Good Kroger location. When needed, employees are helpful, except for some COVID-related issues, shelves are always stocked with what Im looking for. This location is not quite as fancy as the Thompsons Station one, but theres a renovation currently underway, so maybe it will be in the near future? Only real complaint is Port Royal is awful when traffic is heavy, so getting in and out of the shopping center can be a pain, but thats not Krogers fault, but poor development planning.
While I really like the store and layout today’s visit was bad. Hardly no produce, veggies very scarce, had to buy baking potatoes so we would have some. Also bagged peaches were terrible. They were all soft and mushy. No grapes, berries, cantaloupe. Lot is items in other departments also with scarce items on shelves. Not sure what is going on but may have to take my grocery shopping elsewhere.
When a young lady about to go on break offers to go and help a customer empty her cart and her vehicle that deserves five stars all day long. Great job Laura. I noticed.
Do not use the pharmacy!!! Ever since the construction started they had curb side pick-up then all the pharmacy employees quit so now its a 30 to 40 min wait in line to get prescriptions! 50 points towards fuel is not worth it just transfer everything to Walgreens at least they have a drive up for people who physically should not be standing in line for over half an hour!!!
I’m new to Spring Hill, with that being said well I needed to pick up my meds. My doctor called it in and with other Kroger’s I’ve used In the past would text/call me when pick up was ready. After 7 days I called my doctor and asked if it was placed in. He said he did a week ago. So I called Kroger. The pharmacist said he didn’t have anything for me. I then tell him that I was waiting for my meds, and then He said that they had it come in a week ago?!? Just that they didn’t fill it???!!! He tells me it could be ready in 30 mins. After 4 hours I get my call to pick it up. I just kinda feel that if the doctor called it in, why could I then call after the doctor to double check it they will be doing their job in a timely manner.
Always a nice and clean location! Usually always stocked. Friendly employees.
This is my favorite kroger in Spring hill the customer service is 2nd to none. I visit this store daily and I will say some of the best employees are in the deli especially Jackie shes the most professional and will go out of her way to make sure everything is correct and the customer service dept is one of the best
As someone who spends 2-300 weekly at this Kroger I will not step foot into this Kroger again. When preparing to pay, I realized that I had forgotten my wallet in the car and and asked if I could pay with a check. They said sure. I hand the the girl the check and she could not figure out how to make it work. I asked her if someone could walk with me to my car and get my card while I put my young son in his seat and waited. She said no. There is something wrong with your check. No stores will accept these checks, we use the same software as target, Walgreens and Walmart. It is because you have either had too many return checks or you have had your license revoked. Neither of these things are true. I left, went to Walgreen and wrote a check without any issues. As a regular customer, all I asked was someone walk with me to get my card so that my young son would not have to continue to sit in the cart. They were hateful, and rude and have lost a loyal customer.
This is the type of Kroger that the staff looks you dead in the eye when you say excuse me, and keeps walking... while maintaining eye contact. It got 2 stars because theyre pretty good about keeping things stocked.
Clean, pretty well stocked.
The staff here are so customer service friendly!!! Every time I ask for help all the staff go the extra mile to help!!! I have shopped all the different area stores and by far this store is the best stocked and has the best prices!!! I always come back here!!!
I’m going to start by saying I love/hate this Kroger. I love it because it is really close to my house and, outside of pandemic conditions, is open 24hrs so they are great in a minor emergency. The staff is great. They are all very pleasant and never seem put out when someone needs help or asks a questions. They are very quick to make a customer happy. I hate this place because, even before the pandemic, there is a serious stocking problem. They are constantly out of a lot of items I buy frequently. Even staple items can be bare or with limited selection. The click list service is below average. The people that deliver the order to your car are nice, but I have never had an order that was completely correct. Substitutions are not equal and the produce picked is not always the best. I’ve even had expired items and missing items. Nothing is more frustrating that having to go the store twice for an item they said they included. I will keep going because it is convenient. But, I never expect them to have everything on my list, and I’m not using the click list. Delivery is amazing however! It is through a 3rd party (instacart). It was like having my own personal shopping texting me through the whole process. She texted me when she needed a substitution approval and even sent pictures so I knew it would work for what I needed! My shopper agreed that this Kroger is the worst on stocking items. At least I’m not the only one it annoys.
