We have bought sod over the years from several different sod suppliers around but nothing compares to their sod. Highly recommend these guys over anyone around the area! High quality Zoysia Sod! They have the absolute best customer service and fair prices . They went above and beyond. Jason made sure everything was taken care of. I had to move the delivery date a couple of times due to weather and he took care of it both times. We will definitely be buying all of our sod in the future from Sod Hawg!

I ordered 2700 sq/ft and was shorted 900 sq/ft of sod. I measured the amount of space covered after it was laid and thought it could be rectified easily. I called repeatedly to get answers for my order I had delivered. I ordered my sod through a sales rep by the name of Dee Dudley. Super nice lady. Unfortunately she is not the person that can fix this type of mistake. I tried politely contacting the owner multiple times only to be ignored. So I did loose my cool as anyone would and made the comment that the owner was a coward. While I was sending messages to the owner trying to resolve the issue, I was being ignored. I had screen shots sent to me by the the rep. Communicating with her while I was trying to resolve the issue. This is what made me thought of the term coward. Not a threat by no means. The only thing I asked was for them to come and look at the amount of material that arrived and was laid. They said they would but never did and ignored every bit of contact that was made. My rep finally said that I could go pick up a pallet of sod from there facility. At this point I am done with these people and there ethics. I paid for an amount to be delivered and they only offered half of the shortage and only if I picked it up. Not good business for the custom home people building individual homes. They may just take care of spec home type builders that have a set amount of sod on every lot. But if you are a one time job or custom home. I definitely wouldnt recommend this company.

Our Company purchased 13,000 sq ft of Bermuda Sod from Frank. It came right on time and the quality of the sod was nothing short of outstanding! The price beat all the Wholesale competitors that I looked at. Frank also provided me tips for measuring and the installation. We and our customer could not be happier! These guys get 5 stars. They delivered and laid 11 big rolls for me this week. They worked around a rainy forecast to get the yard done as promised. Sod looks to be really good quality with a good layer of topsoil underneath. I ordered bermuda Tif hybrid. Dee was great to work with as well.

We just had screened topsoil delivered atop our big hill and the process was flawless! Great quality soil for a fair price. If you live in Madison County then you know it’s tough finding topsoil for delivery. THANK YOU Sod Hawg!!

Ordered 10 pallets of sod. I was given scrap pieces of rolls that were laid flat. Half of the pieces were old. Much of it was cut so poorly it had no top soil included or was not uniform, as a roll out have been.This was terrible sod. I will avoid at all cost in the future.

I have been trying to contact them about making a purchase but Every time I try to call their sales department they hang up on me after the 3rd or 4th ring.

1000% recommend for these guys! After many calls to sod places, if they didnt answer right away they called me right back. They were the most knowledgeable of all grasses. Larry helped me choose the grass to fit our needs. Honest, Most Reliable, and Very Fast!

These guys were great. I ordered two pallets and the driver met me there to load up my trailer. They were great about calling me and keeping me updated on what time to meet. Highly recommend

Take your business elsewhere. After about three weeks of excuses as to why I could not pick up three pallets of sod that I ordered, they finally got a truck four hours late for me to pick up. The “fresh cut” sod was brown. Don’t waste your time.

After promising sod 4 or 5 times, never called back. I called several times and Larry was so nice, but all talk. I guess my business was not important enough.

Called the sod hawg and spoke with Dee about soding our court yard area for an upcoming wedding. Im unsure how to post photos to this review but i can promise you it was definitely worth the call! Thank you!
