ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I found a very competitively priced car (even in non-pandemic times) that I loved. They gave me all of the history of it and let me drive it and test out all of the various features. When I told them the APR rate my bank had given me, they matched it for competitive financing. Plus, when I asked about a few scratches on the bumpers, they offered to repair them for free so I got my used car looking like it was brand new.I loved everything about working with them and HIGHLY recommend them. Chris Beltran helped me and despite being a female first-time buyer, I know I got a good deal.

Scheduling maintenance on-line was easy. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and the work on my vehicle was done quickly and expertly.

He had the car I was interested in waiting when I got there, let me take it on a nice test drive answered all my questions and did his best to get me through financing as quickly as possible. I made an appointment because Hyundai in Alexandria was booked for weeks. I was received cordially and promptly, I didn’t wait more than two minutes. Nick took my information and was very informative about the service and showed me to the waiting area. Rene took care of my car and texted me to let me know he was available if I needed anything. Their lounge is very comfortable, it has well stocked vending machines with card readers. Their bathrooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly. Two thumbs up! 👍🏽 would definitely recommend.

The salesperson I dealt with (Dakota) was very knowledgeable; usually I know more about the vehicle Im looking at than the salesperson, but that wasnt the case with Dakota. Safford Hyundai did a great job on our Sonata’s scheduled maintenance. They clearly explained what would be done, the cost, and accepted and applied a company discount we provided. Easy options to pay the bill and the car was very near the service bay for pickup. The Sonata is running well.

Service department is the worst . I send a vehicle there for repairs. The vehicle got dropped off on Oct/11/2021 . I called the next day to follow up and they could not locate the vehicle in their system. After numerous phone calls and emails another 3 days passed by no response where my car was. I decided to drive over there to file a police report for stolen vehicle but to my surprise The vehicle is there right in front of their noses. Once I pointed my car to them I asked to speak to the service manager Peter. And at least get an apology the guy was unavailable the only person available person to speak with me and actually helpful was a new guy in service that was working there for a month.

I took our 2018 Tucson in for a recall service and state inspection. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the service. I was sent reminders about my appointment, pleasantly greeted and the car was ready earlier than expected. The service area is super clean and they truly seemed to appreciate me being there. I’ll use them in the future for sure!
I was very excited about buying a brand new car at the end of April but unfortunately that car was recalled in July and has been in the service department for over 2 months now. The service department has been awful at updating me about my car and even my service advisor went a month without updating me. I even tried reaching out to the service manager and never heard back. It’s pretty upsetting that I’m paying for a brand new car that I haven’t been able to use for months and that there’s been zero communication from service about when I will have my car back. Hopefully this does not happen to anyone else, it is very stressful and upsetting.

They going to rip your money off at this Hyundai location. The last time I visited this location my car hood didnt open and I went there to fix it. They said its going to cost me $279 to fix it because they have to take off the front fender and I paid that. Fast forward, I came back today for the same problem and they told me they going to charge me more than $1000. I asked them why they didnt fix it the last time I came, he said the last time I visited they only oil it a rusted area. If you can just buy the parts and find some other shops to fix it.

I came to Safford Hyundai for the first time recently to address recall services. I like that I could pull into a dedicated covered service bay. I have never seen that before. I can see this being great for rainy and cold conditions. So, I pulled in, handed my keys to a tech, and did the standard check-in. The service rep, Abdon, walked me through the process quickly and easily. I only have one vehicle, so I had to wait for service completion. The waiting area is clean, has free wifi and coffee and water, and is otherwise comfortable. It has desk areas for doing laptop computing, too. Also, there is a shuttle that will take customers to/from the nearby Springfield Mall. So, we did that. Also, I got a text from the Abdon that I can use to reply with inquiries. I have used other local dealership service centers, and have been disappointed, which is why I chose Safford Hyundai. Ill be coming here for my next service appointment.

