Do not shop here! Horrible experience - first and last time I will purchase something from The Lamp Stand. They really dont care about their customers - just about the bottom line. I paid for priority shipping, and instead of receiving the package within 4 business days, its already been 11 business days, and Im still waiting. They switched it to the cheapest shipping - SmartPost (DumbPost, really). My package was sitting in my city yesterday at 6:51 am, and they changed the status from delivering to me by end of day to in transit to post office. Today its still sitting in my city somewhere, but now it says its pending! Customer service is awful and useless. It was a gift for someone who was visiting over the weekend. Now theyre gone, and Ill have to pay to ship this heavy package to them when it finally arrives. More money out of my pocket after wasting so much time and dealing with so much frustration. You may save money in the short term by being cheap, but in the long run, you are losing customers! NEVER AGAIN!
I was hesitant to buy from The Lamp Stand because Im not in the same state and because I hadnt heard of them before. Im so glad I did though because my Royal Albert tea pot was sold out everywhere else. When I placed my order with The Lamp Stand, I was worried that maybe they wouldnt be able to special order from royal albert. However, when I emailed customer service about it, they were very helpful and updated me when royal albert confirmed their order. I would buy from here again. Also, they are very liberal with the bubble wrap, which is good when youre buying delicate things.
One of the worst customer experiences I have had, but not because people werent nice, but because every single person I spoke to, and their systems, are incompetent. First, I placed an order that was out of stock but no indication on line when I placed the order and no email indicating that the order would not be shipped in a reasonable time frame. Second, when two weeks passed, I contacted the company and was told that the item was not in stock and would not be shipped out for approximately one month. I explicitly said that was not acceptable and said that I wanted the order cancelled and requested email confirmation to cancel the order. I never received the requested email and apparently, the customer service person I spoke to never cancelled the order nor did they document the conversation. Third, after receiving the item I no longer wanted (I purchased it thru another reseller), I contacted the company and apparently spoke to the manager of customer service. I explained what had transpired and the gentleman was clueless about how to manage an upset customer. I explained that I did not want the item and he just told me to put the item out of my porch and Fedex would come and pick it up. I knew that is not how it worked and asked him if they were going to send me a call tag to print - he assured me that wasnt necessary and Fedex would come that afternoon and that he would refund my money as soon as Fedex picked up the item. Again, I asked for email confirmation, which never arrived. An hour later, I contacted Fedex and asked them if they had been instructed to pick up a package at my house and they of course told me NO which is what I expected, so I called the company again and again asked for Fedex to pick up the package - she reiterated everything the previous individual did and again, I asked for email confirmation. However, this time, she did send me a link to print a Fedex return label. But, she assured me that once Fedex picked up the package, they would refund my money. However, she never informed Fedex to pick up the package - so I again needed to contact Fedex to pick up the package and they never initiated the refund. I needed to call the company again. So...I needed to contact the company 4 times and Fedex twice to send back a package that I would never have ordered if their inventory system was accurate. What a total waste of time. Why couldnt a single person have done their job correctly?
AWFUL! I WISH I HAD NEVER ORDEREDI purchased online on August 14th and I regret buying. OFFSHORE CUSTOMER SERVICE which is ridiculous. I have called multiple times and have never been able to find out when I will get my order. Website stated, In-stock packages from Lamp Stand typically ship the same or next business day . It has been 7 days and my order status has never changed on the website.

Bought plates I needed before Thanksgiving. Paid for expedited shipping. Was noticed they don’t have them in stock 2 days after the purchase. They are still on the website for immediate shipping. Got an actual email asking if we wanted a refund or they could ship to us in mid February. And our credit card was charged immediately.
Easy to navigate site and find products that I like, especially when dealing with olfactory sense products it is great to see popularity or recommendations...super saver shipper seemed longer than expected though, but once in 4 orders is not a problem.
Do NOT order! Customer service is HORRIBLE! I placed an order on Nov. 26th, and I still have not received it. I have reached out to their customer service three times & NOTHING.
Caution: placed an order and they took my money mid-October. As of today, December 2, I still haven’t received my order and customer service is totally unhelpful. Spend your money at a different retailer! 👎🏼

I placed an order with this company for a tree topper finial. There was a problem that occurred with shipping on the first shipment. I emailed them and they got back with me within a few hours with a solution. I just received my new tree topper and Im so happy! Thank you so much for great customer service and a beautiful tree topper. My family and I will enjoy it for many Christmases.
Ordered on the 15 th they shipped 4 days later, slow to answer, shipping is high and phones are a great way to spend 40 minutes, like they say, fool me once
Worst experience of the holiday season. Purchased a Radko ornament that was broken in shipment. Ornament was out of stock, so we chose another; it had 2 sizes, without discussing with me that ornament came in 2 sizes they sent the mini one; it was ridiculous on a 10 ft. tree. Paid the return shipping chg. then they charged me a restocking fee of 7.95 on a $30.00 ornament when they made the mistake in the first place. Way to go. Never shop @ this place.
I am amazed with the customer service. I had not previously ordered through The Lamp Stand, but once I did, they sure WOW you with their personal customer service -- ABSOLUTELY UNHEARD OF! I was contacted to confirm my order, as a couple items were on back order, and it was an actual person -- not a mass email, but a human that was genuine regarding the status of my order. I havent even received my order yet, but Im sure that based on the service Ive received just placing my order -- I will be pleased with the delivery as well! Kudos to Excellent Customer Service!
The store offers a variety of home decor stuff. And you will definitely leave with a want list in your head. If you can afford it, it would be a great place to shop.

I ordered the WoodWick reed diffuser refill in the Patchouli scent. In NO WAY was this scent Patchouli.I looked at the on-line photo of the Patchouli and the oil as shown is lighter in color than the one I received. There is no indication on the actual bottle of oil as to the fragrance, only on the box it comes in. Maybe the Patchouli is out of stock, so I was sent something else? Anyway, I checked on their return policy and I cant return it since I used it (thats how I know it wasnt Patchouli) . . . Wont order from them again.
