I bought a door for our home from Amador Iron Works. The ordering process was painless. Our salesman was knowledgeable and helpful and the office staff was excellent.On installation day our installer ran out of daylight and the following day I noticed a problem with the threshold. I took a photo of the area of concern and sent it to the office. In short order I was contacted by the owner of the company. He told me he had seen the photo I sent and there were other items he was not happy with. A follow-up appointment was made and the threshold alignment was corrected as were other issues I probably would never have noticed.The owner visited my home twice during this process to make sure I was happy. I told him that since he saw things I didnt it was probably more important that HE was happy.The door is absolutely beautiful. Its heavy and operates smoothly. The craftsmanship is superb. The factory does an excellent job. They take pride in their work and it shows.We looked around at other door companies. You can pay more but I dont see how you could possibly get a better door at any price..Great product. Great people. Five stars!

Amador Iron Works is the place to get your iron door you will be very HAPPY! Customer service excellent I had a couple of flaws but they were able to fix them. Mrs. Cynthia, the owner is awesome she listen to my concerns and she took care of them with out any hesitation. She called to follow-up and it cant get any better than that. Kirk is the man he was my salesmen and he had me sold! Then what ever design you want they can draw you get the proof to make sure you like it. I purchased two doors and my next project for my other door Amador Iron Works will be doing it. If you have a problem just speak up and they will fix it. We absolutely love our new forged iron doors from Amador. After shopping around, Amador was the only one that custom designed exactly what we wanted as compared to selecting a predesigned style from other companies. Both crews (brickwork and door installer) were awesome and did a great job. The doors are beautiful and completely changed the look of the house. Amador did great quality work.

My husband selected Amador Iron Works after much research. He worked with them to create a front (third picture with me in it)door and a back door (first picture) that would be beautiful and secure. The staff at Amador was fabulous and went above and beyond to make sure that the doors were EXACTLY what we wanted. When the doors were delivered, Dre (installer) showed up on time and very professional. He did a fabulous job installing both doors even suggesting that he come out a second day to do the back door because of time. Loved the fact that he didnt just rush through the job. He was polite, professional and knowledgeable about the doors and installation. I highly recommend Amador and Dre for your door replacement needs. The doors have been on my house for a week and have already had many people compliment them!

When I called Amador Iron Works, I explained that we are not the original owners of the house or the ones who originally purchased the incredible door they made for the house. One of the owners, Roy immediately started investigating our situation.He went right to work to find out more about the door and helped me discover which owner actually purchased the door. But also informed me it was still under warranty and come out immediately to service the door.Then, you sent one of your service technician out the same day I called. He called me before he arrived and took care of my issues within minutes.This is what I call OUTSTANDING customer service. I will recommend your company in the future. I am so impressed you stand by your work. Also, you followed up with a phone call to ensure all was taken care of.Congratulations on a JOB WELL DONE!

Amador has been a delightful experience for my clients and I. They installled a beautiful double door for one client and repaired an existing door for another. Everyone at Amador was very helpful and professional and the finished product gorgeous. I would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again in the future.

I bought doors five years ago, they did a great job it took a while to get the doors because I had custom sizes, I recommend let them install I try installing one door and then call them to come install they are heavy we just bought another home and just order 4 doors one is 14 foot tall with transom, My personal opinion I like wood but wife likes iron doors

I replaced my front and back doors with wrought iron doors from Amador. They look amazing and I am completely satisfied. Dre, our installer was prompt and efficient! It changes the whole look of the house! Good job!

Ordered a custom iron door which my wife designed.It took a couple months (because it is custom) but the wait was worth it!The installation was done professionally. We switched from a single door with double sidelights to a double door. The fit was perfect. We got exactly what we wanted & actually saved money compared to other manufacturers.

We had a custom double door and large window created by Amador Iron Works. It took a while to have it built, but was well worth the wait. We love the door and they have been excellent with customer service. Any time we needed anything adjusted or done to our satisfaction they were out quickly. I would definitely recommend them for any of their iron work and plan on having them do other work for us.Sorry, dont know where this asystolic Heart came from when I did the review. The front doors turned out more beautiful than expected. Beyond excited!! The installer - Dre - was very professional, took his time to make sure it was installed properly and everything in working order before he left. Great people to work with.

