My family and I had a great experience with Sheehy Subaru Springfield when buying our new Subaru Ascent. Sajjad was incredibly patient with us with kids in tow, and while we needed time to consider things, he provided lots of information with no pressure. He and the general manager Chris Barr worked over the next day, staying late to accommodate my schedule, to work through things, and compromised on the car deal itself. I appreciate their flexibility, honesty and patience with me and my family throughout the process (and were really enjoying the car!)
Their service department is very sketchy, Im not sure about sales. They will claim warranty from SUBARU then tell you it was discount they give. I repaired my outback for 3 issues including key stuck after put on park. They told me they gave me DISCOUNT on each of the 3 issues (they literally wrote on a piece of paper how much discount they gave on each issue). I received a mail from SUBARU now the repairing of key stuck can be reimbursed, so I found out the receipt trying to filed reimbursement. I realized on the invoice, they did not give any discount, instead they claimed warranty from SUBARU to repair the key stuck issue. They knew they could claim warranty on the issue, but they lied to me saying that they gave me discount on each of the 3 issues.
We just moved to Alexandria, VA and this dealership is by far the best I have encountered since I bought my Subaru in 2017. Amazing service, very professional and responsive. I would highly recommend Sheehy. Thank you!
I love the service department. I’ve been here twice with my 2015 Subaru, about 2 years ago for 30k mile preventative maintenance and recently for a minor recall and a concern about how my engine was idling. They quoted me a price for the diagnostic (which was 1/3 the cost of the other mechanic I called) so I took my car in. Turns out my car just needed some kind of electronic update so they charged me nothing! Every single person I met in the service department was very friendly and helpful. There was no pressure to buy extra services, they only thing they mentioned is that I should get new tires soon and offered a quote. I turned down the quote and they didn’t push the issue at all.
We just bought our second Subaru today from Sheehy. Albi worked with us again and like last time he is calm, responsive presence. He is super helpful and we appreciate his no pressure approach. We worked with Lisa in finance for the first time and she is a hoot. She explained all of our warranty and service options very thoroughly. We had fun chatting with Lisa and Albi during the process.
Our daughter bought her first car and it was the usual tiresome event but they worked hard to get her into a vehicle of HER CHOICE!! Shabir was very patient and super helpful during this process. Lisa was phenomenal!!! Best thing is we have a very happy daughter with a beautiful car!!! We must also say a huge thank you to General manager Chris who stayed with us and his crew to ensure that this experience was worthwhile!!! Awesome job guys!!!!
I honestly dont write bad reviews but I feel it is necessary after my visit to Sheehy Springfields Service Department.I took my car to them because my powerlocks were not working on all but one door. Before I went in for my appointment I did research of possible causes and after speaking with a few mechanics on the phone decided to take it to this dealership. The Service Advisor I spoke to on the phone was kind, knowledgeable but when I came in for my appointment I had a different service rep. I waited at the shop for HOURS while they did the diagnostic and the complentary multi-point inspection that I really didnt want. The results of which were expensive repairs being needed.I decided to get a 2nd and 3rd opinion before moving forward and found that of the 3 things they said needed to be fixed on the car only one actually really needed to be repaired and one was HIGHLY exaggerated even after I asked that they double check that it wasnt the BCM.They said they put the car on the reader and determined I needed 3 actuators replaced which was $1500. I took it to a different dealership after getting a 2nd and 3rd opinion which both found the codes to read there was an issue with the BCM like I asked Sheehy to look at.The 2nd dealership ACTUALLY read the code and found it was a short in 1 wire in one of the rear actuators and the repairs would be under 700 bucks. I have had the repair done at the Beyer Subaru and all my locks are working perfectly fine.I dont trust the service department at Sheehy Subaru in Springfield I know a lot of reviews state otherwise but this is my experience. I wasted money and time at Sheehy getting in inaccurate diagnostic and some lies about other repairs that needed to be done.
Out of no where, when my 2018 Crosstrek started blowing out white smoke of the exhaust when I started my vehicle, I brought it in. I was on a tight schedule for the day and Ramon was quick to get a tech on it right away. Although the diagnostics revealed nothing was wrong with it, I appreciated the time and effort Ramon put in to get everything done to ensure it was safe to drive back home, and within the tight schedule I explained that I was on. He understood my concerns and was really reassuring that everything with the car was okay. Hopefully the issue doesnt happen again, but if it does I will be bringing it back here just because of the type of care they showed me. Thank you, Ramon.