Safford recently repaired a recall item in my G80. The exciting part was that they came to my home and picked up the car and returned it to me when the repair was completed, despite the fact that my 3 years of ownership was up. This was, in my opinion the single act that brought them closest to the Genesis cachet that they are working so hard to create. I strongly suggest that they review their 3 year policy and make valet service a routine part of their service experience for the life of the car. That is what luxury is all about.
I didnt receive a thorough follow up on what all was completed on my car. Also in the past my car had been washed and vacuumed and wiped down. That did not happen this last visit so I guess it depends on how good of a rep you get to assist you.
I have bought cars from dealerships in the past and I have to say this was the smoothest the process has ever went. I kind of had an idea of what I wanted so contacted Safford to sent up an appointment to see some of their vehicles. I met Carlton at the door and he immediately started showing me different options of what I had in mind. He was very knowledgeable on the different vehicles that we looked at and never once was pushy. He was very realistic with what was in my range and I was sold. I went with the 2021 Hyundai Sonata limited and I have to say this is the most fun Ive had driving back and forth to work in a long time. I definitely know where Im going the next time Im buying a vehicle and if you are looking to buy I suggest you check them out as well.
I was greeted upon entering which may seem like a common courtesy but as I have found is not so common in the other dealerships. Tevin was wonderful and reached out to me multiple times with answers to every single question I had! He was simply fantastic. Took vehicle in for mileage related service internal. I asked for one small outside that package detail, specifically replacement of small rubber stopper on rear tailgate that had simply fallen off. The service rep took note, told the tech to place in cupholder. When I went to pick up vehicle, stopper still in cupholder. In addition, armrest on driver side front had grease or dirt on leather and both driver and passenger doors were left with fingerprints all over them. Minor details, but that attention to detail (or lack therof) defines excellent service vice just good service.

Honestly, making the appointment and going in I was confident that I wasn’t leaving with a new car. I thought to myself this would just be an informative visit. Wrong, Dakota was Awesome he’s very patient, understanding and helpful. He made me feel comfortable and worked with me, not too pushing like other car salesman. This review is based on my experience from purchasing to the servicing of my equus, genesis, sonata, santefe and many more from the alexandria location to what I get at the springfield location.I recently purchased a gv80 at Stafford and from the car buying experience to servicing here has been been sadly disappointing to say nicely.Theres Noone at this location other than the sale manager that speaks fluent Korean. So if you dont speak English its sol for you. Also SA said xyz was going to be done upon coming in for my oil change service and never got done or explained why it wasnt performed.

I brought in my vehicle due to a engine recall and clicking noise on my steering wheel on a Tuesday appointment. I was told it would be done in a couple of hours. I liked the shuttle experience, hence the 2 stars. However after a couple hours I call to find out how it’s going... they then tell me they don’t have a parts for the job and I’d have to wait for the next day. Next day comes and I call to follow up and they tell me the same thing... except this time now my car may have to be in their shop until Saturday. They then offer $5/day rental.I felt if this was how it’s going to be, offer free rental. On top of all this, their phone lady who initially answers speaks over you before you can finish what you’re calling about. Rude as hell.
My experience at Safford Hyundai was great!!!! Starting with customer service over the phone while scheduling my appointment. The young lady that attended me over the phone was very professional and even thou they were completely booked she still found a away to get me in for my vehicle to be serviced. Once at the dealership, Abdon (my man), with his humbleness as always, took care of everything that needed to be done in my vehicle. Even thou I was there for a couple of hours, the staff always made sure that I was ok. Out of all the dealerships that I have been, Safford Hyundai of Springfield trumps all of them. Update - 7/2/21 - I took my vehicle in just a week ago. A week ago I was able to make an appointment for less than 24 hours later. I noticed my new tire is overinflated and my ride is still very rough (the new tire didn’t fix the issue). So I called the service department to see if I can bring it in again and they said the earliest available is July 19?!? One week ago I was able to bring it in next day but now you are book for the next 17 days?? This makes no sense and I’m extremely disappointed in the customer service I received over the phone. I called another dealer a little down the road and they can get me in two days later. Btw, this is the third time I’ve have these two issues on a 2021 Palisade I bought three months ago (from a different dealer). Not happy at all.6/25/21- My first experience with Safford Hyundai and they figured out the reason for a persistent problem I had been having (a problem another dealership had missed). Excited to have them as my local dealer and service department.

