I don’t normally post reviews that are of a poor nature. However, I am greatly disappointed and question was it me or is this a general practice. I recently purchased a Porsche from a competitor of this store. Keep in mine my fiancé and I have purchased three cars in the last 10 years from the company. I have a minor issue and visited the store to arrange for the repair. The service representative refused to offer a loaner. He went on to say if you didn’t buy the vehicle from us, you will not be provided a loaner. I tried to purchase a vehicle from them in May. The inventory was sparse and they did not have a vehicle I was interested in and denied my request to dealer trade and/or search for one for me. Understanding the issues related to the pandemic, I looked at other stores.My initial goal was to purchase local. However, the situation dictated I seek other avenues. My experience with the BMW side has always been remarkable. However, this experience has been woefully inadequate Particularly considering the claim of excellent service Seems to me to be counterproductive if the goal is to increase business. Although this is a warranty claim. The store would profit from the business. Hopefully others will have better luck.Please also keep in mine the explanation to Porsche USA from the store was they didn’t have any loaners. Not the explanation I received, which was “we don’t provide loaners because you did t buy from Us”Update: I received a call from a staff member today who eloquently explained the situation and helped me regain confidence in Isringhausen. I can admit my experience previously had been outstanding. Although my criticism was terse it was never meant to disparage the all parts of the dealership. A special thanks to Brian Mitchell. He’s a credit to the organization.

My lease was up on my Volvo, your staff were always professional, responsive and kind in showing me alternatives. For a variety of factors, all outside of your staffs control, I purchased my Volvo outright instead of a new or newer vehicle. The purchase was the kind of thing one just cant pass up. Every step of the way the Isringhausen family stepped up and did not take advantage of the situation. That is why I came back. Thank you.

Fantastic Customer Service when I had a question about the Cars battery save function. Service Manager, Service Advisor and Service Technician ALL took time away from their busy day to speak with me and educate me on what and why the System was doing. I really appreciated the extra time and effort they showed and it wasnt requested by me... they voluntarily came forward to try to address my concerns. This level of Customer Service is rare these days and its something I will remember and reminded why I take my car to them for Service Work.

We decided to purchase a Porsche Panamera 4. We test drove an Audi A7, A8, Mercedes E Class and an Acura TL. The Porsche drove and performed the best. We had been looking for several months for the right color combination and this one came on the market. We have had a positive past experience with this dealership as we test drove another vehicle several years ago. We made contact by phone to schedule an appointment to view the vehicle. From the beginning the service was outstanding. The salesmen was very knowledgeable of the vehicle and was always very professional. To me, the way you are treated makes the experience. I called this morning inquiring about a 2021 Mercedes GT they have posted for sale, pressed option 2 for Mercedes sales, not option 1 for BMW, TJ answered the phone and told me the car is available, when asked if price is negotiable told me hell have to talk to the manager and get back to me. Called me an hour later, told me the car is being driven by the owners wife, has 3k miles on it and for that reason the price instead of $106k what was listed for, can be reduced to $103k. I asked to leave a deposit and come tomorrow to purchase it. He said alright, will have to arrange all this and call me back shortly. He disappeared for hours, I had to call back in the afternoon, just so he can tell me theres a potential deposit that theyre waiting for from another buyer that he was not aware of(neither the manager I guess), and its due Friday, I asked to talk to a manager, since I believe cars should be sold on a first come first serve basis, and not to be kept for deposits coming Friday. Manager called 15 mins later and changed the story that deposit is already received, and cant do nothing about it, didnt wanted to even talk to me. Im a owner of 4 Mercedes cars, dealt with 3 different dealerships in Chicago and Coral Gables Mercedes in FL where my vacation home is, Im a huge fan of the Mercedes brand, F1 team and Im part of Mercedes AMG Academy, Im a business owner, and have always been treated with utter respect when purchasing their vehicles, this dealership is a disgrace for the brand, reporting this issue to their corporate so others dont have to go thru the same ordeal I did.

The service department (Zach Parrish) was ready and waiting for me when I drove into Isringhausens service bay. Zach already knew what needed to be addressed on my Porsche and provided me with a loaner car. Zach even provided an extra bit of service that he did not have to: he had one of the service techs retrieve my wifes stylus from under the passenger seat where it had fallen and refused to allow itself to be found. This is just one of the reasons why the service at Isringhausen Motors is outstanding.

I have never had a more pleasant sales experience. The entire sales team was like a family. Scott was willing to answer every question, and bent over backwards to make certain that we were happy. He was engaging and allowed us to experience any vehicle we inquired about. There was zero pressure, and a passion for his product that he simply exuded... I was on the fence, never having owned a Volvo before... But Scott was a great teacher.Nathan was happy to answer any and all questions when Scott was unavailable, and wow, did Nathan know his product!!Anise was just wonderful... I have NEVER experienced a Sales Manager who actually came out of his office to speak with us face-to-face. Not.Ever. (and we do purchase more cars than we should... And in multiple states...) Other managers just shuttle their sales people back and forth like messengers, as if they were just too fabulous to be bothered by the likes of people who were buying their product...never again will I settle for that experience.The whole team was present when their best deal was offered, up-front. No haggling. It was a beautiful offer and I was ready to sign immediately. I am so happy to be a part of this Volvo family! Thank you, gentlemen for making my choice easy!

