Arrived at this place at 2030 and they had just turned the lights out and closed. I’m so disappointed because I wanted to try it for the first time and their hours are completely wrong. Changing your hours on google has to be the easiest thing a business can do and they weren’t even able to do that. I won’t even try to come back because that tells me everything I need fo know about the business. You lost business today and I hope you’re aware and that you can at least change your business hours so the next people who attempt to come here aren’t disappointed and have their time waisted.

I dont think I have the time to list all of the pros for this awesome place, but I do have a minute to list some cons.. oh the headache I get while trying to decide what to get, the extraordinary amount of flavors available, not only that but theyre all too good to battle in my head. My only other con is that its really hurting my wallet.

My wife LOVES this place! Prices are fair and the selection is good. She is very picky and says this is the best italian ice she has had since she was a kid in Jersey

The rainbow Italian ice takes me back to growing up in New York. Spot on flavor and consistency.However, the main prize goes to Michael, the owners son. He was so welcoming, informative, and personable. We had a good 15 minute conversation and he was so polite and genuinely like interacting with customers and doing his job. Wonderful job!

Everything is great. So many flavors are exceptional (spumoni, chocolate brownie, almond joy, cherry chip, cry baby sour mix). Finally ventured to coconut flavor, while not something particularly into - it is simply superb and absolutely perfectly made.Brings samples back, pls. Covid shmovid.

Coming from New York its always been hard to find an Italian ice place in Florida but this place is legit it hits the spot the italian ice are great.

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST!I always had a very different idea of what Italian ice was.. boy was I wrong. We haven’t had any flavor we disliked. The shop is clean, all of the staff are friendly, informative, and personable. Prices are great, honesty I feel like they undercharge! We love how this shop is family owned and you can tell they care about the product they put forth!This is always our spot to take visiting family and friends who we find out haven’t been before! You’d be crazy to skip a visit!

We have been going to Flava Shack for a good 20 years. In Port Richey and now Spring Hill. It is our favorite place to go and we order at least 4 quarts, several times a week. Always have new flavors, and vegan options! Thanks Mike to you and your family.

Wow. I love this place. Family owned and freaking awesome in every way. The ices are homemade and there are so many yummy flavors. Also, there is always something new to try. Experimental, traditional and super fun flavors. I am addicted. Definitely, try new flavors. You will be pleasantly surprised!

This place is so good !!! You have to try it to even understand what Im saying. Its clean, theres many different flavors to choose from. They even have wine infused Italian ice now its delicious. You wont be disappointed. My kids love this place

I got me a big ole mfing quart of Arnold Palmer Italian ice and it almost killed me but it was the best quart of Italian ice I have ever had. That thing was cheap too. Staff is great. Lots of different options

The BEST Coconut Italian Ice we have ever had. A HUGE variety to choose from, very clean, friendly staff, and great prices. You have to try it. We are definitely coming here from now on. EXCELLENT!

Italian ice is ok. But, the staff were some of the rudest people I’ve ever come across. Finished my Italian ice and was enjoying a chat with my wife and was approached by a staff member. Who would not give me his name. He told me that “this is not a coffee shop” and that if I wasn’t going to purchase anything additional that I pretty much needed to leave. I was stunned. The owner really needs to do some work on hiring people that have attitudes more equipped for the service industry. Sad.

I went into the Flava Shack on the 12th. The staff was very informative and friendly. I got the Chocolate Cherry flavored ice, absolutely out of this world. It reminded me of the ice back in New York! Thanks guys!

Place was amazing! i was in there yesterday with a blonde woman who didn’t order anything when she said she would which i heard myself. She sat there for 2 hours and didn’t once get ready to close up to leave if these emails were so URGENT why couldn’t you go home and do them?

I went in Friday night on the 12th and this young man waited on me and very nice and courteous and i got the most delicious ice. It brought me back to New York! Thanks Guys!

My favorite place ever. I was reading reviews about people bashing them because of WiFi, I mean really, this is an Italian Ice business. I wouldnt feel comfortable with someone sitting for hours at a time not making a purchase, way to many things going on in this world not to wonder what your doing. Sorry, but I stand by them making sure they have a paying customer.... It is not an internet Cafe. My children love this place and we want to sit when we enjoy our ice....so yes move it, paying customers come first!!!!!

I have been there twice and still cant believe the variety... I was brave and tried the Gelati... Super impressed. Vanilla cold serve with brownie shaved ice... I am beyond satisfied with their quality... Go here... Go often ... You can get every thing to take home, and they offer a Bottom of the Barrel as well. Everything tastes as described and they have new flavours announced on Facebook every week... Awesome authentic shaved ice and more!

Yikes. Glad I read reviews. My kids usually like coming here after I drag them to target but very upset to see the mistreat and response to a professional by the owner. I sure won’t be bringing my kids here anymore after seeing this. Can’t imagine how my kids would be spoken to if a professional was mistreated this way. And quite the response from the owner when speaking to the general public on an open forum.

Not very impressed. The Gelati only comes in one size, a huge pint for $5.50. Seems silly you cant get a smaller size and I had to throw half of mine away as I just couldnt eat it all in one sitting. Italian ice is not as smooth as other places Ive been to, like Jeremiahs down south. Also didnt have swirl soft serve ice cream, which seems odd for an ice cream shop. Would not consider coming back unless they changed menu to allow smaller serving for their Gelati, as it was a waste of money.

Horrible experience here yesterday. I walked in at 1:35pm trying to find a spot to send some quick, but urgent work emails. The place was empty and I asked the one employee behind the counter if they happened to offer WiFi. He said yes and provided me with the network/password. I thanked him and promised to buy everything under the sun after I got online explaining that I was up against a deadline and had just ran in to internet issues at target, McDonald’s, etc before coming here. He laughed, told me it was not a problem at all, and assured me not to worry about it.Fast forward half an hour. I begin putting away my computer intending to make a purchase and leave when a man who was at the counter ordering with his wife comes up to me and demands to know if I’ve purchased anything. He tells me that I need to leave immediately since I’m not a paying customer. That I’ve been there for over 2 hours (not true). That this is not a home office. And just goes on and on yelling at me before I can even get a word in. I look at the one staff member confused and he is speechless as well. I ask if he’s the owner and he says “I have the owner on the phone and told him I’d get you out”. I was confused and pretty alarmed by this older mans aggression so I get up and walk out. As I’m exiting a lady with two little kids (only other patrons during my visit) looks at me and says “omg I’m so sorry that just happened.”So ya...I wouldn’t suggest spending your money here.RESPONSE TO OWNER: Yes, please check your cameras. I was there for half an hour. Your response as a business owner is frankly embarrassing. If you do not want people to use WiFi in your store, communicate with YOUR staff to not provide the info...? Pretty simple. And it goes without saying that having a random patron kick someone out is beyond inappropriate. I 100% intended to buy something, but obviously did not after being KICKED OUT. So I’m not sure what you mean about “the Italian ice is okay”, etc. I never commented on your ice, as I never had it. I don’t know who this man who appeared to be a patron was (not a good look for you) so I also didn’t comment on your “staff”. The young man behind the counter was polite.