The customer service here is amazing 👏 I had gone somewhere else first and felt uncomfortable but when I came here I was treated very well and all my questions were answered. Chris was able to show me all of my options, go over everything, and helped me leave with a new car. I came back with a few details needed fixed on the car and the service center was kind and quick to help.

I was very impressed with my experience purchasing a 2020 Santa Fe from Safford Hyundai.Most of my experience with the dealership was conducted online via email with Scott Lee, the General Sales Manager. I had purchased 4 other vehicles with Scott through a different dealership in previous years. When I am shopping for a car, I like as little negotiating and in person interactions as possible. Within hours of contacting Scott, I was in a test drive of the new Santa Fe with the options and colors I was interested in. Scott had already assigned Art to assist me.Two days later, in a very streamline email thread, I had reached a price for the new car and negotiated a fair trade in for my 2015 Sonata.I headed over to the dealership and the vehicle was delivered to me quickly with a full tank of gas and no hassles.Even after the sale, Scott and Art have assisted with follow up items.By the way, the dealership is a very modern, clean and roomy facility. I was specifically impressed with the service department as well as when I met with the finance manager to digitally sign paperwork - very streamline!

The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because my salesperson, Chris, was amazing and went above and beyond for me. Huge shoutout to Chris for that! However, when it came time to go to finance, the finance manager pressured me very hard to purchase the extra stuff such as extended warranties. After I said no twice, he then proceeded to tell me that I needed GAP insurance. Politely, I declined and he asked why. I stated that you can purchase those policies elsewhere cheaper and then my insurance offers something similar to GAP coverage. He told me that was not true. At this point, I was starting to become upset and just wanted to see the final numbers one last time before I signed the papers. The finance manager came across very rude and I stated that I cant do this right now as I felt myself starting to become very anxious. He told me to go back to my salesman and by the time I got back out to Chris, I was close to having a full blown panic attack. I went to my car and sat for a minute trying to calm down before calling for someone to meet me at the mall to help me get home. Overall, Chris was amazing (and even called me after I left to check on me, which I greatly appreciated) but I dont think I would ever purchase from this dealership. I have recently gotten the car I wanted from another dealership and wasnt faced with high pressure sales for extended warranties.

