I made the mistake of going into Premier Sports Cars in Springfield today to look at adding a car to my fleet. Their was three salesman there and even though one was very busy at his desk trying to purchase inventory at an online auction he was the most helpful. The other two however acted as if they could not be bothered by me and finally the lady asked the other guy to assist me. This gentleman huffed and puffed at the thought of helping me, however he did finally get up and walk with me around to look at a few of of cars. I told him who I was and why I was there and he still showed no interest in actually helping me. He acted as if I had no business being there looking at cars that cost 6 figures to purchase. However what he doesnt know is I could have bought every car there......twice!! The salesman there need to learn some serious customer service skills and more importantly to not judge anyone that walks through their door. In todays world their are over 1,700 new Millionaires made every single day, and today they had an opportunity to sell to one of them. However I will take my business elsewhere where Im actually treated like a person and Im not a bother to the salesman.Shout out to August Luxury Motor Company for always A1 customer service and treating everyone as equals no matter what your background is.

I flew into town to see the vehicle prior to purchasing but many people buy from him sight unseen. You can buy with confidence from them. I would buy another car from him when the time comes.

Determined to find the perfect 911 Turbo after a lifetime of dreaming about it, took me six weeks of daily on-line searching! I found my way to Chris at Premier, seeing an array of stunning cars on his website, including an incredible 911 Turbo. He readily arranged to have the car inspected, being sure to get it to the mechanic on a dry day! I recently purchased a used Porsche Carrera GTS from Nic at Premier Sports Cars and had the best car buying experience I have ever had – hands down. I have been shopping for this car a long time and wanted a very specific configuration. I live 1400 miles away from Springfield, MO so everything was done via phone and email until I picked the car up. Nic knew the entire history of the car and was able to provide extensive documentation and patiently answered all my questions. The negotiation process was fair and we quickly agreed upon a number. I flew out a few days later and the car far exceeded my expectations in terms of condition. It as immaculate and in perfect mechanical condition. Would rate a 4.5 if I could, but I rounded down. Chris is great to work with, very knowledgeable and a long history of finding unique cars with the right options. The car was as photographed and as described except for excess tire wear due to heat and road rash on the under-carriage. I decided to surprise my husband with a new vehicle and had a particular color and model in mind. I knew my husband would LOVE to own a Porsche, traditional body style, and if possible - in dark green w/ tan interior. I searched far and wide (I live in California) and came across Premier Sports Cars. I made an inquiry one evening and Chris responded right away. We were on the phone within 24 hours to discuss the 2009 911 Carrera S in British Racing Green w/ tan interior - and with only 5700 miles on it. I was concerned about making this kind of purchase without viewing the vehicle/test driving it, etc. Chris encouraged a third party inspection and really stood behind his vehicle. I agree with another reviewer that Chris is a tough negotiator - he knows what his cars are worth. I can say that I am thoroughly pleased with the vehicle, the process, and the professionalism. The car was shipped to me in an enclosed transport in pristine condition. All paperwork accompanied the vehicle in perfect order. I would not hesitate to work with Chris again. If I am ever in need of another high quality sports car/premier vehicle, I will check with Chris. Most important of all - my husband LOVED it!

My experience with Premiere Sports Cars was definitely not what I had expected from a dealership that had as many great reviews as they do. Over the past two months Ive been looking for a newer Ferrari 458, and saw one online at Premiere. I figured the car was only about a year old, it looked great in the pictures, and would still be covered by the 4 year/50,000 mile warranty from Ferrari. I purchased the car unseen after several verbal confirmations Chris and salesmen that it was a brand new car in perfect condition, all up to date on service, and it was still covered under warranty. I wired the money, had the car shipped to my home- first thing I noticed when I got in the car was a service due light was on. I brought it to Ferrari and had to pay for the oil change myself even though they told me it was already done, but I didnt make a big deal out of it because it was a minor service. Then when I went to pick up my car, they informed me of a small coolant leak, and that they wouldnt be able to fix it under warranty because the car had been tuned and the warranty was void!! Now, Im stuck with a 2015 Ferrari 458 that I cant drive and theyre unwilling to work with me at all for any sort of reimbursement or anything. All they say is You signed a Buyers Guide that says I bought the car as-is. I couldnt be more upset with Premiere and my experience there. Buying an exotic car should not be this big of a hassle, and I hope everyone thinks twice before doing business with them.

The company website have more than enough photos of the car so I could get a good feel for the way it looked throughout. Great place when we bought are car they were nice

Bad first impression. Walked in the door and was immediately confronted as to what we wanted by a woman.. Then, rudely we were given a list of rules, as if we were a bunch of uneducated hicks there to run rampant around the show floor. Nick was super friendly, but as far as general impressions go, would likely never buy or recommend someone else buy something from PSC out of principal.

Do not think used car dealer actually describes this business. They deal in top of the line, pre-owned automobiles.

