Woman behind the counter is very rude. I purchased a set of waist beads for some reason it had a knot in it that I could unloose. I bring the waist beads back and shes accusing me of messing them up. She tries to give me another style of waist beads and I asked her if I can get the same color patterns as the ones that I had before. This lady starts raising her voice at me saying that I messed up the waist beads and now I want her to give me something else. Ive been told her I do not appreciate the way that she was speaking to me as a customer. She then throws the waist beads at me and tells me shes not going to replace them. I dont know if she was having a bad day but I have come to the store on separate occasions to buy Shea butter and I have never experienced this type of customer service here. I will never come to the store ever again! Being a black person trying to support other black businesses this is the type of customer service that we get. Smh
I love their african apparel different cultures are what we need to share. We buy all the geles oh yes
They are so irresponsible. I went to the store and they said they were open on the sign. But they were closed. IF YOU ARE NOT OPEN THEN PUT CLOSED ON THE SIGN
Any african food ingredients you need they have it, I go there a lot to shop and also to chat with grandpa.
I bought the products I needed
What a delight! Pleasant staff and affordable price on foods and goods.
If you need authentic ingredients for African cooking this is the spot. Mostly focused on west African and some Caribbean food.

I’m Puerto Rican but it feels good to have a store that offers foods/ clothing from another aspect of our culture and the store owners are very helpful and nice
Great place to get items for West African home cooking.
Tropical African Market is one of the best places I get my African traditional food and clothes. The prices are moderate and they have variety of stuff needed to remember my darling Africa.
I went to buy a face cream which had 3 dollars sticker, the lady there looked at me and grabbed all the cream saying its 6 dollars not 3, she looked dirty and very hateful..please she doesnt qualify to serve customers..also be mindful of expirations dates there