Nearly every personnel at this dealership has been very kind to work with. But the overall quality of service may have gone down since Ive been coming here from 6 years ago. Its in the details they lack now. For example, a simple copy of the Multipoint inspection has not been included from my past 2 appointments. Or the overall cleanliness of the vehicle (smell, smudges and dust) upon return. Extra charges for services or replacement parts that were not performed (wiper blades). Its a good thing I reviewed the breakdown of expenses before paying for it! Ive done my best to be loyal to this dealership even though I live almost an hour away from it. Will probably explore closer proximity Hyundai service departments for my next service.
I’ve been going here for years and generally never have a problem with service, as is true this last visit... the only thing I’d comment on is that it took me 2 weeks to get an appt to replace my tires... my appt was scheduled for 10:30am one morning which I dropped my car then I returned home to work/wait on my car to be finished. I called up to the dealership at 5pm that evening (COB) inquiring about my car at which time I was asked if they could keep the car overnight because they hadn’t gotten to it yet (THIS WAS JUST FOR 4 TIRES)... so needless to say I was a bit disappointed in the fact that 1) I had to contact them right before they closed to inquire about my car rather than someone contacting me and 2) that it takes customers weeks out to find an available appt just for them to still not service your car in an appropriate amount of time when that appt comes
Their service staff is frenetic, they take care of you like family. No games just real service from a team that cares
Took my G80 sport in for service. The radio/head unit has been freezing and the replacement was in. Everything went terrific. They had a nice G70 loaner ready for the service and my service advisor kept me informed. Car was ready later the same day. They even helped me locate my eyeglass case that was left behind in the loaner. Great job all around. Thanks guys.
My wife and I needed a second car to use for work etc. being with Hyundai for the last 6 years and wanted to continue staying with them. I went in and looked at a few vehicles. I set my eyes on an Elantra Limited. Once inside the dealership, I waited a while without anyone helping me, I got a bit annoyed and was about to leave when the GM approached me and asked if I needed help. He Immediately grabbed keys and ran to get the vehicles for me while also getting an associate to help. My sales person was Leon. He was very polite, kind hearted and a nice guy to talk too. They were able to work with the bank and get us approved for a second vehicle. Leon took the time to drive the vehicle to my residence a few towns over well past closing time. Originally my wife and I scheduled a service appointment for our Hyundai Sonata and requested the 82.5k service along with getting the windshield wipers replaced. When we arrived the service department stated that what we saw online is not actually what they provide and they suggested that we do the more expensive 90k maintenance service, which we agreed to despite the extra $600 that it cost. Our advisor called us after a couple of hours and gave us a series of recommendations, which we declined. Later on, we received a call that the car was ready and when we went to go pick up the car, we noticed that the tire pressure was flashing low and that most of our tire caps were missing. As soon as my wife pulled off, she immediately felt the car pulling towards the let hand side and not driving correctly, she she had to pull over immediately in a safe location. Once she got out of the vehicle, she realized that the car had a flat tire. When we brought the car in we had zero issues driving it, we were only looking for an oil change, and we did not have a flat tire. When we got the flat tire we called the dealership and they told us nobody was there and to speak to our advisor the next day. I then had to call triple AAA since my wife was stranded in order to have them take the tire and replace it with the donut in order for her to find a way home. This took hours out of our day, hours in which we were supposed to be working. The next day, we receive a text from our advisor saying that we had called asking for him. He did not acknowledge the situation or apologize, just stated that we called asking for him. I go on to explain the situation and he responds saying that I can bring the car back for them to look at. Does not apologize, does not acknowledge the situation, but instead wants me to figure out a way back to the shop with no clear plan. I tell him I cannot bring the car back being that it has a donut on it and he says that the day before he had recommended getting our breaks fixed, tires replaced and many other things. Essentially stating that because we did not get the recommendations that he had communicated to us the day before, that that was why we had gotten a flat tire. The car did not have a flat when we brought it in and was driving fine prior to us getting it serviced. We then call our advisor stating that we do not trust the dealership with the vehicle and that we want to be reimbursed for replacing the tire. This is on Friday, 4/23, morning at 11am. Our advisor states that he will talk to his manager and get back to us as soon as possible. We never heard back from the advisor and ended up having to call customer service on Monday to explain our complaints. She stated that she will tell the general manager who will be in touch with us within the next 1-2 days. It is currently May 2nd and we have yet to hear anything back from Safford Hyundai Of Springfield. This is terrible customer service and we will not be bringing our car back to this location.
WOW!!! What a difference in service!!!My journey or should i say my headache started in Woodbridge at koons Hyundai of Woodbridge.I brought my car in for the recall for the second time only to be told the parts arent in, knowing how dangerous it was for me to drive my car i never was offered a rental, i was told i could go see myself about a rental.I then contacted Safford Hyundai of Springfield,They did a multi point check to find my car was not safe to drive and told me to contact enterprise for a rental in which i only paid $50 for incidentals. I was contacted by Jeff Gran promptly about everything that was being done to my Vehicle, i cant believe i had to drive 15 to 20 miles to get QUALITY SERVICE .I wont be looking back but i will be contacting someone in a higher postion to look at how my situation was handled or lack of...Thank you Safford of Hyundai for looking out for the safety of my family.I will be back and recommend you to anyone looking for QUALITY SERVICE....I wish i could give you more than 5 stars!!Im truly 😊Thank you,Ms. Dodds
They do a good job. My recommendation is to please not promise a car will be done in 90 mins and then take 3.5 to 4 hours to finish. I took the day off from work and had other things planned but now I will have to cancel at least two appts because their promised 90 min oil change and tire rotation turned into four hours of who knows what.
Chris Beltran is the best car salesman we have ever dealt with. He is very professional and informed. He explained the details and differences between models so we were able to get exactly what we wanted at a very fair price. I highly recommend Chris and the Safford dealership.

