I didn’t hear anything I called them and they informed me that they just started working on it and that it would be at least another couple hours. At this point I have my job upset at me for not being able to come into work on time, but finally at 3:00pm I was informed I could pick my car up. I was in such a rush paying for my car so I could get to work that I didn’t realize that they added the price of the part they broke into it!! And even after all of this my car still made the same noise it did when I brought it in!!
