I was in the area searched for vinyl. Found Volume Music. Picked up a few RSD drops I hadnt found in HTX, and one I was going back for at 20% less than I had seen in HTX.I keep coming back, and keep returning. No attitude just good unobtrusive service. A respite from shops where the clerks think they’re the rock stars. In strip centre which has ample parking. I bit of a bike from inside the loop but, the experience is worth the drive.

Novice record collector and this was my first time in an actual record store. Giant collection, good prices, and the lady that runs it is super nice!

Sitting in front of the store…. Would be cool if they’d actually open at 12 (Sunday) like their website and the sign on their front door says…. I drove kinda far because it looked like they might have what I need. It’s almost 12:30 and I’m about to have to just leave. Thanks

I spent the day searching for a very specific record in the Spring, TX area and my last stop was at Volume Music. Customer service was great (owner actually greeted me and chatted unlike most of the other places I visited) AND she happened to have the exact vinyl I was looking for! Dracula ftw! This is my new favorite shop.

First visit to the store today and I would definitely return. Originally contacted looking for a few records in particular. One they had in stock and they were able to order me the other three and get them in very quickly. I really appreciated the cleanliness and layout of the store. Very easy to find what you are looking for. They had a great selection and more than a few gems I wasnt expecting to come across. Tiffany was incredibly welcoming, friendly, helpful and made some great recommendations. She clearly knows her music. Would recommend Volume to anyone looking for vinyl, cds and other cool various music items such as shirts and puzzles. Great atmosphere. Great music. Great people.

This place is a diamond in the rough. A huge selection of new & used records, cds, cassette tapes and even 8-tracks! If you like to hold your music in your hands then check this place out. The owner is super friendly and helpful as well and can probably get you that item you are looking for!

I visited this record store for the first time today and absolutely loved it. Tiffany is really helpful and sweet and was willing to spin up any used record I wanted to hear before buying it. We talked about what kind of music I was looking for and she helped me pick a few records and made some recommendations. The store has a really nice selection of both used and new, not as large as some other places but much more focused on quality. I absolutely will return again.

Ive been there plenty and theres always customers - that should tell you everything you need to know. Its nice having a real music store in The Woodlands. Very clean and organized!

Their used records seem overpriced here. Also, check for damage. My example: $8 on a bigger name 70s album with significant visible scratches and very beat up cover. Im not sure who would want such a scratched album for that price.

Great selection and great staff! Everything from obscure(ish) metal to pop to rap to country and everything in between. I love swinging in every once in a while just to see what’s new and available in the world of vinyl. They participate in Record Store Day so there are some especially obscure gems to be found. Plus, they can order you any album available. Super friendly people working every time I’ve been in too, and they take their mask/ sanitizing policy seriously (which I appreciate).

Last week I took my 80s crazy 13yro daughter to this place for her highly anticipated first record shop experience. 2 was before I got her a portable retro turntable and David Bowie compilation which blew her mind (cheapest entry into Dad of the year award). The shop had all the feels and totally met her expectations. The shopkeeper was well versed in her vinyl and made great suggestions for my daughter who dreams of using a DeLorean to see WHAM! and Hall and Oates live. One of her top pics was not in stock, which the website also indicated, so it was quickly ordered. As promised, they called today, which prompted me to leave this glowing review. Shops like these are hard to come by so Im glad there was one nearby. Bottom line, great shop, great selection (music, video, accessories and fan candy) and great service.

Cool new record joint across the street from Rookies Sports Bar and the Game Preserve Arcade. Ive found gems here, and there always seem to be new additions when I drop in. Going through their used sections makes me feel like Im a kid again--visiting Record Bar or Camelot Music back in the 80s. Friendly proprietor, good selection, retro ambiance. Well worth a visit.

Really happy to see a record store here in The Woodlands! I really enjoyed stopping in and I found a few nice albums to take home. I appreciate that the used albums are all cleaned before being sold. I cant wait to see the collection grow, hopefully with some stuff from Polyvinyl!

It’s one of my favorite record stores to go to in the woodlands/spring area. The owner is sweet and knows what to recommend for me whenever I want to listen to a new artist. Also has a great selection of used and new records, cassettes, and CDs. If you can’t find it don’t worry the owner can special order you the record you are looking for. I really recommend this place.

Friendly new record shop in The Woodlands. Not a huge selection as of yet, but it is a decent selection that is worth spending the time to look through. Nice to have a spot where you don’t have to drive to the Heights or downtown to peruse some records (new or used). Had a couple nice copies of punk classics (DKs, Sex Pistols, Black Flag Damaged 1st pressing) to make it interesting. Worth stopping in when in the area (and hit up Cade’s Boards while you’re parked at the shop!).