A clean place, and friendly people! They know how to answer questions and very honest. I had a pickup person named Shelby, very sweet lady!
Nothing to disinfect cart handles for at least a few weeks now. The container is there. It’s just empty. Few, if any, store policies have changed to enhance customer safety. Very few employees wear face coverings. And so on. This store is not doing their part as a responsible member of the community.
Waited ten mins at fuel center no had to use my card when I had cash because the attendant was stuck in the bathroom I understand using the bathroom bt over ten mins why wasn’t there a back up attendant on hold instead of having me wait out in the cold I really appreciate you guys customers first policy
This is a huge Kroger with half the store filled with clothing, household items, pet section, toiletries/necessities and even a huge gift/card/flower center. The customer service has really gotten better over time since Ive been there. I will say to always check the expiration date on your items. Ive bought a few items expired from Krogers in general quite a few times so I always check. Other than that, this is my go-to Krogers over all the ones in my area.
Placed an order 2 days ago for pick up. Got a reminder text about my pick up time at 5 today. When I got there and called in I was told “oh you didn’t receive a call? Your order isn’t ready and probably won’t be until tomorrow”. I understand the influx of pick up orders they’re facing but the fact that they obviously over extended themselves (or the company did, I should say) and didn’t even give me the courtesy of a phone call or notification of any sort is unacceptable. I will make sure to stick with Walmart for my pick up orders. Never had this issue with them.
Terrible pandemic response. Will go to nearby Publix next timeUpdate: Publix was better, if pricier. The Kroger at Thomsons Station, up the street, was better still. Dunno why this branch has been having trouble encouraging public safety
Dont buy your flowers at the Spring Hill Kroger. I bought a dozen Roses for $15 on Saturday afternoon and they were completely dead on Wednesday morning. I called and discussed with the store manager Mr Gould and he basically said they only last maybe 4 days. This is different than other Kroger store policies which have told me they should last a week. So I guess Ill be shopping at Food Lion, Target, Walmart or Aldis from now on. Bye Kroger.
Love this location. It’s always very clean & the staff are always so helpful. I just left, it’s a busy Sunday & I was asked several times if I needed help finding anything. I got the the counter & had actually forgotten honey. Cori (a manager up front) was so sweet and ran back to get it for me. She didn’t have to & I didn’t even ask her to. I usually don’t leave reviews but everyone working today from the young cashier to the people stocking the isles was so nice and helpful in the midst of the craziness of Sunday shoppers. Great job to all working today.
I love that this is a 24hr grocery store and very clean. My disappointment is the seafood department. On several occasions, I have purchased snow crab and king crab and they were rotting. Today, they had king crab pre-packaged. The moment I opened the package the STRONG smell of ammonia filled my kitchen. Luckily, I am a seafood eater, so I know what seafood should smell and look like. For those who do not know, they could get really sick. As mentioned before, this has happened several times. Sadly, I will not be purchasing seafood from here again.
I have been a Kroger customer for many years. When I first moved to the area I was happy to find this store so close to my house. Now I am happy to find that I can go 2 more miles and shop at a different Kroger. The quicklist nightmare from last week has been the final straw for going to this store. I have even moved my prescriptions to another retailer.
They are limiting certain products (like toilet paper) to 1 per customer. Great idea!! Keep it up Kroger. Enforce this!!
I appreciate having a grocery store in the neighborhood. I have lived in this neighborhood for 4 yrs., and my experiences have been positive in this store. The service given in the deli and behind the counter has been attentive and pleasant. I love their chicken salad and maple turkey breast. I usually shop before rush hour, and I am always tickled when I arrive because I can usually get a parking space close to the door. Getting gas and groceries is a win win. Thank you Kroger for staying in the neighborhood.
