Now that the project is finished, Julie and I want to personally thank you and the DWR staff for an excellent job. It was a great experience to work with Richard (Project Manager). He was very prompt in returning phone calls and expediting all requested activities. The project turned out to be more than Julie and I could have ever envisioned.

Whit and Chris concrete coated our patio and front porch. From the Consultation to the very ending it was PERFECTION, including the cleanup after. Very Professional and very knowledgeable. If there were 10 Stars to give, we would give it. We will now get ready and have our garage done also. Our Neighbors LOVE IT and are going to have work done also. Their office staff (Julie) was awesome to work with, made the transaction process very easy and she was very helpful with insight. Thank you DWR Concrete Coatings, we will see you again soon.

Our sales person Renee was very helpful. She discussed our options in detail about our kitchen and master bath remodel. Randall our project manager was very professional and attentive to our needs. The DWR team delivered an outstanding tub to shower conversion. Our salesperson, following an on-site review, listened to us and provided good suggestions to translate our vision to reality. The project supervisor coordinated with our schedule, kept us updated throughout, and was very courteous. The installation teams were quick, considerate, and kept dust and noise to a minimum. DWR exceeded expectations - we would recommend them to others and would use them again.

We had a small upstairs bathroom remodeled. Renee was our sales lady and guided us through the selections wonderfully. Carey was our project manager, and Luis Sr. & Jr. did the gutting and made that bathroom beautiful. We were impressed with DWR from the minute we walked through their showroom door. After scheduling the start date, they were finished in 9 days. We couldnt have asked for a better experience !!!

Previous 2010 large remodel adding 400 sf to home was excellent. Currently 2021, Renee who is excellent Designer, helped with tile, granite and color choices. Marshall overseeing/scheduling work is excellent also. Honest company with fair pricing. All affiliated trades, tile, paint, granite, plumbing and electrical were professional and first rate. 4 weeks for 2nd Floor Bath and replace carpet on stairs with Oak treads and matched stain to Oak paneling.

My wife and I decided to screen in our outdoor patio. After, searching for contractors we decided on DWR (Doing What Is Right). It was an outstanding choice and we consider ourselves fortunate in the uncertainty of spending a couple of thousand dollars to find a contractor giving us exactly what we wanted which was quality workmanship, materials, and reasonable expenditures. Most importantly, after our first visit to the store and meeting with a salesperson and management we felt that that we could “trust” them to fulfill our goal to enclose the patio. I cannot overemphasize the importance of the feeling of trust that led us to select them for the project. It was a sensing of reliability, truth, and conviction they were qualified for the project. We were not disappointed in the outcome. Their professionalism (onsite visit, explanation of milestones, in-process reviews, pre-meeting construction) are examples of the thoroughness of establishing a project timeline, delivery of materials, and the proficiency of sub-contractors for laying of tiles, screens and door installation. One is kept informed on the tasks and they seek feedback on the ongoing project. I be remiss in not mentioning the selection of materials available at their store. All major quality brands are available with samples for other projects such as bathroom fixtures, carpets, cabinet hardware, and so forth. Without hesitation, I strongly encourage and recommend one consider DWR for a project. As a minimum visit and learn their approach to a discussion on fulfilling your project goals.

Renee did a great job with our design and she was very easy to work with.DWR needs to work on hiring better subcontractors for plumbing etc. and scheduling their projects.

DWR were great. Carey our on-site project manager was fantastic at making sure all the details were taken care of. Renee our sales contact was great at helping us lay out the design picking colors and work with the insurance company.Our washer flooded downstairs and we had the laminate and old tile replaced along with water damaged kitchen cabinets and a new counter top install. Their guys were topnotch the tiling is spot on. The counter has the best joint matching i have ever seen. New cabinets well built with better than original materials. Very happy and recommend.

These guys are amazing!!! I needed a stand-alone shower repaired because it had a leaking issue. They were the only company I found who could fix the issue from start to finish, including all tile work and plumbing issues. Stephanie was so friendly, and the manager, Mike, helped us out with the insurance claim. They picked out tile that matched beautifully and finished the whole project quickly. Stephanie and the team kept constant communication with me through the whole process and always went above and beyond. Cannot speak highly enough of them, highly recommend!

This being my first home remodel, I had no idea what I was doing and was a little difficult to deal with. Renee was super professional and helped me through the process and made it fun and easy. Most importantly stress free and no pressure or up selling! I gave her my budget and she found beautiful options to stay in that price range. I can’t say enough positive comments about my experience with DWR. From the beginning when I worked with the design team to final walk through, every aspect of my renovation was positive. The renovation proposal was extremely thorough with no question about the scope of services. Change orders I requested during the project were incorporated without a flaw. The PM made sure my renovation moved along within the timeline that was initially set. I highly recommend DWR for any renovation/construction project.

