I saw the Mazda CX-5 online and contacted Angelo he was very helpful with providing me with information about the vehicle. After test driving it we fell in love with the car. There was a few minor problems with it however, the dealership fixed it and the car was almost looking bran new. The staff was very kind and helpful. Also their parking lot is full of good looking vehicles, but the Mazda CX-5 stuck out to us. I recommend checking out the place. Good deals, good looking cars, and welcoming staff.

I bought with them.My second car? They helped me too.My third and forth car? Yes, with them again.Why? Because when you buy something from someone who cares more about what you need than how much you have in your wallet that’s the type of place you should go back.They’re in the business to make money, but their prices are extremely competitive and do not expect low quality vehicles for low prices because this method is easy. In Houston area you’ll find thousands of cheap dealerships selling shady vehicles for low prices, junk auctions touched up cars, but not at Uptown.My first car was an Audi A4, Red. So beautiful. I told Narius when I was there, that was the cleanest/newest used car I’ve seen. It’s got 94k miles when I bought it, you won’t believe when you see it I’ll post photos so y’all can check it out.I sold it with over 100k miles to a guy from Beaumont for only 1k less than I paid. 1 year after.They don’t buy trash, that’s it. They buy good cars only. How do I know? My 5th car will be from Uptown Imports again, and I never had any problem whatsoever. Mechanically, cosmetically, nothing. While, another car that I bought from AutoNation in Dallas had a Clean Carfax at the time of purchase, but right after registering when the CarFax got updated BOOM there was the “damage reported to the front”. My fault? Yes, maybe I should’ve ordered a PPI, but you know what? I don’t need to order a PPI when buying from Uptown Imports. Really good job from AutoNation on hiding their problems with professional touch up then, well.. not disclose it.That’s the car business, they all do that, but I never had any of these shady business practices at Uptown Imports. It might be because this is a family-owned and operated dealership so they don’t to mess up with their customers because they know people will come back and buy from them again and also refer to friends. They take care of what they built, and purchasing reliable cars might reduce their risk of having problems.Narius (the owner) is extremely honest, his family and his team are super nice people and I’m happy to have over 5 years of relationship with them.I had to temporarily move from Texas to Colorado for business, then Washington State and guess what... I still buy from them. When I was moving I sold one of my cars (From Uptown imports too) and I was looking for a new one to make my way north, I called Narius (owner and friend) because I fell in love with one of his cars available at that moment, and he turned me down, lol he said “no, this won’t work for you, you’re heading north you need a 4x4 or at least AWD, and what I currently have here won’t work for you, I’ll find something if you could wait a little bit, but if you need it right away I won’t let you buy because it won’t help you up north”.That’s basically the reason why I never stop buying from Uptown Imports.That’s why when I’m looking for a car I call Narius and he makes it, even if they don’t have what I want in their inventory, he gets. If you want something very specific and you don’t want to deal with other dealerships like in my case I was once looking for a car extremely specific, very few available nationwide, he called the dealership, he negotiated, he got a better deal to buy the car and then sell to me for a even better price and better conditions.If you already have a dealership where you can be friend of the owner, keep it. But if you don’t have one which you can call someone you trust without games and the hassle of negotiations, try this place, I mean my mom buys from them. This was by far the best car buying experience of my life. I’ve never purchased a car this swiftly before in my life. I had my eye on this 2014 Toyota Avalon Limited Hybrid for just about a week. Then called to see if they still had it. Spoke with Angelo went to see the car and was happy with what I saw! This was a local car and one owner at that I was excited! Furthermore it had the original sticker price of the car in the glove box with the original manuals as well. The car was in very good condition with very minor blemishes but that’s expected. I was primarily concerned with reliability but as a Toyota owner you know Toyota have little to no issues over the life of the car Respectively. Angelo was nice and greeted me and showed me the car and offered me to look at everything and allowed me to test drive the car. He also provided me with the auto check of the vehicle and it’s evident that this car was indeed a one owner vehicle from Fred Haas Toyota. This car was so clean and drove like a brand new car had new tires and no warning lights or check engine lights on the dash. All in all you could tell the car was well maintained and cared for. I also checked the engine bay and it was clean as a whistle as well no apparent oil leaks or anything. I will definitely be back to purchase from Angelo and the Guys here at Uptown Imports.