Dont use this pharmacy. Doctor call it in at 10 AM and wasnt ready at 5 PM. How long does it take to put 5 pulls in bottle. Rest is done by computer!
We have the best Kroger. Lots of organic foods and the staff are really helpful and nice. Open 24 hours except for a few holidays. Also, youre not gonna find a better playlist in any store anywhere. My whole family talks about what played when they were at the store.
So they just added a booth that has hand held scanners so you can do shopping and checkout on your own.Omg love it shop, pay at the self checkout and done. Of course you have to bag yourself, but are u really that lazy🤔Look out jobs are gonna go!!
Friendly staff, clean easy shopping. I also want to say THANK YOU to Mr. Alan for being so kind to my little one after dropping pasta sauce and being very upset/scared about the incident. He and a manger gave her a balloon to calm her down. We are grateful for our hometown Kroger location.
Are you guys enforcing the mask requirements? So many people aren’t wearing them here.
Kroger offers a store brand other competitive prices. They offer store coupons to frequent shoppers and offer fuel points with each purchase. The staff is decent (lots of high school kids) and generally helpful. 4 out of 5 because Ive seen wild birds in the building.
I lived in Spring Hill for 16 years and was there when this store opened. It went downhill over the years. The service is terrible and highly understaffed. They do not treat their employees well either. Overworked and underpaid and they won’t give them enough hours to accommodate the needs of the store.
WORST PRODUCE EVER! Bought cherries, forgot the receipt so had to swap it out...for another bag of rotten cherries. Don’t get me started on the veggies...Publix isn’t any better so I guess I’ll have to travel further to Franklin to buy any produce. If we had a Sprouts or Whole Foods- I’d be in heaven.
Kroger CLICKLIST staff really great. They go out of their way to help. Jeffrey D. was exceptional in returning to the store to find a needed item that was missed on my order, bringing options right to my car!
Absolutely awful experience. I did the Pick Up option and it was a nightmare. I was supposed to pick up between 2 and 3. First time I arrived they said they were just wrapping up my order and it would be a few minutes. I believed them. But after hearing the same thing two more times over the space of an hour, I realized they were just lying to me. It was well after 3 before I actually got my order. I understand if youre busy, but why lie to me three times about just grabbing the last few things?AND THEN, the rotisserie chicken i bought for dinner was raw on the inside.
This store shows they updated their hours in the last week to be open 24 hours but they close at 11.
A well kept clean grocery store with a lot of healthy and international choices not found elsewhere. Store brands are good and the deli is very good. Lots of organic choices, vegetarian choices, gluten free, and other healthy choices.
The store is great for grocceries. I recommend getting a member card for the additional discounts. The bakery usually has fresh foods out and a discounted managers special table. The gas station is difficult to drive through and get a spot. Tight fit.
I love this location. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The clicklist pickup is always on time and correct.
It is a perfect example of every Krogers basically everywhere. Why Google wanted a chain grocery rated is a mystery, but here you go. It is a competent and functional grocery store which is thankfully open all night.
This Kroger is generally clean and usually has what I need. Their produce section is a bit lacking sometimes, but over all they have what you need. The employees are nice, but they dont talk to you much. I never really have to wait in a line to check out so my trips to this Kroger are fast and easy.
Every time I come to this pharmacy something goes wrong with my prescription. I call a few days and then a few hours ahead just to make sure my order is filled on time. And somehow its always hours or days later than what I was told. Today I was told that my prescription was actually scratched off off of the pharmacies order.
Smaller selection than other Kroger in town. My wife claims it smells of urine. Cant smell it myself, but a good example of things that put people off. Overall feels dated. Needs a revamp.
Always out of items I need. And shelves are never stocked correctly. But the cashiers and workers are always nice.
Very bad trip to Kroger tonight. When between 9:00 & 9:45.While I was getting items off a shelf a Very rude stock man shoved my basket across two aisle turn over everything in the cart.He did it intentionally went to the other end of the store to go back in the stockroom. Then got to checkout and only 1/2 the self checkouts where open and only 2 full service lines. Everything was backed up.