My car broke down and I was forced to get a new car quick, Everyone was so incredibly nice except for the actual sales rep we had, If we werent in such a bind and needed a car that day we would have asked for someone else. The salesperson literally chuckled at our budget when he asked.However Lizzie in the finance department was AMAZING and helped us out so much, she answered all our first time car buyer questions and made sure we got a good deal

I had a great experience working with Chris LaPorte to purchase my new Subaru Crosstrek! He was welcoming from the start and great at explaining all the features and differences between models. He always took his time working with me, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Since my previous car was flooded and deemed a total loss by insurance, he even helped give me tips and explained what to expect with the insurance process. Though this was a really stressful time for me to get a new car (the situation of my old car being flooded combined with the microchip/car shortage), Chris made everything work out perfectly and i couldnt be happier with my new car!

Sheehy Subaru was outstanding! If I could give them another star I would. If you are in the market to purchase a vehicle you should buy it from Sheehy. I totaled my car and have spent the last two weeks doing something I absolutely dread— car shopping. I’ve been to and called over 8 dealerships and had miserable experiences at some. I was feeling close to defeated when I called Sheehy. I live over two and a half hours away, and over the phone they made me a deal very much worth my drive. They weren’t mean or belittling in their negotiating. When I got there they stuck to their word and delivered on everything agreed upon. They were never overly pushy, they never tried forcing anything, and they remained a wonderfully calm, and relaxed environment— especially for a dealership on a Saturday. I was in and out quickly because they knew I had a long drive back. Sheehy Subaru is filled with wonderful people, and if you are in the market for a Subaru they are definitely worth the drive no matter how near or far you live.
I recently moved to the area and needed to bring in my vehicle due to a recall and to get the oil changed. The woman who scheduled the appointment on the phone couldn’t have been nicer. When I arrived for the service appointment, they went over the services being done, the cost, and provided a loaner car for me to drive until it was completed. Great customer service at this location!
BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT GO HERE! Sold a car that was 2yrs old certified pre inspected pre approved used vehicle. !. Live in MD. Didnt pass md inspection. Bad tire, wipers bad, no cats.(which is against the law in V.A for a dealer to do.). Which they took advantage of my son and talked him into swapping a stock muffler system to pass inspection and then put the straight pipe back on still without cats. which is against the law. The loan officer Mohammad screwed him by sneaking a vip package which he clearly said he was GIVING my son. He also snuck an easy care pkg that my son did not ask for, He did not even give us any info on it, Nor didnt know we had it until the car was in an accident, Where the gap informed us that they were not paying for that. We explicitly told Mohammad that we wanted ONLY GAP ins. Total packages was over $3000. added to loan and not covered by gap or be cancelled if added into loan. Unfortunately the car was totaled 3 months later the second week of Aug. We are still waiting for them to cancel and refund the bank to payoff the loan . Very shady people! We will be contacting the BBB. For Fraud and no payoff statement from them on packages.
I came here last second because they’re one of the subaru dealers that are open until 6:20pm for oil services. Phi was my service advisor and he was pretty great to work with! all said and done i waited about 40 minutes or less. i will be heading back and making it my local dealership for services. 10/10 would recommend

In March we bought a cat here and thanks to Chris La Port was a very easy way to shop they gave me a price to compare with other dealers near by and Chris gave me the lower price and it was what he said by email. We went there choose the color and from there sign papers and one month later I got my plates to my house everything went smooth. No extra cost
I bought my recently-purchased 2019 Crosstrek into Sheehy for service - my service advisor was Jocelyn. She was very professional and efficient, and my vehicle was done in an appropriate amount of time. I discovered some damage to my vehicle that occurred while the vehicle was in the shop. Jocelyn worked to rectify the issue and ensure that I was satisfied. I was very pleased with the outcome, and am grateful for her and the management team at Sheehy being willing to go the extra mile to resolve the issue with my vehicle.
They make buying easy. After that they don’t seem to care at all. Trying for almost a year to cancel warranty, including during free trial period. No response to emails, phone messages, including those to the manager. Went to showroom as well. Got partial credit a month after demanding to speak with someone while in the showroom (angry customers aren’t good for business), but still have yet to actually speak with someone or even get an email reply from finance department.Update - I have tried 4 times to reach out to the general manager over the last two weeks, and have left two messages with no response. (This morning when I called again the mailbox was apparently full.) I have been polite and more than patient. So disappointing.
Hoang our salesman was great. He explained the features of the car and answered all our questions after test driving it. When we told him we had another appointment at Toyota, he said he knew this was a big purchase and you need to be sure. We did come back and purchase the Forester and have no regrets.