Brought in my vehicle for routine maintenance and Polestar upgrade. Dealership was very thorough and found a few things that needed fixing. Service took 9 hours, which felt a bit slow, but that could just be my own expectations. The one thing that brought a 5 star review to 4 is the cleaning. The vacuuming was not thorough and did not include the trunk. For the exorbitant price of routine maintenance, my hopes were higher.

When we received the notice that it was time for an oil change on our 2020 BMW X3, my wife and I decided to bring the car to you rather than causing you the expense of driving the 100 plus miles between Hannibal, Missouri and Springfield, Illinois. Your service team did an excellent job and returned our car to us cleaned and washed in a very timely manner. We were disappointed that no one was available to show us the how to use the parking assist function on the car, even though we had requested that someone be available in advance.

We have been looking for a Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 for some time now. I am the type to keep a car for 5 to 7 years, so it is important to me to get exactly what I am looking for. My mom moved down state to Central Illinois several years ago, so we decided to check the inventory nearby. Long story, short version, we ended up working with Mark. He was fantastic! I made a mistake about the interior color that was available versus what I wanted in the vehicle, and did not end up buying anything. He could have easily been annoyed, but instead, he was very helpful, and gave us many pointers on the best way to proceed with getting the car we wanted. He even ended up letting us test drive the car we thought we were going to buy, which sold us on the GLC. Despite basically wasting his time, he made us feel like valued customers. Since we have family in the area now, I hope we will one day be able to buy a car from Mark!

Nice place, but spent probably 5 minutes asking different people where the service desk was and received nothing more than a hand gesture. Thanks to Scott Sables at the Volvo dealership. This was moms first Volvo purchase and we had a lot of questions due to both of us being able to drive it. He was a very polite salesman and let me take the vehicle to my grandparents to make sure they liked it and could get in and out of the vehicle easily. My 98 year old grandfather was impressed with Scott and his willingness to go above and beyond his role as a salesman.We had looked at other vehicle dealerships and they told us that they would call us that week. Week went by and none of the dealerships called us back except for Scott. He was in constant contact with my mom, who had been very ill and I was taking car of the car shopping for.We got the vehicle and love it. Now my grandmother asks us every time we take her somewhere, Are we going to take the Volvo out for a spin, Leslie? You have to chuckle when you hear that.I even brought the car in this past weekend for the car wash and was impressed at how clean they got the vehicle in and out. The service advisor was the same young man that I had spoken to a couple of days prior to my visit, describing my problem. Brandon made sure he understood my anxiety, and attempted to correct my key malfunction by doing something with the battery and/or battery prongs. After determining I needed a new replacement key, he tried to minimize my waiting anxiety by providing regular updates as to the time each trial fix would take, then the actual repair. He respected my concern for the additional costs a side mirror base would cost to have tightened, and gave me the cost for consideration for a later repair. Brandon was a very thorough and caring representative to me

The work done took a little longer than either of expected. Jeremy accommodated me with a loaner vehicle for the weekend while my Volvo was at the dealership. Isringhausen has a nice lounge/waiting area, and everyone I spoke to there were extremely nice. Ill definitely be going back.

I recently relocated to Springfield from New York and needed to lease a new car. I knew what I wanted and requested a quote on their website and immediately got a reply from Dave Heimlich. Everything went super smoothly from then on. Dave helped me customize the car to my liking, got me approved for the lease, and kept me updated throughout the whole process.I stopped by the dealership the day after I arrived and there was my car, all shiny and waxed waiting for me at the front. Dave took his time to explain all the extras and functions of my new car. He even got someone to drive my rental car back to the airport so I could drive my brand new BMW 328 home. I had my BMW 3 Series in for scheduled maintenance, and a couple of very small nicks on the rear bumper repaired. All was handled smoothly and efficiently - perfect, in fact. I was always aware of my cars status, etc. The loaner was a new BMW X3 Series - very pleased that it was not a Ford Fiesta or some such (for example) that some dealerships utilize for loaner vehicles. I would first like to say that I have purchased many vehicles for myself and my business over the past 30 years from foreign to domestic models. I have worked with no fewer than 8 different dealerships. Recently I decided to purchase another Porsche but this time I wanted a limited production vehicle. I knew this was going to be very difficult since most limited production vehicles where allocated to buyers very quickly. I had meet Geoff Isringhausen Jr. last year and had a chance to tour their dealership and was very impressed with their friendly staff and great selection of new and used Porsches. So naturally I was drawn to them to discuss my desire to purchased a limited production Porsche. I met with Geoff to discuss my options and right away he gave me several ideas on what type of cars would be of value and where he could find them. Geoff ultimately found exactly what I wanted and he made it happen is a short period of time and was incredible to work with in every detail. Other dealerships that I spoke to did not think out of the box nearly as well as Geoff had. I can honestly say that when I am in the market for another car, foreign or domestic, Geoff and Isringhausen will be my first call and I will be their best form of advertising. Great place to buy a car. Seeing all the BMWs and Mercedes I figured it was out of my price league but their used selection is actually affordable and very nice.