So sick of this store. I had to quit buying steaks from here. They wont cut steaks to customer request. Ive asked at least 5 times in the last 2-3 months. They always have an excuse why they wont cut. Im surprised people waste their money on 1/2 cut steaks.
Always has what I need! Thanks Kroeger. Great meat 🥩 prices too!
Good store, good staff, good merchandise, very good prices. It definitely a good store to have on this side of town. That girl Genevive deserves a raise though.
The customer service at this Krogers is horrible! After shopping for the week, found one cashier open with 8 people in line, with full shopping carts. Both self scan lines are open. I am tired of spending $2-300 per week to check and bag my groceries!
Go in at 9 to do some shopping... They shut down all the cash registers except the self check out. I HATE THOSE! After it goes haywire for thr 3rd time during my check out... I walk out. Without my groceries. Never coming back! EVER. No joke.
Love that they have click it at this location. Great coupons on the app too! I can always get what I need.
The best store in the area. Clean, well stocked and organized. Staff is friendly and professional.
Kroner is my favorite store. If you need anything just go to kroger. They have anything a person needs from ice cream to mouse posion. You cannot go wrong.
Convenient location close to many. Service staff is helpful. I dont know about all Krogers, but this one is open 24 hours, which comes in handy for emergencies.
Very nice cashier. Store not as well laid out as most Krogers. Better selection than the Columbia stores.
Most prices are better than the competition .I lived in a state without Kroger stores and grocery prices were considerably higher.
Its a smaller store, the produce section is its small and could be better at times with fresher fruit and veggies
It is always nice and clean great selection. Price is always a bit higher than some. They have an amazing selection of beer
I go for a quick trip. I prefer Publix for better selection, better stocked shelves and friendly service.
I went to the pharmacy to pick up my refill they told me it would be 30 minutes I said fine I will wait I did a little grocery shopping came back within an hour it still was not ready I sat down I waited I waited for another 30 minutes just for them to tell me that they did not have my prescription in and they can order it for tomorrow morning
I have shopped mostly at Kroger all my life. That is where my mother bought all her groceries. I have always liked their meats. Especially their steaks.
On Saturday evening I went to this Kroger for a few items, especially a pound of shrimp. There was no worker behind the counter, but as I walked up I could see a worker in the back through the window. He saw me but continued to talk to whoever was in the back. I stood there for 5 minutes waiting for him to come out but he didnt. Another couple approached the counter and he still didnt come out. 5 minutes later he came out the back but proceeded to help the other couple before even addressing me. The other couple was white and I am black. He looked at me but didnt say a word. Dont know if this was racially motivated or just pass poor service but I wont be patronizing them again. At the end of the day green is the only color that matters.
This is an overall clean and happy store. The employees are not soured here like they are in the Columbia stores.
I hate how everything is going to self service when you have to check out it tells you that they dont care about their customers!!! I feel if I have to check my own self out I should get an extra 20% off on my groceries because Im doing the work of a employee!!!!! That theyre not paying for and they are becoming like Walmart!!! So I shop there I got to check myself out I got a bag my groceries great customer service wrong!!!! When you dont want to pay for another cashier and I got to do their work yeah it kind of pisses me off!! Thats why I hate shopping at Kroger!!
Go to the lot to get your own cart. Bag your own groceries and the out of stocks are extreme.
This Kroger is all to frequently out of things we need. It seems as if they are not stocking the shelves consistently. It’s always extemely busy and is starting to become a pain in the butt to get in and out of the parking lot. Also, good luck getting help at the fish/meat counter! Employees there are rare like unicorns.
This store is always poorly stocked. And when they dont have what I need on the shelf they are unwilling to go get it out of the back! Specifically, Deer Park water!! I know they arent completely out!!! 😠
I shop here weekly. The selection and prices are good, but like many Krogers the customer support stinks. The Kroger on Main Street though is legendary, but its a further drive for me.