Ive used these guys twice( both times had controversy over late delivery) but the design was awesome. They also have paint issues but after 3 times, they did get that right . Unfortunately this time they were way high but offered to match pricing so we agree . We added a 3rd door and then the pricing went back up. Kirk, the salesman, had to ask Roy the owner and they decided to not honor their word. We did decide to move on but not until Kirk decided to call me a scam artis .(definitely funny since he did the ole bait and switch explaining he was on straight commission) Frustration over a door is not in my life plan...I do not recommend these guys at all

Installation didnt go smoothly yesterday...but it wasnt because of the installer, Andre. It was because our doorway wasnt square. Andre was fantastic. He and his helper worked hard for about 12 hours to complete the installation.They started by covering the area with plastic to minimize dust, and covered the floor for protection. They carefully pulled off the trim inside as we wanted to keep the inside look. They took note of placement of the alarm contacts and then pulled off the old door. Once they had the original frame off Andre pointed out the doorway was out of square and talked with us as to how we wanted to continue. He suggested to trim a little of the stucco on one side to help straighten the frame. (Not the easiest way out.) He did a beautiful job. Once finished it looked like it had always been there...but this time the doorway was square... and, no gaps on the sides of the door...it is perfect! Thank you!A craftsman like Andre is difficult to find these days. He takes pride in his work ... extremely skilled in many crafts. Andre wont settle; he does exemplary work. He is more of an Artist among fine Craftsmen! Thank you for sending him out to install our door.The door and the installation is just as promised by your salesman: it looks just like our original wood door. As you warned, it did take some time to get the door in as it was manufactured in Mexico. And I heard your quality control sent back the first door. This one is perfect.We are very pleased with both Armadors quality iron door and Andres installation.Thanks, again,Melissa Farrell

Roy Prince offers excellent customer service. We have 3 sets of French doors and 1 single door which we love for the security as well as the beauty. Its a process that sometimes takes a while, but the results are worth it. We also had rust spots appear about the 3rd year, but as the doors were approaching the 5-year warranty period, Amador took care of the problem by sanding and spraying all of them to our satisfaction. They look beautiful and new again. We have recommended Roy and Amador to many of our neighbors who have also installed these lovely doors and we know they have passed the word to their friends. So glad we found this company!

Door is beautiful but their customer service with minor issues is HORRIBLE! They wont call you back. We cant get our issue resolved and it has been several weeks. We want/need three more doors for our house but will find another business due to poor service.

My husband and I love our double iron doors and large upper window. We have referred several friends and neighbors to this company.1. Our upper window fogged shortly after installation. You could see the fogged glass from the street. It looked extremely dirty all the time. However, they did replace it, and it looks great.2. Our double iron doors were rusting! I thought they were powder coated and this wasnt supposed to happen. We have had our doors for about 3 years. It started rusting about 1 year after the installation. We called Roy, and the problem was resolved.I would recommend Adooring Designs.

After agreeing on price to paint my iron doors, I asked for copy of their General Liability insurance. I had not spoken before to owner. She called inquiring why I would ask for insurance and then declined to accept the job. I guess she believes people that ask for insurance are obviously ill willed. I believe that contractors who are uneasy presenting insurance are not to be trusted.After review posted, owner Roy Prince called. He apologized for any misunderstanding. He explained that because of prior insurance issues, they are somewhat skeptical of prospects asking for insurance. I appreciated him taking the time to call and clarify.

I had Amador Iron Works (when they were Adoring Designs ) design two decorative outdoor wrought iron (powder coated) balconies for our second story home. We were very pleased with the product and the young man who designed and installed them was excellent. However, soon after installation, we began to see rust spots. The balconies were removed, the problem was corrected and they were reinstalled. It has been less than 5 years and the balconies have some serious rust on them and parts of the powder coating are peeling. I was extremely disappointed to learn that there was no warranty on these balconies- though most wrought iron balconies in my neighborhood are 40 years old and still look great. Since calling Amador, I have been very disappointed in the service I received. It was suggested that the balconies be refinished and painted - no mention of re powder coating- and I have been playing phone tag for the past few months to get the Amador Iron Works recommended painter out to look at the balconies.Very disappointed in service and the short life of the balcony powder coating.

I am still wondering how long i will have to wait for locks on my doors. 2 years people!

After some difficulty in the beginning with my iron gate, Amador Iron Works came though. The owner himself worked closely with me until the project was completed to my satisfaction. I will plan to use them again.

Designed a beautiful (and tricky with measurements) door. Took awhile and there were a few bumps along the way, but long after a delay is forgotten a great door remains.