Buying from Safford Hyundai was truly awesome. This is my second time buying from a major dealership and here at Safford I was in and out with my new vehicle in half the time compared to the other dealership I bought another car from. I am glad my sales consultant Mishelle helped us out she was great. I spoke to her a week prior about the vehicle I wanted but they didn’t have it nor did anyone else in the area and if they did they had a market adjustment value of 10000 over msrp and that wasn’t the case at Safford. I ended up putting a down payment at another dealership for the vehicle but It wasn’t arriving until September 10th, but as soon as one was available at Safford Mishelle called and we went right over and left the same day with it.i am glad she remembered I was in the market for one because it saved me a month of waiting to get a vehicle. I will make sure my next car purchase is at Safford because everyone was great from the sales team to the finance team.

I normally go out to the service center at thr Chantilly dealership, but this one is so much closer, so I thought Id try it.Starting with the positives: facility is very clean with sufficient seating and water/coffee, staff is friendly, took extra care of inside of the car (plastic cover on the seat, paper mat on the floor).Things that left something to be desired: Car was not washed as promised; Took 2 hrs for a routine oil change even with having an appointment in the middle of the week and only one other person in the waiting room. I expect that on weekends or if I show up without an appointment, but the last thing I want to do on a weeknight is sit at a car dealership for 2 hrs; hood was left unlatched, so as Im driving home on 95, it is bouncing - little distracting and potentially dangerous.I think Ill go back to driving out to Chantilly. It is worth the trip.

Friendly service, Scott ensured I was getting the right service done on my car which in turn saved me money. Will come back againAs promised I came back and got exactly what I wanted from color to trim to accessories and the best Sales Rep Paul. He had me in and from the time I sat down 3 hrs later I was leaving the dealership with an awesome deal and no regrets. Love my car and would highly recommend Paul no mess best of the best thus far.
This was the most basic experience I have had yet with Genesis of Springfield. Staff was polite however, I was not asked if I wanted to complete anything additional that was required for my vehicle. It was not until I looked at the paperwork at home that I noticed it needed a wheel alignment as well as other things. All of which I would of completed in the same visit. Now I have to schedule another appointment and take off of work to accomplish these. My car was not washed as I love that courtesy the dealer provides. Overall experience was okay.
Abdon, Peter, and everyone else at Safford Hyundai were very helpful. They got the warranty red tape taken care of, kept me in the loop every step of the way, made sure we had a rental car during the repair process, and finished the repairs as soon as possible.
We bought a car here 1 year ago. My husband and I went there to make an appointment for oil change. They didnt even care that we were in front of the counter, we were just waiting, and then they said go to cashier to make an appointment! The cashier said go to the front counter. How do they treat customers like this?
The purchase of my new vehicle went very smoothly. Salesman Dakota was very friendly and professional. Terry is finance was awesome, he made the transaction fun. Every employee i came in contact with was friendly. I was very pleased and happy when i drove away in my new car!!!

Update to my last review::On September 2, 2021, I brought my car in for an oil change and service recall. I was informed that the service recall would be an additional 4 hours, so I said no I will scheduled another appointment at a closer dealership for that.When my car was ready I was told that the recall services was actually done. I was happy. Well two hours later my check engine light comes on. My friend call and they told him they probably didnt reset a sensor. So my friend met me and reset the sensors the light went off. Well the very next day my check engine light comes back on.I call Safford Hyundai to speak with a service advisor (no one never ever answers the phone or call you back). I have to get my car inspected in MD (new resident) and I cant because my engine light is on and I couldnt get another recall check at another Hyundai dealership because I was informed Safford put in their system that nothing was wrong with my car. I will not buy another car from this dealership to continue to deal with their half-tail work!
I recommend Stafford Hyundai. The service advisor was respectful, helpful and listen to my question and was able answer my question before and after the work was completed, was informative.
