Springboro Automotive was exceptional. Their service was top-notch. They dont overcharge like the dealership, and you can speak directly to the technician. They make you feel like your car is in the best care.

They were very helpful and knowledgeable. They made sure I understand the issue and the options available to address it.They were upfront on pros and cons for each option.

Bob and his mechanics do excellent work. Bob the owner communicates regularly and gives thorough updates. He gives you an estimates of the cost and actually comes under the quoted cost. They did a part of my vintage car restoration and handled it with great care. I would highly recommend them for any care repairs you might have. I certainly will be bring my vintage car back again.

This place is so great! My daughter called at 4:15 on a Friday night with car trouble... by 6 she was home with a new battery installed and her oil changed. They were reasonably priced and so kind. I am so thankful they are right here in town.

Bob and his staff are friendly along with being respectful. Took my wifes 2013 Range Rover in for an oil change. Did a little research before going in as it takes 8.5 quarts of oil. Bob called me the night I dropped it off stating that I had some options with regards to filter selections, along with oil selections. Also told me there was a skid plate that needed to be removed. Was very glad he called and let me know up front of the additional cost. Very easy going, no up selling or scare tactics, just good, honest, fair work done right the first time. Will be a return customer, how could you not be? Other shops in the area refused to work on this vehicle, so I was relieved when these folks said they would/could. Saved me from going back to the dealership. Thank you again for getting this done for me, appreciate you and your staff.

Had to get my suspension, breaks, and several other things fixed for my 10 year old Ford Fusion. Bob and his guys did a FANTASTIC job! At 10 years and 130 thousand miles, she drives like a new car again! Bob made sure to call me every time he found something that needed repairing to make sure it fit within my budget. If you want quality work done by quality professionals, this is the place!

They couldn’t even figure out why my car was not starting. I recommended to them multiple times to check the starter, but the only response I got was “ya know cars have a mind of their own”. I later learned from one of their employees that they had not looked at the car yet, even though it had been sitting there for multiple days. They told me to pick up my car even though they did nothing to fix it and my car ended up not being able to start again. If you’re looking for a better place to service your car you should try Schmidt’s Automotive which is right down the street. Overall I feel very degraded by the owner of this shop.

I hate all things related to problems with my car-and know absolutely nothing when it comes to car issues. I chose Springboro Automotive based on their crazy good reviews, and I really liked how many people said they felt genuine. They were not wrong.I brought my car in to have my brakes checked, and while there, another man came in and started drilling them about his car (it was not being looked at) and how much they would charge, what he thought the diagnosis was, and on and on and on. They were so patient and nice-and although he kept trying to drill them, they did repeatedly say we dont just like to guess and speculate because that can really be costly and not always fix the issues. It really felt honest.The evaluation on my car was quick, on time and came back that I did not need to do anything. You read that correctly, and I know its confusing because people never say that about work on their car. They told me my brakes were at 30% and if it were them, they would not do anything right now. How great is that???If you are thinking of coming here, do it. You wont be disappointed and youll feel good giving business to a company that earns your trust.

If I could give them zero stars, I absolutely would. They treated my girlfriend with complete disrespect, and talked to her like she was completely clueless. They fixed absolutely nothing, and called to let her know they weren’t working on her car. Furthermore, one of the employees accused my girlfriend of “not acting like an adult” and that they wanted to “speak to a real adult,” as well as accusing her of hitting them with her keys. Absolutely awful service, complete lack of professionalism. I would recommend letting anybody else fix your car. Extremely disappointing.

They have always steered us right. Theyre honest and trustworthy and simply almost like family. I can trust them to service all our family cars.

RIP off joint, try to do things to your car you dont need to drive up the price, when I spoke up about it the guy thru my keys at me and invite me outside to settle it, Im 68 on a fixed income, so if you want to get ripped off go here, if not go to northern up the next street by Edwards, they will do you right and treat you as a customer they would want to keep, ps.(the guy behind the counter was about 30 to 35 yrs. Can’t even describe the lack of professionalism. Seriously don’t trust all these positive reviews. At the end of the day the owner just wants to screw you over. Overcharges on everything and is a snake. I will never have my car serviced there again. They ended up making issues worse on my car

Always have good experiences coming here. I don’t have to beg for information and I feel like I am the one making the decisions. Low pressure, but they make sure you know what they think should be done to your vehicle.