I am always thinking about Isringhausen since I see so many of the vehicles with the license plate holder with their names all over town. If you really want a good experience in buying a luxury vehicle, I suggest paying a visit to Isringhausen. You wont feel pressured and youll see that the staff really listens to your needs and wants in order to get you in the vehicle that youve desired. Youll also get the nice advantage of having a day tour of Springfield, which a great small town. Looking forward to my next visit soon!

Found the car I liked at Isringhausen but needed them to hold it for two weeks until I came to the area (I am from Arizona). It was a pleasure to work with Brad Miller. I paid a deposit and when I inspected the car it was in great shape and I bought it. My impression is that this is a huge dealer (you also may want to check out there Mercedes and Porsche collections), who does serious business and values its reputation over cutting a quick deal. Exactly the kind of style I like, even though their prices are not the lowest.

We purchased a 2019 Volvo XC60 last week from Isringhausen. Our sales rep was Scott Sables, who made us a very good deal and conscientiously walked us through all the vehicles new features upon delivery. Scott is very pleasant to work with and not at all pushy. Were happy we bought this car at Isringhausen because they provide good service, you can call them if you are having problems with your car when out of town or if you dont understand a feature, and they give back to the community in the form of charitable sponsorships.

A rear end collision while my husband was stopped at a stop light totaled his car (which he really loved) and he needed a new one very quickly. We met with Scott Sables at Isringhausen and he was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, patient, sincere and a very interested and interesting person. We did not find the perfect fit but as we were leaving the lot a vehicle that we had seen online had been returned from a test drive. We test drove and purchased that Lexus, but it really was remarkable that although Scott showed us many cars and was very compelling in his knowledge of the vehicles, he never pressured us into purchasing a vehicle. He was very respectful and made us feel that he wanted us to find the right car as much as we did. He went the extra mile and helped us sync both of our phones with my husbands new car and even helped me sync my new phone with an RX350 which I had previously purchased at Isringhausen. We had several other vehicles to see both in Springfield and Quincy but were delighted to find the right car and purchase at Isringhausen. It was a pleasure working with Scott Sables and we will be back the next time we need a car!

I have bought a lot of cars in my lifetime but I have never been treated as well as I have at Isringhausens. They truly try to accommodate you, not as customer, but rather as a friend of their dealership family. They always listen, do great work, and make sure that you are satisfied as a customer. It was 2012 - my first and flawless transaction at Isringhausen Imports. But one year later I found myself with “unfortunate vehicle”. My initial reaction in state of panic - had to gather as much information as possible. I checked my options at home in Chicago. All dealers who I spoke to told me almost the same: “Talk to Isringhausen first. This is Old School respectable business.” And so I did. Best. Service. Ever. Passing through town and had AC issue with my BMW. They helped me out and got my car fixed, dropped me off and picked me up from my hotel while my car was being repaired. Couldn’t say anything better about them. First class service!Worked with Jeremey and Clem. Both are stand up guys. Clem was down to earth and very polite. I’d make the three hour trip for service in the future just to work with these gents.

They were very friendly, courteous and accommodating. The waiting area was clean and comfortable.

They have a nice inventory of German sports cars and an excellent facility. I spoke with several different people during the three times I visited and here are the results.They have a lot of 911s, but not many of the car I am interested in, the Cayman.Brian Fitzgerald: Brian was the first person I spoke with at Isringhausen. Cool guy, laid back, not pushy at all (doesnt need to be...German sports cars sell themselves and he knows it), very knowledgeable, polite (asked me if I wanted coffee, water, etc). Took me on a tour of the back warehouse where they keep the $2,000,000 Porsche 918 (that alone made the hour-and-a-half drive worth it). He knew my first name when I returned the next week, which is always a plus.Jeff Colman: Needs to work on his interpersonal and communication skills. Comes across as a complete jerk.Jeff Edmiston: Said he didn’t have time to work with me because his daughter had a birthday party.

Their Volvo techs and parts guy are awesome! They went above and beyond for me and I have to say this isnt the first time their level of customer service is truly world class! Keep it up!

From beginning to delivery, Geoff was super responsive, super detailed and super fair with pricing. I live 3 hours away but that wont stop me from buying another car from Isringhausen in the near future. Thanks for making it so easy.