Its a plus that this store is open 24 hours a day. No doubt. But, if youre going to be open after 11pm, make sure you still offer high quality customer service standards that you likely offer during peak shopping hours. Things like staffed check out terminals, instead of detouring paying customers to self-checkout terminals. Things like NOT having an army of staff and tons of boxes blocking the isles and getting an attitude when you dare to shop and spend money there, keeping the place open! Things like having the f**king A/C on during hot, humid nights!! Things like keeping the lights on in the damn store so shoppers can actually SEE when they are shopping and spending money!!!I mean, its the little things that matter.
Clean store, friendly people, little busy, but expected. As a former Ascociate of 432, I am plenty pleased with this location. Thank you.
They are so helpful when I need anything thank you
They have a great selection. The meat department always has great deals. The staff are always friendly.
We call it the Super Kroger!! Huge organic/natural section is great! Always super clean, friendly people.
11:30 in morning place is getting busy and only 1 register open. I dont know if theres new management or corporate rules but place is going downhill
Dont go after 10pm if you expect a cashier
This is my favorite kroger store! Everybody is friendly n helpful. Store is bright and clean, very rarely have they been out of stock on items.
Convenient, rarely super busy. A well run grocery. Do 90% of our shopping here.
Great place great deals Kroger will always be my go to for groceries
Its my Kroger and I always enjoy shopping there. The pepple at the SpringHill, Port Royal Kroger is what makes the difference. From the managers to the sales associates, the quality of the workforce makes the ahopping experience most enjoyable.
Great store!
Friendly atmosphere. Clean. Pleasant shopping experience.
Helpful employees. Great sales on items we use regularly.
I come here all the time its usually a quick way to pick up what you need and get out.
Great grocery store with new hand held scanners
Great floral dept- fresh flowers in the bathroom. Very nice touch.
Busy store. Too many under 18 cashiers. Always have to get someone to ring up beer and wine.
This is a really good Kroger with a health food section, the best around!
Im biased Id suppose, because this is my neighborhood Kroger & Im in there quite often. Which should tell you something 🙂...but theyre awesome!
This place is nasty. Good customer service, but the place is.... Messy.
Stopped in on the way home from work and picked up fresh blueberries, strawberries, cantaloupe, and pineapple, along with bakery - fresh, soft, bagels!
Always good employees when you need help and checking out with cashiers, and taking my GROCERIES to my car
They have what I want most of the time, its easy to find, and the employees are helpful!
Click list manager Justin was very helpful when I came in!!
Great and very clean store, my kids love the free fruit the do.
Good selection.good prices. awesome location
I think this is a pretty average Kroger location. Good selection of quality products at fair prices. I still prefer Publix, mostly because Publix has sub sandwiches made to order (with optional online ordering!). They would earn a fifth star if they could have actually have baskets at the south entrance more than 1 out of 10 visits. The basket holder is empty almost every time while the north entrance, where they get stocked after checkout, has TWO HUGE STACKS. All it would take is for an employee to move one stack to the other entrance every once in a while. How management never notices that or doesnt notice me carrying my empty basket past everyone working up front to put it in the empty south basket holder as I walk out at least once per week is beyond me.
What a delightful store with helpful employees very clean and well laid out and maintained
Worst store ever! Cant keep products in stock and on shelves. Has been this way since I moved here in early 2015. Emailed corporate only to be told it is because they dont have enough room in back to store stuff and only get truck on Monday or Tuesday. You would think they could get another truck on Friday?!?! Bad management in the ordering department!!
Great place to buy. Great location and friendly staff
I’m relocating from Texas and visited this location which is near my new address. The store is clean and produce fresh. However, the guy in fish department name “Taylor” was extremely rude and very unprofessional. I asked for a whole salmon to be filet and skinned and he brought me back one piece of filet salmon with skin on and said that he was not able to skin the entire fish. I looked puzzled based on his no tolerance expression and refused the fish. He snatched the fished from the counter that he had wrapped and tossed in trash, then took it out of trash and placed in open fridge bin for sell. I will never shop that department again. Very unsanitary and scary.