Sheehy saved my day! Husband and I were driving from PA to SC and my car broke down 15 miles away from them at 9am in a Wawa parking lot, on a Saturday, holiday weekend. We were completely stranded in a state that we knew nothing about! After 2 tow companies cancelled on us due to how busy they both were we finally found a 3rd that was willing to help. We got my car to Sheehey at 230pm, btw they close at 4pm. Ramon and his techs looked over my car and found a temporary solution within 1 hour so that we could continue our trip and fix my car once we got back home. I could not have been more thankful. I was so upset about the entire day and scared about being stranded in VA, and they made everything better for us so quickly. Thank you so much.

Messaged Sheehy Subaru on a Saturday morning, asking if they had a certain car available. They were very responsive, and had the exact car I wanted in stock. Only took a few hours from start to finish to get the entire process done! On 06/11/2021 we Traded in our vehicle for an Ascent. They told us the old loan would be paid off within 7-10 business days. With the current date as of 7/19/2021, we are still paying for 2 vehicles and 1 is in property of sheehy Subaru. Tried talking to Chris Barr and Mohammed Ali(?) and have received the worst customer service/attitude when dealing with their team. There was no “I apologize for the inconvenience” or “let me look into this and get back to you ASAP”. I had to ask them to call me back once they heard something. Still waiting for an apology or some sort of acknowledgment of their mistake but I guess they don’t care about their customers after you sign the papers.
My partner and I recently bought a 2020 Crosstrek from this dealership. Our salesperson, Shabir, was very professional and helpful. He answered any and all questions we had in a very professional and polite manner. He was great to work with. The financing person was also extremely helpful. I’ve never had a financing person at a dealership explain the financing options in such comprehensible terms.
Trevor is hands down the best service writer that I have ever worked with at a card dealership. His team quickly diagnosed by Forester on a Saturday afternoon, and took care of my repairs in a timely manner while looking after my best interest. He is customer focused and Ill continue to return to Sheehy Subaru in the future because of him.
Buying a car during a pandemic seemed a little scary, but the whole process was safe, quick and easy. This is my first Subaru, and Sheehy made this such an easy car buying experience. Dul Ganchimeg was great! He got me a quote on the car I wanted, plus a solid quote on my trade in all using text and email. Went for a test drive;everything was clean and the staff was great with keeping customers safe. There was never any pressure to upgrade or buy something i didnt want or need. Absolute amazing experience today. I had eyed the car I wanted and at 20 total minutes on the phone we were only off 300 dollars on the price!Got here and they gave me the keys and told me to take it for an unsupervised spin. They were very insistent on this, which was a very good first impression.After I came back they walked me through all the options (cash vs loan vs lease) and I never felt pressured. This was by far one of the Top 3 out of many car purchases I’ve ever made.Great organization to include my salesman Adam (see card below) and Kevin, the used car manager.Don’t hesitate to come down here and experience Class A treatment and no back and forth numbers games. 👍🏼👍🏼

Another service I was impressed because they setup the appointment to have someone explaining how to use the technology features in person in two weeks after we have some hands on experience with the car. Just seem to work very slow for a oil change. I’ve been here for a hour and 20 mins. I live all the way in Columbia Maryland and theres only two Sheehy Subarus around my way and both is a hour and 10 mins. I came to this one because this is where I bought my car from and I think I heard one of the repair reps say after I asked how much long. That people are being impatient today. Well sorry if I am but there is Virginia/Maryland heavy traffic. Sorry if I’m being a little impatient.
This is my 2nd Subaru from Sheehy Subaru of Springfield. They have such great service and selection. Very customer focused. I first worked with Adam, who was excellent, and recently worked with Shabir Baba, was so equally excellent but also so speedy and respectful of our time - he was genuinely concerned with us enjoying the experience and car. We got a Crosstrek the first time and now the Forester and LOVE it. Would definitely recommend this dealership and the staff!

The experience and customer service I receive each time at Sheehy Subaru at both the service department and on the showroom floor is phenomenal. I have been bringing in my Impreza here for maintenance and Cee always remembers me and greets me each time. When it was time to trade in for a WRX, Shabir & Mohammad were an excellent aid and made the whole process friendly and easy! Great staff, very respectful, I’d recommend going here first before any other dealership!

