Very friendly and helpful employees. Great customer service. They have pretty much anything if youre looking for something small or big. If youre looking into repurposing materials they have a big selection of cabinets, lighting, electrical, doors, windows etc. All in good shape. Below are just some of the things they have, too many to list.
Lots of things to go through. Wide assortment of doors, windows, pretty much anything youre looking for. Very helpful
I like EcoBuilding Bargains because theres something for everyone. I went there and an old wine rack caught my eye. I wasnt expecting to buy a wine rack but it spoke to me...buy me, buy me so I did lol. I just had my bathroom remodeled last year. I have a modern sink but now I want a vintage cast iron sink. I think a cast iron sink would add character to the bathroom. EcoBuilding Bargains is great if youre a do-it-your selfer or if youre a klutz like me and need to hire an expert.I visited EcoBuilding Bargains again on January 10th and noticed that they were bringing in another Viking range. I was told that this one was newer than the Viking range I previously show you. I took some pics of this range also a not so good video of this range as well. Hear goes!!!!
Love this place. You never know what kind of neat home building supplies you can find. Im very happy that Springfield has its own store of building products that are more sustainable for the environment!
Good to remodel your kitchen or bathroom.
I went there to get a piece of granite and they wouldnt let me get it, they said their doing inventory it was closed for the whole day they didnt have anything posted saying that.they give no notice. they were extremely rude and the day before I went there the cashier was very rude when I asked her for a tape measure and she barely helped me at all, She stood there talking to her coworker and ignored me.
Travellers, this can be a great place for household renovation needs. You can buy entire kitchens here. It is worth the time to look and this should be the first stop in your shopping endeavors. Lighting, doors, sinks, furniture, and so many recycled items to see. Know what you want and understand the policies because sometimes customer service can be difficult and inflexible. Still worth the trip. Check it out. We recommend.
It started out as a nice place to find bargins from donations years ago. . now it turned into a high dollar how much money can we get from you. very few bargins . all that you here there is we have to make this much today .
Awesome budget place
Not a bad place to save some money on high items stuff, like replacement doors, toilets, sinks, counter tops, but unfortunately their inventory is very limited, but overall a nice place
Found exactly what I was looking for. FYI, if you see something you like get it then, because chances are it might not be there the next time you go in.
I got an old 10x10 beam that I’m going to use for a rustic mantle.Super surprised when I found it and the price was 👌🏼 spot on.Can’t wait to add photo of when it’s completed. Definitely come here if you want some unique things to spruce up your apartment/ House. You never know what you are going to find that’s for sure
Seems like their pricing is getting a little more delusional in the last 2 years. more and more products blocking the walkways because they are trying to charge too much for used products that need refinishing and no one is buying. This is used product that they got for free and are trying to charge retail for. Be cautious, the things need work to be useable again
So much great stuff! If youre looking for affordable doors, windows, entire kitchen cabinet sets, or almost anything, go check it out. Theres excellent bargains to be had and tons of good quality, used stuff there. Really great if youre trying to find period/dated replacement things for your home. Love it!
Picked up an awesome ceiling lamp.
Just went in here recently and they were some of the nicest and most helpful people. Very concerned with the health of patrons and adhering to strict rules to enter the store 👍👌 awesome
Didnt have what I was looking for & not enough new sinks to choose from.
Love poking around here!
I always find excellent deals if youre looking for a deal on any particular thing thats the place to go and the help a very courteous and very helpful
Too expensive for used items. I love reusing as much as I can, so I was very disappointed when old cabinets were being sold for $800 because they look like they are ‘rustic’. I recommend Habitat for Humanity ReStore if you’re looking for a good deal on second-hand items.
You would think the staff would help you load heavy building materials, SURPRISE, after you pay, you are on your own. I noticed two ladies loading doors and heavy windows, by themselves. You save a few dollars, but how much money spent at the DR. office ?
I really was impressed with the bargains you cant find this product in any on the home store today. I found exactly what I was looking for and am planning another trip so I can walk around and look at all they carry. Much of the items are very unique and from older homes, made of good quality.
Great finds! The staff were very helpful.
Good
Used house stuff. Bath tubs sinks doors. Etc....
I love this place! As the proud but often frustrated owner of an 1890s Victorian never ending project house (15 years of repairs and still not done) that has suffered some undignified renovations at the hands of previous owners, I find myself trekking down here any time I need spare parts :) not only do i always find period appropriate doors, hardware, and trim boards, the staff are awesome and friendly and super helpful (a special shout out to Jose! Thanks man!) and i always look forward to coming in!