Renee did a great job assisting us in our bathroom remodeling design. She had an abundance of suggestions which helped us in our decision making process. She was always prompt in getting back with us on any questions we had. The remodeling appears to be of good quality. The granite and tile people were very efficient and their work was high quality. Our project manager, Randall, was always very responsive. The only downside was the length of time that was lost waiting on plumbers. Overall, our bathrooms look great and we are pleased.

DWR gets an excellent review. This is due in large part to the DWR Project Manager who brought professionalism, courtesy, creativity, and great communication to the job. Most notably, the DWR PM was fully accountable for the below-standard work of a single sub-contractor that required remediation and caused delays. While I would ordinarily subtract a star, the commitment of the PM to get it right adds it back. I recommend DWR and would certainly use the company again.

We had a covered patio addition put on our house. It was a great experience. They finished ahead of schedule and were easy to get a hold of throughout the process if we had questions. I am beyond impressed at the quality of the work and their attention to keeping the work area clean at the end of each day.

I was really impressed by all of the positive reviews and was looking to remodel two bathrooms and replace flooring. I made an appointment for an estimate at the house but went to the showroom to look around before they came. I got a bad feeling right away when I walked in and saw no one on the staff wearing a mask in the middle of a pandemic. Then when I asked the lady up front if the man coming to my house could wear one, she said yes but her tone was annoyed and condescending. When Dustin came to the house he was very professional and I thought I would still go with this company and wasted my only afternoon off staying at the house while he was there. He left and said he’d be back in touch about the estimate. The next day I got a call from the woman up front saying that I had to come in in 8 days to get the estimate. When I asked if I could get it sooner and without coming in (because I work full time and I’ve already seen the showroom and even showed Dustin pictures of what I wanted) she said no because “that’s the way the owner has done it for 40 years and had good success”. I told her I understand but have never needed to be in person to go over an estimate. She said she’d ask Dustin and when I said thank you and goodbye, she just hung up without saying the same. Dustin did call me the next day and apologized so I was back on their side and he even apologized for the lady’s rude attitude, and said he’d call me in a couple of days with the estimate. This was a week ago and I have not received a call. Now I am having another company so thousands of dollars of work and they were able to give me an estimate over the phone in 1 hour! Save yourself the time and go elsewhere, especially if you don’t want Covid. As a business owner myself, I know this was horrible customer service.

DWR performed a major kitchen remodeling for us. The final product was exactly as we designed with DWR and while it was completed within the initial timing range DWR provided, it was closer to the outside of the range. All follow-up calls were immediate and professional.

We came to DWR to assist in out Patio/Outdoor kitchen design. Dustin was the design lead on our project, I cant say enough about how happy we are with the way Dustin worked with us and was able to create our dream patio. Me and my wife would highly recommend Dustin at DWR for any outdoor patio kitchen needs.

DWR was terrific from start to finish. They did a patio extension to include a gable-style roof and electrical work.All the crews were very respectful and did not significantly disrupt our day (or our neighbors). The patio extension was completed on the timeline originally proposed and they took care of all the HOA approvals. I would certainly use DWR for future projects!

We have had a great experience thus far with DWR. Our designer, Renee, has gone above and beyond to adjust our plans numerous times by our request, work within our desired budget, and give us her honest feedback when choosing the product for our new kitchen and bath. She designed the most gorgeous bathroom and helped me choose features that made it absolutely elegant.When it was time for construction, I met my project manager, Richard. He saw what needed to be done and took charge, making this experience outstanding. Every Tradesman he brought to my home was knowledgeable, hardworking and pleasant. They gutted the room and began the transformation. They did it, too. They did beautiful work.It is, without exception, the most exquisite room in my home. Renee is incredible. I dont think I could be happier with any part of my experience with her. Richard is amazing, too. He gave me his cell phone number and was always responsive and answered any questions I had, even the dumb ones.Now i want them to transform my kitchen. I am that impressed. Recently used DWR to redo a secondary bathroom. We had DWR remove the bathtub, and replace it with a walk-in shower. Renee was great in helping pick out the new additions of the shower. There were a few issues along the way, but we were definitely satisfied with the end result.

