Had Honda towed here after a coworker recommended this place. I was told starter replacement would only take a day but that was almost not likely as the car arrived in the afternoon. To my surprise the work was done right away and my car was back to working condition right before they closed. The shop offered to stick around after 5 if I needed a little more time to pick up. Great service and very satisfied! Will use again.

I would recommend everyone go to R&E whenever you have a car issue based on my experience today.My car recently had been making noises when I turned the stirring wheel and it worried me this could lead to bigger issues. I searched out a five-star review nearby R&E to take a chance. The machinist took a quick out drive and came back, raised my car and quickly spotted a missing bolt and another guard-pin on the stirring-rack. With another technician’s help, he put in a new bolt and tied up the nut and done! You know what was the next? He did not charge me a penny 🤩 I insisted to pay for what they had made the effort, but he told me that they usually don’t charge small things like this… he said to me “we welcome you come to our shop and recommend us to your friends... customer satisfaction is our goal” I was deeply moved by his honesty, professional attitude, focus, experience and quick turnaround! Trust me, this auto repair shop is the best 👍👍🌹🌹🌟🌟

My car’s driver side window was stuck. When i went to his shop, he immediately found out it was due to a piece of debris and fixed it for free. I found him very honest and friendly. I highly recommend them.

I have been looking for a mechanic like this for YEARS. Good, honest, quality work, and very timely. They really take care of you and the staff is great. My repairs have all been same-day turnaround so far and you cannot beat the price! This will be my one and only mechanic from here on out. As a bonus, they have a couple of dogs on the place and the big German shepherd is very sweet, gentle and friendly.

These guys have the most professional pride and integrity Ive ever encountered in a mechanic. I dropped my car off with them first thing in the morning (without an appointment), and they called me with a diagnosis before I even made it back home. Unfortunately, the total diagnosis was that my car was better off being traded in, but I very much appreciated the honesty they had in letting me know the necessary fixes werent worth my money instead of letting me pour money into a hopeless cause. On top of that, the owner and all of the employees were incredibly kind and polite, even remembering my name when I called to tell them I was on my way to pick the car up two days later. They were recommended to me, I highly recommend them in turn, and I will absolutely return in the future when Im in need of a mechanic!

These guys are hands down the best around town, asked them if they could take in my truck to repair the motor mount, now it’s my work truck so I needed it done that same day, they said no problem. They got me in and out in less than 5 hours, with all new motor mounts and transmission mount. They work with you on pricing and payment as well. They are really friendly, with quality service, will take all my cars here for repairs.

Ive used R&E for years and theyve always been great to me. Elad is honest and reasonable. My only complaint is, no bathroom.

Called and inquired about preventative maintenance service on my vehicle and they actually were able to squeeze me in right away. Dropped the vehicle off, went thru brief paperwork, and immediately started working on my vehicle. Had me out of there in an hour and at a very fair price. Will definitely be back in the future.

They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, economical, and, best of all, they will not rip you off!Theyve kept my sons car on the road - and they clearly tell me what does or does not NEED to be fixed. They understand when a kid is on a limited budget but needs his car. It is always presented in terms of well, if it was my sons car I wouldnt bother with this, but youve got to do that.Theyve also done great work on my car - so I highly recommend them.

Do not go anywhere else! The owners are super duper nice, they go into detail of what exactly needs to be done to fix your vehicle, complete transparency so you don’t ever have to worry about having extra hidden fees and or random fixes on things you didn’t know about. I needed the AC in my car fixed because it wouldn’t blow cold air, they told me what the issue was and even showed that wherever I went to last time they put the filter in wrong because it was totally bent and it was black. They then showed me how it was supposed to look: an actual square shape 😂 and white. I love how they help you learn more about your car so you don’t go about being ignorant your entire life and risk being swindled by another auto shop.Great prices too!! Definitely would recommend.

This was hands down the best oil change/car repair experience Ive ever had. My oil change experience was the fastest Ive ever had, and the wait was made incredibly pleasant. In explaining the problems with my car, at no point was any member of the staff pushy or salespitchy. When I decided to make the repairs, they were finished with my car same day and way beneath their projected time table. I appreciated their cautiousness in their ETA, but they truly exceeded my expectations when it came to efficiency. I am very happy to have chanced upon this shop, and you will be too.

I went in to get my oil change and I didnt even have to ask them to let me watch as I was previously advised to make sure that my oil filter was changed as well, but the guy there asked me to watch him and made me feel at home and went beyond what was expected. He showed me a few things about my car and also did a general check to make sure everything looked good. I was most definitely pleased and will be coming back!

R&E was recommended to me by a friend that had used them in the past and Ive been going to R&E Auto for just over a year for a variety of things. The owner worked on my AC last summer. The AC worked so well after until I went to use it again when the weather warmed up again. I took my car back to R&E and the owner fixed my AC again for free because he WARRANTIES HIS WORK! The owner and his wife are always friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. The owner always takes time to show me where the problem is on my car and explain things to me. He is very trustworthy and I recommend him HIGHLY!

The brake light was on for a year and where to get it fixed was driving me.A friend recommended R&E auto repair. Now, this will be where I take my car in the future. Last fall, the brakes were taken care of and this spring the front end was overhauled. It’s almost like driving a new car.Elad, Brannon and the crew will explain and show you what’s wrong without trying to scare you into getting work done. When the work was completed the old parts were shown.It’s easy to drive past R&E on Rayford Road, it’s well worth it to slow down and make the turn for half a block.