I have been a customer since it opened, I talked great things to many other people about this place you could find many items even items I have never seen before, the workers there are great and friendly very helpful but as the years went by prices has sky rocketed so much that I rather go to Lowe’s or home depot the new owners have taken what was a place to help others who couldn’t afford nice things in there homes to only thinking about themselves a high percentage are donated for free to the store as I also donated myself thinking someone else could benefit from the items but I have even seen the stuff I’ve donated way too high priced and still sitting there, this is not right they start off good helping people then they screw the people I bet they help themselves with the best items for themselves just like the Salvation Army was doing with the higher ups (only my opinion). Overall it was and could still be a great store by easing up on the prices or having frequent sales on there items otherwise the store is getting packed like crazy and will continue todo so if the prices keep going up.
Awesome place to find all kinds of recycled building materials.
Want to do some good for the environment and help a non profit as well. Donate your used lights, cabinets, woodwork, almost anything that others could use and look around for new, used, old or an antique you can use in your next project. They have everything from floor tiles to kitchen sinks to antique marble slabs, mantles and huge old doors or cupolas.
Love this eco friendly, cost effective store! They have new and vintage building supplies. They have everything you can imagine. Cabinets and entire kitchen sets, appliances, doors, windows, molding, tiles. Everything is resourced or recycled. Their prices are fair and they even have a free section. Hours are standard 9-5. Very helpful staff. They stock hinges and plumbing, vanities and sinks, faucets and more.
Great customer service. Big selection of pre-owned building materials, reclaimed doors, windows, wood beams and wooden furniture. They also have cool vintage stoves, tile, recycled paint. A fun treasure hunt with lots of inspiration.
I want to give it Five Stars, I really do, and so I have because they do one of the finest jobs at reclaiming building materials and repurposing vintage hardware for contemporary use. They also continue to feature a nice selection of luxury goods from appliances to kitchen cabinets from Kohler to Fischer-Paytel, usually at a discount so incredible it’s mind-blowing, but oftentimes, particularly with used products that are luxury brands the discount is not much different that you might find new at a discount bathroom or kitchen outlet. And the “restocking fee” for a late pick-up is for the birds.
When they say bargains they arent kidding. Amazing deals on high end cabinets and appliances. Example - 2 viking ovens for 1K
Ecobuilding bargains has a treasure trove of home products. Their prices are amazing! When I visited they had a large selection of furniture dressers, desks, end tables all at great prices. The prices were better than Savers and The Salvation Army. They had a beautiful roll top desk for $14.99 The desk was in beautiful condition with only one tiny scratch. They have a huge selection of both interior and exterior doors, windows, light fixtures, the list goes on and on. Anyone looking to renovate, update, or do home projects should definitely go here first. Not only is it great for your budget it is great for the environment!
Unfortunately, the prices arent that great considering the shape of some of the building materials for sale. Service is almost nonexistent. Its definitely hit or miss shopping here.
They advertised a product,I drive 40 min and got there and they did not have any, the lady told me it was just a stock picture to show things that they sometimes have it was not advertised that way. Just a big waste of time.
This place is great - especially if you have an old house with hard to match door sizes! Came out with a door we can shave to work and 3 that were free!! Such a fantastic idea!!
Love this store. Whenever I have a project to do in my home or anywhere else my shop I always go to this place first they always have some fine quality products everything from Cabinetry to toilets to plumbing supplies anything you need because I believe in reuse recycle and find that the use things that I get here in excellent condition and provide me with the years of service that I could come to expect from new products why throw away something when its still a great product for somebody else love this place, just love it . I always say dont throw it donate it
Not for profit. Great bargains on used building items. Large selection of kitchen cabinets, bathroom item like sinks, tubs, etc. Many other home accessories chandeliers, doors, desks. New items every day. They had a bowling alley the day I was there. Oak flooring.
Be careful when you buy stuff from here and make sure you have what you ordered delivered. I spent over six grand here and they didnt deliver everything they sold me and refused to refunds. The stuff that actually made it to my house needed expensive repairs. Just go to Home Depot youll get the same quality but at least youll have a return policy. Overall it was a bad experience.
Great place to buy and save money. Awful morning manager. I went to buy a window and it didnt have a price on it. An employee came and measure it and gave me the price on the window. Next day I come to buy it and the manager is adding 20 dollars more to the price and told me.about a story of some woman wanting it and it used to cost double of what he was asking. He didnt want to stand by the price his employee quoted me the day before. He said he was the manager and I take it or leave and acted as the owner of the place. I will be going the in the late afternoon to avoid this manager. The other employees are very nice and helpful though.
Feast or famine is the game. Always great items at unbeatable prices.Just might not have what you need for your project. It is like Christmas morning, where you are opening presents hoping to get what you have your heart set upon.
I love all the old fixtures and other items you can find here. Great place for home repair DIY projects. I bought an awesome set of cubbies from an old classroom for my kids outerwear and I payed a great price!
This place is so good I was tempted to say its awful so less people would know about it. SO much cool stuff. Hard working staff with good attitudes. I recommend tipping if they help you load up. You save $300 on an appliance, throw out a 20. Its just the right thing to do.