DWR just completed our master bath renovation and they did an OUTSTANDING job. The result is beautiful! Renee was so easy to work with and responded quickly to my questions. Carey, our project manager, was outstanding. He was here daily, and called or checked in to track the works and promptly appeared if an issue arose. We had a small post completion problem last week and he didnt hesitate to come resolve it. Each and every one of the tradesmen were skilled and talented craftsmen..Luis, Francisco, Rocky, Kevin. Yes, our routine was disrupted for several weeks and we are still chasing dust, but it was the best decision. They exceeded expectations. We have NO complaints and would definitely use DWR for future remodels.

Communications with the project manager was slow at first but got better after one complaint. DWR has quality products and contractors, but guys dont show up sometimes without notice. I would recommend DWR if you are not in a rush to complete your project.

Beautiful job of installing recessed lighting in my kitchen. I was a little unhappy with the way the finish on the ceiling turned out but NO WORRIES....one call and the owner and crew were back within 24 hours and the issue was fixed then and there! They really do stand by their name and that means everything.

I had 6 contractors look at doing my outdoor kitchen but only one was willing to do it. Due to the complexity of the project most were unable to engineer the drawings in which DWR is the complete package with everything in house. Rest a sure if you’re not happy they will make it right. It’s nice to find a company that still cares about customer service and that the customer is always right.

A big thank you to Renee for helping us design a beautiful guest bathroom. Thank you Jim for managing the project with great success. The sub contractors were excellent and always cleaned up at the end of each day. Would definitely use DWR Construction for our next remodeling project.

Our remodeling was not a huge project (replacement of master bath counters, sinks, and fixtures) but it made a big difference in the overall appearance. Work was done promptly and quickly. -Left razor blades on the bottom of my babys changing table.-Had to redo the job 4 times before they brought in the right contractors.-Used my kids towels to clean up grout. They replaced them-stole my extension cord. They bought me another-stole my grinder. Bought me another one-Got grout slung on my brick wall. Its still there-Grout on my garage floor is still there-took almost a year to remodel my shower and replace bathroom sinks.-Owner seemed nice but they hired people not qualified to do the job.-General contractor got fired halfway through the job-Do not hire these people. Terrible experience

We enjoyed our meetings with Renee, from the beginning, and were pleased with the quote for the complete redo of our Master Bath shower.The project proved to have a few twists and turns, as all projects do.Jordan, and DWR worked closely with us, until we were completely satisfied with our new, beautiful shower.DWR did what was right by us, and we would use them again.

We planned on a major renovation of our home and choose DWR after reading their online reviews and talking to their references. We began working with one of their designers in June, 2018 and mutually agreed to stop work with DWR in Feb, 2019. In the 7+ months, we worked with DWR on design only; we stopped all work before design was complete and before construction began.We found working with DWR very slow and frustrating. The DWR designer appeared to be over-worked. In addition to design projects, she also worked on business projects such as developing a new costing system. Response to requests was very slow and her availability to meet was limited. Furthermore, she did not provide project management and guidance; often when we met, she would say “what do we want to do today?” I expected her to use her expertise to guide us and the project, not the other way around.The DWR architect was equally slow. When we asked him to update drawings, his response was “will distribute when I finish the update”. I expected a more definitive answer with a specific date. It took him 19 days to update plans.If, as I did, you decide to use DWR because the majority of reviews are positive, be VERY careful to ensure you understand and agree on a process and timeline, and that they meet your expectations. I’d document meetings and conversations so you have specific details if you have to discuss slow progress with the owner.We are now working with a different contractor. Communication, project management and availability are in line with what I consider reasonable expectations.

DWR is a true team experience that works well and provides an excellent construction experience. We wanted an expanded patio to allow for better entertaining. The result looks like it was part of the original construction. Perfect! Everyone was so easy to work with. The site was kept clean at the end of each work activity. Have already recommended DWR as the go to people.

We currently have a bathroom renovated and the job is still in progress. Have hit a few snag causing delays (some tile delays, shower door delay) which is why the review is only 3 star at this point. Being in the Katy area is challenging for DWR as their base is in Spring/Woodlands, which seems to cause scheduling issues for the contractor. The work to date is excellent and I cant wait to see the finished product.

My Wife and I came in to DWR to try and just choose Tile for our Bathroom and Shower remodel. Stephanie Cone and Maddie were EXTREMELY Helpful in wanting to help us coordinate colors and types of Tile to look good together. They were both very patient and kind and professional. I was concerned upon coming in because we already have an Installer lined up and were just trying to choose colors. They did not push us to use their Installers and were surprisingly still helpful above and beyond what I would have expected. Highly Recommend. We chose colors and Stephanie had a price sheet in my email within the hour. Highly Recommend Stephanie and Maddie at DWR!!! Thanks Again!!!