That was a joke of an experience. I make an appointment to look at a Lexus the day before. The next day I call them to let them know Im on my way. I get there and the car is falling apart. It wouldnt even move and the engine sounded like it was about to explode. Mercifully they didnt let me take it for a test drive (not that I would have). Completely wasted my time and they were not even apologetic about it. They had an attitude of like.. what? S* happens!Nah.. you really must have a car checked by a mechanic before you sell it, or at least make sure the engine can start lolNope, very unprofessional.

When we were approved they raised the price up then I told them that wasn’t the price that was told. Angello claimed he never did offer a lower price. I sent a screen shot and he then said oh well that offer was for cash only which was never talked about. Lot of excuses. Absolutely untrustworthy. Not worth your time. If you want reputable and honesty don’t go here. They don’t want to do business with us. Got off the phone. The manager didn’t like that he didn’t get away with his lie. If you don’t look at things carefully they will do what they can to take what they can. I am glad we will not be doing business with them. A 1 star is not low enough.

I was looking for a car for my college going son. Was looking for something affordable, yet reliable. Uptown Imports was able to find me exactly what I was looking for. Staff was super friendly and deal was done without any pressure or hassle. I’d recommend this place to everyone.

This post is a little long, but I wanted to accurately describe our whole experience....After searching the internet for the perfect first car to surprise our teenaged daughter for her birthday, I found the one at Uptown Imports. I called to confirm availability and ask about cash pricing discounts before making the hour-long drive to the dealership. I spoke with Narius, who was extremely helpful and understanding when I told him what I was looking for and how much I was willing to spend. Most dealerships I called would not discuss pricing over the phone, instead wanting you to come in and take a look first, but Narius willingly spoke with me about pricing and even agreed to sell the vehicle at a lower price than what was listed online (which was already a very reasonable price compared to other dealerships). I set up a time to test drive the vehicle, which was pulled out and and ready for me to drive when I arrived. After the test drive, I told Narius that I liked the vehicle, but was concerned that the brakes felt too spongy. He did not hesitate to state that he would take the vehicle to the mechanic that day to have the brakes checked, and that even if I did not buy it, it was still a safety concern that needed to be addressed before he would sell the vehicle. (He also took the time to show me a couple of other vehicles on the lot that he though might interest me). Later that evening he called and left a message to let me know that the brake master cylinder was being replaced, and that once the vehicle was returned to the lot he would test drive it himself before calling me to return for a second test drive. The next day I called and spoke to Angello for an update on the vehicle and informed him that it would be a couple of days before I could make it back up there for a second test drive. He was very polite and understanding, and confirmed that the vehicle would be cleaned, inspected, and ready to go prior to my arrival (they were also kind enough to place a courtesy hold on the vehicle for me without even having a deposit). I spoke with Angello over the phone a few more times prior to my second visit to the dealership, and each time he was very professional and courteous. When my husband and I drove back to the dealership for the second test drive, the vehicle had already been cleaned and inspected and was parked up front and ready for us. As promised, the brakes felt like new, and we made the final decision to purchase the vehicle. While Angello prepared the paperwork, he had one of the workers rinse and dry the vehicle again since it had gotten a little dirty from the rain the night before. The paperwork took less than 20 minutes to prepare and sign, and we were out the door with two sets of keys and our daughters new (to her) car. The whole experience with Uptown Imports, Narius, and Angello was phenomenal! Not once did I feel like I was being lied to, rushed, or pressured into buying a vehicle. What I got from this experience was professionalism, honesty, great communication, exceptional service, a very nice used vehicle, and the happiest daughter in Texas! Thank you so much Narius and Angello! We were able to pull off the perfect surprise, and our daughter absolutely loves her new car!!

We found this car online at Uptown Imports. We had to drive almost 2 hours to get there. Angelo Lanza kindly welcomed us. We found our car way in the back of this tiny car lot. Angelo said there was no problem getting it out. Before my coffee was done he had it ready for our test drive.We obviously loved the car and was able to make a fair deal. We came with preapproval papers which at large car lots would have been fine but for a small place like this, they were not equipped to deal with it on a Sunday. We was stuck and would have had to come back but Angelo and the owner worked with us so we could drive our car home that day. We had no problem with them finalizing our loan and paperwork.Oh, Angelo had our new car washed before leaving.Great customer service.