Ive been here twice now. Elad is an awesome guy and a great honest mechanic. When you find a place like this you need to hang on to it. I had my Honda fixed there a few months back and when one of the same gaskets failed again he fixed it free of charge and gave me a great deal on some other repair work I needed done.

This shop is a hidden gem. We have used them several times now and have been very impressed with each visit. No waiting, very detailed information on work to be done and very good prices. I came over from a referral from an inspection. I had an issue with my driver side tail light. Literally, I pulled up, Elad came out, quickly helped and figured out the issue and replaced my bulb in a few minutes (no charge!). Really nice guy, Ill be back for sure for any other auto needs. I drove all the way there and the place just looked deserted, I called and someone came out just to tell me they dont know why that person told me they do transmission work cause they dont... OK but sir the website also states transmission repair. I wish I could give no stars!

I am so happy to have been referred to R & E when my car had a significant oil leak. I was shown all the causes of the leak, given a fair estimate of repair costs, and the problem was fixed the next day. Recently, I had another problem with my car that Mr. Elad found and fixed within 20 minutes. My 10 year old car has been running like new ever since! Friendly and trustworthy service, reasonable cost, and - most importantly - repairs that improve vehicular performance are the reasons I recommend R & E to my friends.

I cant attest to the quality of their work, but because they gave me a straight answer that a lot of other mechanics dont seem to like to give, I felt the need to give praise. What they said was: We havent really worked on Minis.Id much rather be turned away for work by an honest man than met by a mechanic who lies his way into my pocket. They came to hospital. They stayed until they figured out what was wrong. They left to go get a part and came back to fix it. They went over and above. I will never take my car anywhere else.

Cant say enough great things about Elad and his crew.Im relatively new to Houston, and was very concerned about finding a good, reliable mechanic.Heard about Elad from rave reviews on Nextdoor.The other reviews have already talked about the quality of his work, and the very reasonable prices. (I would say theyre actually unreasonable, in that theyre so low for the care and time he puts into the work.) So, right off, quality work, good pricing, is what everyone looks for, but is very hard to find. These guys handle that right off the bat.The reason Im adding another 5-star review to already over a hundred reviews, is to share my personal experience.We originally reached out to via Facebook, after hours, about 7PM on a weeknight. We got a message back within about 15 minutes, along with Elads personal cell number.After some back-and-forth, because of some schedule conflicts the next day (our side, not his), he met us at the shop at about 8PM.That service went off without a hitch. I believe I actually mentioned some other minor issues when I went to pick up the car. He took care of some on the spot, without charge. The other things would take more work and time, so we agreed to address those next time.Since that first service, I took another car in, one with an ongoing power steering problem. Literally a problem that has been going on for about 3 years, and where Id easily paid thousands of dollars for repairs that never actually fixed the problem.The team fixed it, for admittedly another couple thousand. But that was mostly for the parts, and I was happy to pay for the labor of basically taking apart my whole front steering, and putting everything back together.Unfortunately, I did have to go back a second time for the steering problem. But, that wasnt the shops fault. It was another issue that would not have been known if not for the work done the first time.Elad and his team fixed the issue, at no charge. Because they said it was under warranty from the first time.Again, this borders on unreasonable, in my favor. Im not sure the second issue WAS related to the original work.Oh, by the way, its not just that the owner is looking out for his own business. When I went to pick up my car, I was actually about 15 minutes late, after theyd closed. The mechanic was still there, closing up. So he took the time to explain the work theyd done, and the reason for the issue.Honestly, just because the mechanic seemed to not be in a hurry, I told him that the Check Engine light had come on a few weeks ago. Didnt really expect him to do anything about it. But he promptly went inside to get the code reader, and then took about 15 minutes to explain the codes to me, and reset them. Again, at no charge to me.I cannot say enough good things about this business. Truly an example of a business staying in business by keeping prices low, service high, and depending on honest word-of-mouth from VERY happy customers.

I was recommended R&E by my father who goes in quite a bit and is very picky about his auto work. Elad does very good very fast work. I brought my car in after hydroplaning and crashing into a median and he was able to fix up my front left tire damage in a few short days. Also fixed my AC which in the summer time was not working right and it was killing me. Elad is very friendly and happy to help, just stopped in today to get my freon replaced and he talked with me in the short time it took the machine to work. I didnt even have to be without my car. I will definitely come back every time I need something fixed A++

They charge you a fair amount for the work they do (unlike most dealerships I have dealt with), and do phenomenal, consistent work.When the dealership wanted to charge me $200 for a part that they didnt have to fix my car to pass inspection, I went straight here on a recommendation and they fixed it for less than half the price on the spot.My wife and I have been going here for over two years for all our automotive needs amd will go nowhere else.Thank you R & E! Found R&E on nextdoor neighbor, took my truck here for an oil pan gasket change. Elad is very nice and honest. He charged me 1/2 the cost of what I was quoted from other shop. We use him again in a heartbeat. He took the time to be sure that is what the issue was and even put in the air to show me. He took before and after pictures.

My Pilot needed the windshield replaced right before we were supposed to go on vacation and they were able to do the repair the next morning and had my car ready to go earlier than I expected.
