Update:Best price out there on vinyl siding. Beats all others everyday price. Plus, the local delivery and quick response from customer service saves so much hassle, its like saving money again!Orginal: Best price on 42 or 48 culvert double wall pipe! Better price than ordering it thru big box stores by a few hundred. Also, local delivery is awesome! If I ordered thru big box, Ive have to rent a truck and trailer to get 20 pipe home. Saving a lot of money at this store! Also, read some of the other reviews. This is not a big box store. It looks like homeowners, like myself, are able to be serviced, but due to their hours, volumes of stock in their yard, and location (get semi trucks in and out without hassle of traffic), Id say the majority of the customers are professional home builders, large property managers, and local governments. Im just glad I was able to be a customer too.

I feel that your hours are not very convenient for people working on home projects on the weekend. I think that you close the store too early on Saturdays and that you should also be open at least until noon on Sundays. Many people like myself work regular jobs thru the week and sometimes even Saturday. I would prefer to shop at Carter Lumber as opposed to the big box stores. Your limited hours on weekends are making this difficult to do. I have had occasions in the past where in the middle of a job, I needed more material from you, and you were closed. I then had to travel to Bechtle Avenue to complete the job.Also, your website quote calculator does not work. I tried it today to get a quote on buying a box ( 2 square ) of vinyl siding and it would not work. This pricing option should at least work, since you dont post prices on your site and your hours are not convenient.

Ive always had great service at Carter Lumber. The staff is made up of guys that know how to build. They have what I need and there prices usually beat other stores with framing. Its worth a phone call or a drive. Im heading there today for soffit and facia.