From the moment I walked into their dealership, I was immediately greeted by Angello, who was amazing throughout the process. I test drove my car, liked it and finally bought it. Truck I was looking at had multiple issues, salesperson I had talked to on the phone conveniently wasnt there when I showed up at the agreed time, wouldnt budge on the price at all even when I am out there crawling under the truck showing them multiple leaks, truck had been poorly repainted in spots, interior had missing and damaged pieces. Their solution to this was, well sit down and we can finance you a Porsche for 30k. Yeah Im gone, place has shady repair practices in their little shed behind the office, just fixing what they have to just to make a sale.

Found a car I was interested in at this lot. Kelley Blue Book value was around $5K. Dealership wanted over $7K for it. I went to check it out in person, in hopes the price was negotiable (since I was paying cash). Car had more cosmetic damage than I had expected, and the A/C seemed to be struggling to stay cold. I pointed out the issues to the salesman, and told him Id be willing to pay $5K cash for it (which is still more than the car is probably worth). He told me that was low, but asked me to come inside to see if we could work something out. He pulled the old I have to go check with my manager routine, and came back and said the lowest they could go was $6800. I told him no, thanks and walked. I get the feeling they price their cars high, to take advantage of buyers with bad credit. I have no problem going somewhere else to buy a car. Forget them!

Picked up a nice 2000 Porsche 911 that needed a little TLC @ the right price for the COVID summer. Plan on making some memories with the kids, who are just small enough for the back seat.

It was nice that they allowed you to test drive. The car was nice and new, minor dent in door. Someone left a filthy old hat in the back seat. Even though I heard,I guess he was the boss, tell the other guy to make sure that the car was ready, and obviously it was not, or else the hat would have been there. I did not like the fact that they sold me a vehicle that I needed to get a oil change literally a week after, even though the oil change sticker said it wasnt due for another 2 months he did not tell me anything about needing to get oil changee, my car was making a clicking noise just to find out later that I needed engine oil and I was basically empty on that. So whoever put the oil change sticker on the vehicle either had the date wrong and the miles wrong or the person that sold me the vehicle messed up because he did not tell me that I needed to get an oil change after buying the vehicle. This is very dangerous to drive when you are out of engine oil. Wish I looked at the dip stick for the engine oil right after I bought this. Drove 500 miles just for engine oil to be at the lowest and driving around with an annoying ticking sound all day.

Went to look at a few cars I was seriously interested in, and was not treated like the serious buyer. Could not test drive a 996 I came to look at, which ended up in worse shape than appeared online and overpriced.

Honestly from the moment I arrived at this dealership I was treated like an actual person unlike all the other places I had been to that day. My mom loves him, every time we think about buying another car she asks me to call Narius at Uptown.I don’t know what you look for when purchasing a vehicle, but my major concern is about what’s hidden and I can’t tell just by looking at it.You won’t see flooded vehicles at Uptown, you won’t see vehicles with known mechanical issues being offered, even though buying a used car means being exposed to future maintenance and repairs as part of its natural wear and tear, but I doubt you’d be able to buy a vehicle from Uptown with any problem known by them, but hidden from you.Uptown is great to work with and Narius always gave me straightforward advices on what to take and what to avoid.This is a family-owned and operated business for years reliably serving the community, and one of the best benefits you can have in life after having a lawyer and a doctor in your family is to have a car guy as a friend. They have a bunch of nice sports cars in there. Only one muscle car but it was a GT500 Shelby. Theres a Maserati in there and some other sports cars. Great prices on them cars.

I didnt know that Wally, the owner of Uptown Imports wasnt aware of the issues that we had with the truck we purchased from his lot. He contacted me personally when he seen my total disgust with my buying experience there. We discussed the issues that we were having & he took the appropriate steps in getting everything resolved. Had the truck fixed & even gave my son a loaner while it was in the shop. If you want to make sure everything is on the up & up, be sure & talk to Wally first! Actually, it would probably be better if you just dealt with him directly! Thanks for your attention to the matter Wally!