I wouldnt recommend buying a car here, the finance name Mohammed is very unprofessional, wouldnt give me the price that was posted Oline and then try to screw me on my interest rate try to tell me he was giving me a deal when he wasnt the numbers never added up and never submitted the paper work that needed to be sent just because they wanted me to use sheehy bank
They are pricey. Also tried to sell me a cabin filter change on a NEW filter. The filter was obviously pure white but had a few pine needles in it. They always try to sell additional items. When I asked about an air filter, they wanted a hole bunch of money to change it. I know what an air filter cost and how much time it takes to change it. I will do it myself for the price they were asking. Wake up, covid is challenging all dealerships and car owners with no jobs. Have a heart.

Ive been coming to this dealer since I purchased my Subaru from a sister dealership (Sheehy Nissan) just over ten years ago. The quality of service is top notch and their team in the service and parts department is great. The technicians that I have spoken to have been excellent as well. I regularly work with Trevor while having my vehicle serviced and most recently was assisted by Jocelyn. Both great service representatives. Just a well rounded and Subaru enthusiast friendly dealership.
My wife and I recently bought a certified pre-owned Subaru Outback 2.5i from Sheehy. The experience was a good one. Chris LaPorte took good care of us, answered all of our questions very professionally and personably right up through the final purchase. His knowledge of the vehicle and high level of customer service made the experience of buying the car stress-free. We got the car we wanted at a fair price and also took the time to help us become familiar with the car before we drove it off the lot.
Brought my car in for an oil change. Was told there was a front cover leak. They repaired it. Next oil change they told me there was still a minor front cover leak. I brought it to another company and was told Ford did a poor repair of the front cover leak and that any reputable company would repair an existing issue they repaired a short time ago. Ford is not willing to do that, but instead charge $2,500 for this minor front cover leak. In 2 years I will in the market for a new larger car, but will not buy it from Ford.
Michael Meadows was so personable, patient and helpful even while I was not an easy customer. He stayed late to help me finalize my purchase as well as Sara in financing and the sales manager. I chose to stay and work with him on a vehicle because of his work ethic and I would again. So ask for Mr Meadows. You will be pleased.
I have owned 3 Subaru car and have been Subaru Ambassador for 8 years. I generally fix and service my car myself or at my friend’s shop. Last Saturday I needed a quick and simple service done, so I went to Sheehy Subaru in Springfield. I came in and requested manual transmission oil, as well as rear differential oil replaced. I got quoted 250$ for the entire job.I gave my keys to a Service Rep, but she barely got my car to the garage door stalling out 3 times, and in the end asked me to take it in myself.The mechanic did a multi-point inspection. Before I share my concerns, I want to mention that the day before I had a multi-point inspection done, as well as alignment and new tires installed. The technician found no issues.Sheehy Subaru Service had a different take on it, which I was skeptical about.1. Service rep told me that my control arm bushing was torn. She retracted the statement after I told her about the recent inspection.(Mind you, they said it would cost me 660$ plus 150$ for another alignment)2. They told me that rear third break light was out, it wasn’t out I checked it myself right after I left the dealer.3. The mechanic replaced the transmission oil, but did not replace rear diff oil. They, however, charged me the full amount of 220$. I looked at the paperwork only after I got home: There was no mentioning of rear diff oil replacement.The Parts section of paperwork only mentioned 3 bottles of 75w90 and a gasket. Subaru manual clearly states that 5-speed manual transmission cars need 3.7 quarts and 0.8 for rear diffs. Lets do the math-that’s approximately 5 bottles. I called the service rep wondering why I was charged the full price but only half of the service was done. The answers were really unclear and what she was saying was not reflected in the paperwork.I drove back home, left the car in garage overnight. Next morning I noticed a puddle on the ground. I checked under the car and found out that transmission dip stick wasn’t all the way in, which caused oil splashing around when i was driving. Upon my request half of the labor was refunded to me. Bottom Line - one would expect a different level of service at a specialized Subaru shop.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This was the easiest car purchase ever. We came here and were greeted by Albi who we ended up purchasing the car through. He was very kind and professional from the start. Albi valued our time and most importantly listened to us on what we wanted. He was very straightforward and gave us his best offer right away. We then went to the financing office and usually those offices are a nightmare but not at this dealership! Adam Edwards was our financing manager and we were able to finance and walk out of his office within 10 minutes. He was so helpful and listened to us and didnt try and waste our time. These guys are good. Yeah youre probably paying a little more to go through the dealership, but they do good work and are very friendly. Never had any issues. Even ask about family members everytime I come in.
Great service. Bought a used 2017 Outback from the dealership and have had issues with the trunk malfunctioning. Everytime the dealership was quick to help without being sneaky and trying to sneak in a charges of some sort :) I had bad experiences at other dealerships do this. I plan on having Sheehy Subaru of Springfield do the maintenance on my vehicle and trust them. They are very nice and listen to you. We were helped by a gentleman named Trevor.
From the moment I sat down with Mr. Albi Sadikaj (sales person), to receiving information about price totals with Mr. Chris Bar (sales manager), and signing documents with Mr. Mohammad Ali (Finance not the boxer) - there was excellent customer service. I have bought several cars over the years, and this was by far, the most effective service. All of their personalities and dealership technology made the process of purchasing a new vehicle light and easy.
Worried about need for oil change without contact. Took the car in to check and it was taken care of immediately while I waited outside. Advisor Cee was very efficient.

