I came to Daphne and Dimitris with what I thought was mission impossible -- but they proved me wrong. I needed to get two dresses altered in less than a weeks time. One of the dresses had previously been altered at another company, but I was extremely unhappy with the result (I was charged a ridiculous amount and only two uneven lines of dart stitching were put in down the front). The previous place told me that they could either take out the stitches or leave it as is -- no ifs, ands, or buts. When I showed Daphne the dress, she said it wouldnt be a problem to make the changes I wanted and she wasnt sure what the previous company was talking about. In about 3-4 days, Daphne was able to alter the two dresses and add in a zipper to the second one without any problems. After her alterations, each dress fit like a glove and I was so excited to wear them. I am so incredibly happy with the quality -- especially considering the time constraints -- and I even recommend them to out-of-state family and friends if theyre ever in town and need alterations. I brought in a bridesmaid dress from David’s Bridal and had them hem the bottom. It was done beautifully at a reasonable price :) will be back!

I had another tailor mess up on my skirt that needed alterations. So I brought here because I saw the reviews. All I needed was for them to cut the skirt (not even a inch) and make it even again. The lady gave me a quote of over $30! I only paid $20 for that skirt. I took it to a different tailor & they did it for $10 and the skirt came out amazing! This place was way over priced do not recommend.

We went in this weekend to order tuxes for our wedding nice old fashion business. Dina one of the owners was so nice she actually kept in contact with me for a few days before we came in . I would highly recommend 😊

The couple that owns this place is so adorable. They are a very nice couple from Greece. The gentleman is very straight to the point. The lady is usually a bit more talkative and cheerful. English is not their first language so if you have trouble understanding accents, keep that in mind and try to be patient with them when you go.The prices are fair and they do a good job with a great turnaround time. They have even made alterations I wanted even when it is against their best judgement. They always try to warn me about the possible outcome of what I am asking but if I tell them I am willing to risk it, they go ahead and do it. They are one of the only places I know of that still does on site alterations.Some reviewers said they were told that alterations couldnt be done. Some things cannot be altered because of how they are constructed and the gentleman who usually measures you is always willing to explain and show you why something cannot be altered though you might have to ask.I highly recommend this place.

Took my wedding dress here with about 2 weeks to the wedding to get it altered and I’m so happy with the outcome! I was nervous because I didn’t think what I needed would get done but they did it! The couple that works there are so nice, sweet and hardworking! More than Fair prices, my dress had to have a lot done to it and it was a lot less than I expected. If you are reading this review they are amazing and reliable and I 100% recommend taking anything you need fixed to their shop!

Im glad I read all reviews because I dont want to deal with owners who are difficult to understand and cant provide information on any possible solutions (since they are supposed to be the experts in this line of work, right?). The owners seem rather defensive in their responses to customers concerns and take legitimate criticism very personally which is unprofessional and unproductive. It sounds like its their way or the highway. I havent even been to your shop yet and I already just want to STAY on the highway. I have dealt with tailors in the past who were more than capable of saving original hems and other details you may not want discarded. They simply reattached and spliced sections back together to provide a more original unaltered appearance. Thats all it takes but I have a feeling that the owners just dont want to invest or waste their precious time to get the job done right. I have performed tailoring and have knowledge of required procedures and have never responded to customers complaints in such a short, slightly abrasive manner. You should be more considerate and inviting.

This place is fantastic! I called at 9 oclock when they opened on a Saturday and needed a dress altered by 2 oclock that afternoon and they were very accommodating . They did a beautiful job and the price was what I considered too low for the work she did. I will be recommending them to everybody I know

I brought my wedding dress that had a train in hemming and cutting off the train. They did a fantastic job. You would never know the dress was not purchased that way. Very personable and professional. Finished the alteration on the date they promised. The price was also fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend this couple.

They were expensive, they charge me $27 to tailor a scrub pant.

I would not recommend this business for special occasions! My sister came to this place with her wedding dress and after coming in once a week for a month, we were finally able to take the dress home. Only when we tried the dress on for the final fitting, there were noticable stains, uneven hems, and a ripped seam. When brought you their attention, they were automatically angered and aggravated. They started yelling and blaming us. Long story short, we were far from happy with the end result. Wound up taking the dress to another tailor with only 10 remaining days until the wedding. Beware!