I cannot day enough about the integrity of the owner of this shop. As a result of the honesty and the professionalism he demonstrated when I recently brought my college-age daughter’s car to him for repairs, I will never take my car anywhere else when work is needed.Initially, we took her car to a shop in Lebanon, OH. We asked for an estimate prior to the repairs being done so we could determine if we wanted to invest in my daughter’s rather old car (with the hopes it would get her through the remainder of college), or if it would make better financial sense for her to take out a loan on a new vehicle - something that would’ve been taxing on her meager income while in school. The main problems with her car were that her wipers and AC didn’t work. The other company’s estimate was just over $1400, which also included an oil change, a tune up, and 4 very inexpensive tires ($60/each).On the day the repairs were to be done at the other place, I received a call that the wipers would be an additional $200 to fix and that we’d have to get the car the next day, instead of picking it up that same day as planned. I expressed frustration at the extra cost and time, but agreed to them proceeding with the repair. I then said, “After that, her car will be ready to go, right? The tires will be on, tune-up done, and the AC will be fixed?” I was then informed the AC would not be fixed and that that “AC service” expense on my initial estimate was only to diagnose the problem, not to fix it. The owner added that they initially thought the compressor wasn’t getting enough power, which was a simple repair - a repair he quoted on the initial estimate. However, they fixed the power wire and since that didn’t work, it would need a new compressor which would be an additional $600. At this point, I was very unhappy and made it known. I questioned why he did not determine this when giving us an estimate. Suffice it to say that he did not take kindly to my line of questions and refused to do any further repairs on the car. He even referred to my daughter’s car as a piece of $hi#. I could not believe the complete and utter lack of professionalism the owner of this other company showed. In order to retrieve our car, we had to pay $1130 and didn’t end up with working wipers or AC - which is why we took our car there in the first place!A friend at work said she had used Springboro Automotive for many years and had always been pleased. I called and spoke to Bob the owner. After one conversation, I knew he was a class act - completely different than the owner of the other shop. He took the time (nearly an hour, where he let me explain my concern and frustration with the other place) to hear me out and to explain how they diagnose and then fix the car. I could sense his honesty and sincerity even over the phone.The day we took our car to be looked at, Bob personally called me each step of the way as they were diagnosing the problems - something that really put me at ease, especially given the horrible experience I just endured at the other shop. It turns out my daughter did NOT need a new AC compressor after all...a wire needed replaced. All-in-all, we ended up spending $660 for both the wipers and AC repairs, and, as I write this a few weeks later, everything is working well. Bob even went the extra mile to send me a personal text a few days after we had our car back asking if things were going well with the car.Although I never met Bob (a different employee was in the office when we picked up our car), I am so grateful to this man and his team. They will always have my business and support. I cannot recommend Springboro Automotive enough!

Very nice staff, great work, and very affordable. After my car broke down, they got me in and out during the same day. They found the issue easily, repaired it and called the dealership letting them know their mistake - on my behalf. Very easy to work with and will definitely come back again.

Ive been coming here since 2011 to let Bob, Don, and the crew work on my car. They always take good care of me and always fixed every single problem Ive had. My car now has over 220k miles and is still going strong thanks to their good work.

I recently used them for help with my 2001 Isuzu Trooper. I typically work on my own vehicles, but I could not solve a specific problem that had me frustrated for months. Within 24 hours, they were able to diagnose the issue that fixed the problem. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and I would gladly recommend them.

We had our car towed there after it broke down on the way to Springboro from North Carolina for our brother-in-laws funeral. The owner was wonderful. He assured us that he could repair the car unless it was a hybrid issue. We had first tried the Hyundai dealership and could not get the service dept to answer their phone. Unfortunately for us, it was a hybrid issue, so we had to have it towed a second time to the Hyundai dealership. We went by to pay the owner at Springboro Automotive and he would not take one penny for assessing the car and determining the issue. He even called us later in the week to make sure the dealership took care of the issue. Caring and honest are the words I would use to describe the owner of this business. If I lived in the area, his is the only company I would consider.

Even since I have my car and truck servicing at Springboro Automotive a few years ago, I dont take my car and truck to the dealers anymore. Springboro Automotive has done great jobs on my car and truck. The owner, Bob, is very nice and takes times to explain the problems/issues about your car/truck. He is very honest and not pressuring you. Heck, he even fixed my car for FREE on a problem that was a minor issue. You couldnt get a dealer or anyone to do that for sure. I highly recommend Springboro Automotive!

Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone! I was a regular customer there for a while and everything was good... until Bob tried to rip me off one day!! I noticed that he was trying to charge me $450 and the same part was only $180 at AutoZone. When I explained this to him he got upset and then tried to tell me that he ordered the part already (even though I didnt agree to it yet!). He even tried to make me pay a fee for cancelling the order! One of my co-workers recently told me that they tried to overcharge him as well. Springboro Automotive has lost me as a customer and would strongly suggest that you do not do business with these people.

These guys are great! Ive been in Ohio for 8 years now and just started working in Springboro when I experienced some car troubles. I had broken my brakes. These guys were able to explain their pricing and procedures clearly and did not waiver from what they said. Parts were able to be ordered same day and the work was completed quickly and efficiently. They also called frequently to give updates and let me know of other concerns/questions they had along the way. I have been forced to deal with a lot of second rate mechanics during my life but these guys are a cut above the rest! If I ever have car trouble again or need some preventative work I will absolutely return here.