This company broke my co-workers driveway (not even working on her house) and every day I hear about how this company continues to go out of their way to continue to disregard my co-worker. “Oh the guy’s car is broken, he can’t make it.” Then the next day “oh his wife’s car is broken, he’s not coming.” Or “oh we thought it was already taken care of.” From multiple people. “We’ll be there this day...” then no one shows up. My co-work is a very kind, compassionate and generous person and wouldn’t make a fuss about anything if it wasn’t a big deal. This has been going on for a while and frankly, for a company who’s name is “Do What’s Right” you’d think they would have already handled it already and made her a happy person.Wouldn’t be surprised if the lawyers get involved soon.I wouldn’t hire a company that doesn’t have the authenticity to own up to a mistake and make it right. Specifically one that has it in their name.Edit: so after this review got posted, my co-worker said the company called and asked for me to take it down. They finally got around to fixing her driveway. Added a few stars back to make it neutral. I still believe that she shouldn’t have had to fight for so long to fix a problem she didn’t create.

Complete remodel of powder room and Master bath. Removal of tub to create walk-in shower. Project completed in just over 3 weeks. Workers showed up every day and even worked on Saturdays to complete project. Very thorough work with attention to detail. Worked with designer to get the look we wanted. DWR designed the space around what we wanted, not what they thought would look best or what is necessarily trending. Communication was excellent throughout the process.

Price was reasonable, that stood behind the job and had to re-angle the shower bench which caused the glass shower wall to be recut. They didnt even flinch, they just took care of it and now the bench drains just right. They were able to purchase my custom tile which looks amazing. I was waiting to write a review until after I painted the walls so it would really shine but that will take a few more weeks. Would recommend.

This company is true to its name. Doing Whats Right. From the consultation with Kelly to the actual job with Project Manager Marshall everything was handled professionally. I found DWR after another Contractor destroyed many things in my house and stole my deposit of $15,000. My trust in any individual or Company was shattered. Kelly listened to everything that I wanted in the kitchen and living room and was able to either work it into my budget or offer a solution to items to fit in my budget. Marshall and his crew made it happen. I was very impressed with his crew always being on time and completing each days task. Excellent communication and attention to detail is why I will be repeat customer.

Everyone at DWR is super nice and wants to make the customer happy. We had five different projects, so there were many sub-contractors in our home. All of them were considerate and tried their best. Mistakes were made, but they were quickly fixed. We are very happy with all the projects.

Our only concern was with the onsite cleanliness of the contractors, paint splatters on the new floors and countertop, tile cutter placing his saw on the unprotected bedroom carpet and someone not wiping the silicone off their hands before touching a door knob. These are what bring the rating down from a 5 star.

We just had a complete kitchen remodel done. We interviewed 4 different companies and while DWR was not the cheapest, they were the most professional and organized. These traits stayed true throughout the entire remodel process. We absolutely love our new kitchen and when we redo our master bath, we will be using the same team at DWR as we did with the kitchen. No need to interview anyone else for any future remodel projects. If you are in the market to remodel, dont look for the cheapest, look for the best.

DWR Construction recently repaired a leaking shower drain in our house. The drain was part of a new shower installation done by DWR previously. DWR did the repair to a high standard, and without excuses or arguments about the cause of the leak. In this case the company truly lived up to its Doing Whats Right logo. We hold this company, its people and its work, in high regard.

We had an appointment with Lori for our back yard pergola roof to be fixed, and she was there right on time. also she was prompt with the next appointment at the DWR showroom and showed us what they were going to do and met all our questions. The work was done on time like she said. she was great.

I had the pleasure of meeting Reps for DWR Construction at a trade show a few years ago; They were easy to talk to, genuine, and very knowledgeable. They made it to my short list when I was considering adding a patio cover and outdoor kitchen to my house. I didnt end up adding the addition to my house, but you can see many of their completed projects on their website. I like that their website has an interactive map of past projects. Whoever you decide to hire, do your research and make sure they are reputable. DWR Construction is well known, has a respectable portfolio of completed projects and is a member of the GHBA, the Greater Houston Builders Association.

We had DWR do a roof extension/patio cover which blended into our existing home structure beautifully. We are very happy with it and the additional screened in room that was completed with very good quality. It adds a great value to our home.

After considerable deliberatilon, my husband and I chose DWR to remodel our bathroom. Our initial meeting with Renee was most pleasant. We have had DWR give us a few different estimates for work on our house and we decided to start with our windows. Our sales person Dustin was very professional and explained the differences in products to get us the right windows for our home. The process was easy and not stressful like some of the other companies. The installation only took a few days and the workers were very clean and accommodating with our little dogs.
