What can I say? These guys are great! They do very good work and are done in a timely fashion. Very happy with their rates. I would highly recommend them for any import car work.

Eric and Dave and all of the staff are HANDS DOWN THE BEST IN TOWN. They are ALWAYS helpful for big and small problems, they are friendly, they have HDTV on in their waiting room, so while they do the work fixing your ride you can day dream about buying a beach house instead of the bill... speaking of the bill they are ALWAYS FAIR & REASONABLE & honestly should probably charge more for the great job they do!

So far they seem pretty awesome and prices cant be beat.

I have been a loyal Floyd Imports customer starting 2 cars ago! When on my first visit I thought I needed new brakes, they assured me I was good for another 5,000 miles or so, I knew this was an honest bunch of guys! Been going back ever since and refer everyone I know who has an import to the Floyd boys!

Most import drivers feel like they have to go back to the dealer. Floyds is so much better then many of the import dealers Ive dealt with in the central Illinois region. They have managed to fix my cars when other people have not been able to. I cannot stress how much happier my family is with our cars now that I have someone who knows what theyre doing keeping them up. If you have an import car and have not used Floyds you need to give him a try

This a great shop for imports! They are fair, the labor prices are reasonable and they do not try to oversell you. A very fair and friendly shop for women, you dont have to worry about being taken advantage of. I would send my Grandmother here, I cant offer a better review than that.

Terrific/Honest Mechanics. I first met these guys 10+ years ago. My old mechanic was not sure hed be able to fix my Audi and referred me to Dave and Eric. They are great. They wont try to charge you for stuff you dont need and they take pride in their work. They truly care about their customers.

Recently took my daughters first car to them after a referral from Landmark. Best decision​ weve made so far with this car. They were fast, affordable (by a wide margin) and very accommodating. We needed new struts and not only did we have them installed in less than 48hrs, additional corresponding parts were replaced as they were worn at no charge. We only just met these gentlemen, but they were already treating us like long standing customers. They will have my business until the wheels fall off this car.

Floyds came very highly recommended, but I had a rough introduction to them by way of an undiagnosed problem and a faulty part.In the end, all was made exactly right, and I have great respect for the collective years of experience and the face-value forthrightness of everyone on board.These guys are top-shelf professionals, and my nearly-old-enough-to-vote BMW is happy again.

We wont take our cars anywhere else. We replaced a car with an import just to make sure we could take it here. Great friendly service and honest diagnositcs. Not sure if it is the cheapest place in town, but reasonable and reliable.

They are the ones that fix the problems the other shops in town cant. Price is fair too! The older gentleman was kind enough to give me a free pre purchase inspection on my car. With so many shade tree mechanic shops out there, these are the mechanics we ought to keep in business!

A prospective buyer of my car asked me to bring my car to Floyds for an inspection. Having already had my local mechanic inspect the car, I reluctantly agreed.They found a few things that would eventually need replaced in 4-6 months, and gave an astronimical estimate that was nearly TWICE what my local reputable mechanic (Mears in Mattoon) quoted me.And whats worse, when I got back in my car, my check engine light was on! Upon inspection, I found 4 wires under the rear passenger side undercarriage that appeared to have been cut during inspection (perhaps by accident), which appeared to have caused the check engine light to engage.When I challenged the mechanic, and asked questions, he cussed at me and told me to leave.I do not recommend Floyd Imports.

If there was nothing else yo recommend them, I would recommend them for being the most honest shop I have gone to in a decadeHowever they are reasonably priced for where they are located, and possibly some of the best mechanics I have ever seen.

I brought my car in for some relatively simple service and when they returned it to me they had to jump the battery. The battery wouldnt hold a charge and I had to buy a new one.

For many years now, Ive taken my vehicles to Dave and Eric. They are among the best in the business...always professional, honest, reasonably priced and timely. They set the standard for service.

The good:I heard great things about these guys and 99% of it was true. They were very polite, timely, and seemed very knowledgeable. They explained what was wrong, how much it would be, and what OEM parts they would use. They were great about working with my wacky schedule and letting me pay by card over the phone, and later pick up my car around midnight when I got off work.The bad:Three trips and my car was still having the same problem. First it was $600 to replace several valves and hoses to attempt to fix the vaccum leak causing my Volkswagen Jetta to have stiff breaks and run horribly. The next day, it began the same thing and I called and booked another appointment a week out. The next trip I paid $80 for another valve and hose - they were nice enough to not charge me labor. This time they assured me they has then replaced every plastic and rubber piece that could go wrong with the vaccum problem. Same thing, the next day, brakes once again got hard, idled roughly, and sounded horrible.I called back and scheduled an appointment again and they said they werent sure what it could be and would have to look at it. I ended up reading it away before my appointment, a week and a half out, came.Nothing against these guys, I would possibly do business with them again, but in the end, 3 stars because I was out $680 with the exact same problem. I gave them 3 stars because I felt that they were very fair and honest, just as I had heard. I took away the 2 because of obviously the mechanical problems still existing.

I cannot even put into words how great my experience with Floyds has been. I first went to them after paying $1,000 at a dealer for a problem that wasnt actually fixed. Then the dealer wanted to charge me another $100 to run the engine code again (though they did offer to wave the fee if they found that it came back as the same issue as before.) At that point though I was so far from done with them that I took my VW to Floyds for a second opinion. They ran the code for free, walked me through what the issues were, what to expect from the vehicle with how many miles it had, and what did/didnt need to be fixed right away. I eventually sold that car and bought a used VW GTI which the guys at Floyds inspected for free and seemed genuinely happy for me that I got a new car. You best believe I will not be taking that thing anywhere other than Floyd Imports.
