Its too expensive so I am giving it a 3 star! I have no clue why everything here is so expensive that students have hard time to buy anything from here. At least the some items should be less costly so that everyone can buy and have something with the MSU bear logo. That would be awesome!!

Good selection, very nice/friendly older gentleman waited on us, quality items but like most all campus stores- a little pricey. Sales were good.

The Bookstore always has a great selection of BearWear, souvenirs, books of course, and the staff are always so helpful and friendly. While the prices may be a little high, if you catch them with the sales or snag an occasional coupon, it totally makes it worth it. The clothes are always so comfortable and feel and wear as though they are made to last.

Very large bookstore that should have everything you need from textbooks, to backpacks, umbrellas and school supplies, this bookstore really does have everything.

To any incoming freshman dont fall for the bookstore. If you want to be over charged by hundreds of dollars then go here. Otherwise, you can find every book you need online for less than half the price they sell them for. By far and away one of the biggest scams. I urge you to save your time and money and look elsewhere for your books that you only need for a semester instead of spending $150 on a used book that they will inevitable add damage expenses to.

They are always clean, easy to navigate, and very friendly.

I dont think I have ever had an issue with this store. The variety is decent. More to the point, its convenient in both location and function. The staff always help, sometimes bending over backwards to do so.

Great university bookstore. Awesome selection of bear wear and gifts. Now renting textbooks which is a huge savings for students. Order your textbooks online and pick up in store. Apple products in the computer store.

Prices on everything are at a bit of a premium, but thats a University bookstore for you. Well-organized store with attractive displays and helpful staff. Purchased many things here over the years from clothing, to tech, to books. Cozy atmosphere.

If you decide to not save money buy buying your books used online, or just ran out of time, this bookstore will hook you up, and fast. Fast service, excellent staff, and everything is organized. Its the best, out of three college bookstores that Ive shopped at, by far.

First off, I am an online student only, and as such I will base my review from that standpoint. My first semester I ordered online, and drove the hour and half one way, to the store to pickup my books, there were no issues. The rest of my semesters I would compare and it was usually cheaper to order my books from Amazon, and I knew that I would get them within 2 days. My last semester there was actually one of my books that was much cheaper from the bookstore so I ordered it there and had it shipped. I was advised by others that I know about issues they had, but went ahead and tried, surely not ALL orders are that way, right? The online order status that they offer on their website is fairly useless, the only status it ever showed was processing, because of this I called to check on my order and I was told it would ship the next day. After a couple days I looked online, status was the same so I called to verify again. This time I was told that the books would be arriving there later that day and it would be picked and processed then. Finally about 4 days after that I received a notification that they had shipped, with an expected delivery 2 days after classes start. If you use them as an online student I highly recommend that you order plenty in advance, as it will take a fair amount of time, you will be unaware of backorders and they can not seem to give you a real update, even when you call them. These issues were the exact same I was advised about, so if you order and have them shipped, just plan ahead because the process could be very slow to get them.

Has meter parking. MSU bookstore. Not much parking but student workers helpful. Sell computers and tablets help you meet your needs. Also other school supplies. They can better answer any questions you have.

Visited here with my daughter on a campus tour. Staff was friendly and helpful. A huge selection in every price range for MSU attire. Will most likely be spending a lot of money there in the upcoming years.

Pretty nice place, everyone is friendly. Like every other collage book store the prices are high but what do you do.

1. Prices are ridiculous! Yeah you can charge it to your account but what’s the point in adding interest when it’s double the cost of other places to start.2. They need to put holiday hours on google so that we don’t drag our families here on break to find that they are closed.

Is as great as a campus bookstore can be. Prices are high, but the staff is helpful and kind. The store is neat, though it can be slightly chaotic at times. Plan accordingly when shopping for textbooks and MSU wear if youre anxious around crowds.

Buyback was better than textbucks, just barely. They also accepted a book that textbucks wouldnt. However, they still did not accept two of them even though I bought them there. My total when I bought them was $800, selling back the ones I could I got $63.25, (textbucks was willing to give me $40), which is pathetic but I only took it so Id have money for food this week. The layout of the store is not ideal for its demographic as hundreds of students pour in and the lines get ridiculous during back to school season. If its not a book or an electronic its hard to find what you need because the sections are not well thought out. Workers are a hit or miss, most of the time they treat you like an imbecile. Obviously everything is horribly overpriced, in my opinion being cool and having bearwear is not worth it. Still, if youre able to charge to your account so you can worry about it later when youre paying off your mountains of debt, this is the easiest place to go. Its in a nice location just by the student union. Only do buyback during finals time or youre really getting nothing. Actually just sell your books online- eBay is great.

I love shopping in the bookstore. Although, if it were easier to travel through sections of it, I would rate it higher. Some areas are hard to navigate due to the volume of merchandise.

I get the fact that they sell collegiate apparel but the prices are outrageous! I could see high prices if they were an SEC school, but come on theyre a state university in Missouri. Go to Wal-Mart to get your gear!

Every time we go to the bookstore its such a hassle. For example, we just got back from our honeymoon and the book/access code was not available for purchase before we left. We went to the bookstore today (as the summer class has already started) and they dont have the access code. We were toldwere making room for fall classes and they MIGHT have the access code online. How does the campus bookstore not have the materials students need to complete one of their courses? Yes, it is an inconvenience.

Obviously everything here is way overpriced. They can do this since they are one of the few places that sells the college themed items and bearwear. Most students put everything on their BearPass. I have been super disappointed upon trying to get my textbooks here. They are the only place to get certains textbooks and I have been waiting several weeks into the semester to get mine. 😡 Unfortunately they are in a place that they can get away with what they want to. High prices and low college student wages with no benefits is great money making scheme.

Everyone that works here always acts like you have done something to personally offended them. That or they think youre an idiot, its hard to tell sometimes. I would not recommend any MSU student deal with the bookstore on campus. Parking is a nightmare. Have your orders shipped to you, its free.

Its overpriced and poorly organized. I do not for the life of me understand why there is a huge make up stand in the middle of a book store. I wish they just stuck to books and kept the rest of the crap at another store on campus.

There was a kind bald man who greeted me! I think his name started with an S. The student employees seemed very enthusiastic about their jobs! They had decorated the service counter with beautiful hanging maroon pom-poms. All of the employees were helpful! One employee seemed to enjoy her job so much that she danced (albeit poorly) to all of the songs! These employees deserve an award... a Keurig for their break room perhaps? I was confused why stuffed ducks and pigs were sold wearing bear wear, I didnt realize they would change their allegiance so willingly. All in all 10/10 would shop there especially if Linn, Flaire, or Kashely offer to buy my textbooks for me.

Overpriced yes, but beautifully organized, great amenities, and friendly service. One of the best campus bookstores Ive been to.