Horrible experience with premier. They bought a car from me and then claimed it was sold with broken navigation. I had it working en route to drop it off for their truck to pick it up. We all know the transporters in this industry, and how they handle exotic cars. They jump started the car and blew up the electronics. What does premier do - they sue me in small claims court. I noted at least 12-15 other cases. It seems this is how they handle their issues. Ill NEVER work with these people again...horrible experience and I work in this industry, thousands of transactions a year.

I was offered the 1988 Ferrari Testarossa for $150k. I started asking questions about the cars service history and was told that a BMW dealer had worked on the car previously. Since when does BMW service Ferrari?. I then asked about the inconsistency in the paint work and was told that it was probably painted at the port when it got damaged. I then asked about number of owners and was again given a BS answer when clearly the carfax should show that. I was told it was probably 2 or 3. When I’m spending that kind of money; I don’t want to know probably; I want to know for certain. Chris actually told me he was losing his patience because I was asking questions. Well I’m sorry that I did not just wire you a $150k transfer and hope for the best. To me it seems that there is a reason this Testarossa has not sold in so long. Buyer beware is truly a statement that fits well with how Chris handles car sales. I’m glad I did not fall victim to this man. If before having my $150k he is irritated about questions; imagine how he would act after having my money. No thanks Chris; I will take my money elsewhere and spend it with a dealer who appreciates customers and is willing to answer some legitimate questions

My experience with Chris and his dealership was very good. I traded a corvette for the997 turbo that i purchased. As i have said before Chris is a tough negotiater, but he was fair. He scheduled a covered transport to deliver the car to me and the car wasas represented and came to me clean as a pin. Ok, if it sounds too good to be true…….. I was the purchaser of a Ferrari that Premier had on auction through Bring a Trailer and although I don’t normally like to disparage anyone as it’s not cool and I don’t have the time, I did want to share my experience to ensure this doesn’t happen to others. Bottom line, Premier Sports car (Chris Courtney) did not represent this Ferrari properly in the advertisement. As shown in the ad, “Per the seller, the Rosso Corso finish is original and the car has no history of accidents”, but when I wanted to add that language into the sales agreement before wiring the money, Chris came back with “To the best of my knowledge, the paint is original.” He then followed up with a phone call where he explained he was a Ferrari guru and saw this cars made in Italy and that they may have had to respray a panel due to blemishes. So “In his opinion, the paint was original”. Or possibly, that at the port it got dinged and the dealer resprayed it, so it is still “technically” original. Oh boy, a high end dealership that doesn’t know if the paint is original…..red flag. I then asked for paint meter readings at which point he got annoyed and asked me why I didn’t ask for that in the first place? I said, “Well, I didn’t need those numbers until you refused to include the original paint language that was stated in the advertisement into the purchase contract”. So, after getting the numbers, one of the panels (Driver door) was 2X the thickness of the panel next to it. I told him I needed to research that as I knew that Ferrari didn’t have a lot of Quality Control in place at that time and it could be normal. At which point he asked me if I wanted to unwind the deal as he expected to get $175K vs. the $168K I paid. I said no, I just wanted to make sure I am making an informed decision. So I got with two Testarossa friends who paint metered their original paint cars and both were 4.0-6.0M thick (vs. 8.5-9.0M on this car), and I also talked to two dealerships that said the door panel had most likely been painted due to the thickness. Sigh…. This morning, I let him know that I would need to pass on this car thinking he would be happy since it went so low at auction and he wanted $175K. But, he replied back with “Stick to Porsches” as he knows I am a Porsche collector. Anyway, my fault for assuming the dealer advertisement was correct and for not doing enough due diligence upfront, so hopefully you can learn from my experience and the good news is that I figured it out BEFORE receiving the car.

Agreed to purchase a 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo “manual” car from Chris Courtney. I signed a purchase agreement, wired a deposit, and paid for the PPI to be done the very next day at Napleton Porsche. Chris represented the car to be in excellent condidion with no rock chips, scrapes, dents, etc. Well, the PPI came back with a very noticeable rock chip on the front bumper and a dent in the rear driver’s side bumperette. The cost the fix the dent was approximately $500. Per Michael McCormick at Napleton, the bumperette could not be fixed with paintless dent repair. I agreed to continue with the purchase stating I would handle the front rock chip if Chris would discount the car by $500 for the rear piece to be replaced and repainted. My intention was to buy a new part and have it painted once I received the car. His response was “I’ll fix it.” When asked how he would fix it and to please call me, he ignored me. The next day I asked again and he responded that I was “wearing him out” and he would refund my wire. So, Chris Courtney misrepresented the condition, then gets mad when I asked him how he was going to fix it? Really? So, asking TOP DOLLAR for a last generation Turbo Manual and then being asked by the buyer how you’re going to “fix it” is a bother? By the way his resolution was “it’s plastic paint it.” Buyer beware! It’s a 2011 Guards Red Turbo Coupe VIN No. WP0AD2A98BS766891. This is how clean Car Fax cars end up with spot in paint jobs all over them! Do you think this will be disclosed to the next interested buyer?!?