Support Eco Life
Just so cool to visit this place. Also, donate building materials you dont need... avoid a landfill and help others that need those items.
Amazing community service & great business. Fabulous options for high quality re-usable cabinets, appliances, doors & more.
Cool place to get materials pretty cheap. You would have to go often to catch the best deals.
I realize it is hit or miss stire but was disappointed it wouldnt break up a set of cabinets. I certainly didnt want $4250 worth of cabinets for two units which wouldve worked, matching color and style on what I need. Personnel was pretty good. Would go there again to seek out used building supplies.
A unique place to find those one-of-a-kind house hold pieces. Whether that be french doors, to vintage outdoor lanterns to eclectic door knobs, this place has something that will spark your eye. Its a beautiful large spacious building to walk around in. The prices are agreeable and sometimes a total bargain if your willing to do a little fixer-uppers.
Good 👍
Great place.
I love just walking through the aisles and finding interesting stuff. Yesterday I walked out with a bunch of LED bulbs, cabinet knobs, two frames, and a mirror—all for about $20. This place is super for finding doors, windows, tubs, sinks, cabinet sets, lighting—just about anything you could need for a remodel. The prices are great, and we get to bypass the product waste stream.
Darcy and the staff were all wonderful and very helpful! We will definitely be back just from the customer service.
Lots of stuff to pick from, just have to have the time to look through it.
Worth the trip to buy quality products at discount prices.Fun place to get creative.
This place is a hit or miss. Sometimes you can find amazing rare items for your construction project but most of the time not. I have also found them selling used doors that are completely painted with lead paint. Very disturbing
I always find something I didnt know I needed here. Great prices!! Ive made many purchases here.
Just love strolling thru so many good used items for DIY projects for your home
A great place to find all sorts of cool things.
Love this place. Good mix of old and newer.
The restore has allowed us to rebuild our house to be my dream home. They are very helpful. I find something everytime I go there even if it isnt what I came there for. Everyone should go there first.

Great place for used stuffs special for home use items
Very nice old and new stuff must use your mind to use the stuff lots of great stuff
Nick at ecobuilding gave me a great idea to use an old kitchen cabinet to replace my bath cabinet, when i could find a small enough bath cabinet in inventory. i found a door, basin, accessories and marble on the same visit, added some of my hardwood floor remnants, and came up with this unique piece. repurposing rocks!
Found everything i was looking for at a good price
Too bad about the 1 hour wait to get in...but was able to score a quality window at a good price.
Tons of stuff in great condition! A great place to find stuff to upcycle.
Architectural salvage of all types, some in good condition, some not. We found a vintage vanity sink, and there are lots of solid interior doors and cabinetry.
Really cool place has a little something of everything, really kool staff helpful and informative.
A good selection of used construction materials. You have to get an idea for your project in order to get everything you need to do it. Hours Tuesday to Sunday.
Great idea. Giving stuff a new life - love it!
Found shutters for $5 each. Very exciting.
Great place, will go more often. Friendly, reasonable
Very nice place with good prices. Staff are very helpful
Nails were way to expensive!
I went looking for some doors I needed and this one particular worker there by the name of Jose was very helpful and very patient working with me, thanks jose and God bless you.
They have everything good prices
Great prices on truly high quality building materials. You never know what you will find!
Had just what I was looking for
I love coming here looking for items before going to buying new. Prices are very good.
Cool place with a lot of neat things at reasonable prices
Amazing selection. Pedestal sinks between 40-75 dollars. Kohler and vintage. Store associates were helpful and friendly . New favorite store.
Love this place.. youll find all sorts of recycled building products to repurpose here.
Selection has dropped of dramatically. Cant bargain with them anymore. Used to be you could go in there and select a chair, or a lamp, etc maybe marked $25.00 and they would readily accept a $20 for it. No more. Seems the new mgt. looking to make big bucks??All the stuff is donated (I just donated three new items that were excess in my inventory).Oh well.
Good prices good sales teams
Large selection of windows and doors. Staff was very friendly and quick to help.
This is a GREAT place. We found a couple of badly needed parts, well made long ago.BUT What is troubling, is that some of the employees may be hording some products for themselves - or perhaps for sale? The butcher blocks, for example. We were told there there are some, then not, then YES again - by someone who was not in the circle? Employees do not get first dibs, do they? That would be unethical.
Had what I needed to fix an old house
They didnt have what I want it this time but its always an interesting place to visit sometimes you get the greatest finds
Great selection of items. Lots of vintage doors windows and sinks. Some.cool vintage stoves.
AWESOME Store......so.much stuff and the prices are amazing.....staff were extremely helpful.....very organized...can find just about anything for your home .....Highly recommend and all recycled.....two thumbs ☝