Sales manager was so rude towards customers and since i am new to subaru cars,i went for a test drive and sales manager was forcing to buy a car without providing proper quote for new and pre owned cars and said to look for online for prices details,if it is there in online why should I come to showroom? and not responded properly and playing tricks to confuse the customers and i never ever going to buy a car from this sheehy subrau of Springfield dealer. Actually i can give 0 star rating, infact negative stars 🌟 for the way of treating customers and i dont know how he is behaving with other customers. Worst, worst and worst

We had been looking to get a new Subaru for my sister and had gone to almost every Subaru dealership in the area but the best experience we had was at the Sheehy Subaru in Springfield and with our sales person Samim who helped us with the purchase and made sure that we got everything we were looking for with an amazing price and no headache! The finance manager Elizabeth Grammer was one of the most unprofessional, deceiving Subaru employees I have ever met. She suggested that my son qualified for the recent grad VIP program with the interest rate of 1.4. When we got to the final price paperwork we noticed the agreed price of the vehicle had increased by $6,000. We began to question this and were very confused as everything had been pleasurable and smooth sailing to this point. Elizabeth started to get agitated and basically said the cost increase was for the VIP program. She led us to believe it was recent grad promotion not an upgraded add on package. We then told her no, we want the agreed price at the advertised rates. Her attitude became abrupt, nasty and very aggressive, where she was literally hitting the glass so hard I thought it was going to break. What a great way to treat your customers who just brought a brand new car from you. If it wasn’t for the experience with the salesman we would have walked out the door. I do not have a problem with trying to upsale add on packages to customers, but be honest in how you present them and if they decline be professional about it.
Jocelyn in the service department is excellent. She provided fantastic customer service, as she is respectful, kind, and timely. Can’t speak highly enough of her, and Sheehy Subaru.

Ripped me off. $1350 for a 60k tune-up? Stohlman charges $700–$980. Sheehy told me the difference was because we do the spark plugs; they probably dont. Um, they do. And spark plugs dont cost $650. Tried to charge me $660 for the front control arm bushings, which I declined and which turned out to be completely fine. Go to Stohlman.
We highly recommend Sheehy Subaru of Springfield. Our sales representative was Shabir Baba and he was awesome, definitively a true professional and gentleman. He took his time to show us all the models of the Subaru Forester and with great patience he explained us every difference between them with no rush. Also we want to mention Chris Barr, the manager. I purchased a vehicle at Sheehy Subaru yesterday. I was very pleased with the service that I received from Adam Edwards. Adam was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and went above and beyond my expectations in patiently and clearly answering all of my many questions. Once my vehicle was prepped and ready for me to drive off the Sheehy lot, Adam came out to the vehicle with me and went over all of the necessary features on the vehicle so that I was comfortable driving it home after dark. I found the Sheehy showroom to be a comfortable place to do business and wait for my vehicle to be prepped. I would highly recommend Adam as someone who was excellent to work with and conduct business.
Trevor, the Service Manager, is outstanding. He has been sympathetic when Ive brought my Forester in for service during some very emotional times. The entire service staff is friendly and courteous. For these reasons, Ill go back to Sheehy Subaru Springfield even though it is not the closest dealership.

Probably the worst service. Advisor seemed lost in giving me price for two new keys then asks about how much it’s it to another advisor but 3200$ for new keys???? I work in this business and would never just guess on a price for a customer even if I didn’t know. Outrages price for something probably simple. But then calling A different dealer (Subaru of Alexandria) and quoting me 1300 along with a loner car for two weeks. Wow I guess Sheehy scams people that don’t know anything about cars.
