I went there with a friend of mine and had a great experience. The cashier was so nice and patient with me as I was getting my money out. The wait time wasnt too long, and it was well worth it! Would recommend to anyone who is around downtown Springfield and want some great coffee. Would definitely go again and try some more of their drinks.

Arguably the best coffee in Springfield. Im not a frivolous person, but I come back every couple of weeks to buy a latte and their espresso beans so that I can enjoy their blend in my own kitchen. Its one of the things in life that I splurge on, and its so worth it! When they were closed down for renovations, I had to try other SGF blends. No offense to the others, but I was thrilled when Ethic opened back up!

Clean. Friendly. Transaction a bit complicated. Felt like very cool, Brooklyn like shop. Worth a visit with friends and family to have a special coffee experience.

Great vanilla latte! Would come back out of my way to get a latte here again. Also had a sweet potato muffin rhat was excellent! A little downtown gem. Will be back when Im in town.

The chai latte I had at The Coffee Ethic was very good. The servers were friendly and talkative.

The Coffee Ethic excels as the quintessential third-wave coffee shop with single-origin beans and roasting only a few yards from the brew stations. The original cold brew may actually be preferable to the nitro upgrade and provides a solid base for a few signature beverages.

Such a great place to get our coffee. We order their whole bean coffee every other week because I can’t drink anything else at home. Their house blend is our favorite and their bottled drinks are also great! Always friendly staff and curbside available through the Joe app.

We got the caramel frappuccino, it was delicious, the place is nice, clean and looks fresh... the staff is friendly.

I work at a preschool and have been in contact with The Coffee Ethic about Teacher Appreciation Week. They were generous enough to donate free coffee coupons to the cause. I noticed there were a couple to many, so I went back to the door and let the man working the counter know. He told me to keep them and give them to a friend. I ended up getting a coffee for myself. I got a cold orange mocha latte. It came in a bottle. It smelled amazing. It tasted even better than it smelled. I completely recommend anyone to try this place out. You wont regret it. What Starbucks??

Not much of a coffee guy, so when I stopped here with some friends, I just got some ice water. I heard it was the best around. My god, the ice was so krisp, I had to put my jacket on because I felt like it was winter again. I heard the ice is locally sourced, but honestly it’s like they cut it from the glacier itself and airlift it here! Will defiantly come back to quench my thirst!

This coffee shop is everything you expect in a 5 Star coffee shop. First criteria for a coffee shop should always be the coffee, and here it is definitely the showcase. The roaster is on full display, and the fragrance of roasting beans is in the air. There is always a wonderful rotation of single origin coffees available, great cold brew, and authentic espresso drinks. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a coffee shop located on a downtown square with its exposed brick walls, and historic hardwood floors. The cinnamon rolls are spectacular, but if that is not for you, there are other bakery options available. Don’t limit this place to only a stop in for coffee, they also have selection of beers on tap, if you want to stop in for a brew.

The best coffeeshop/roasters in town! They are always friendly and knowledgeable and the baked goods are tasty if you need a snack. Nitro cold brew is one of my favs but they make a killer cortado too! They know their stuff and I highly recommend giving them a try if you haven’t been before!

The Coffee Ethic has a great vibe, strong internet, and approachable barista. The baked goods (I actually did a no bake cookie) are made in house and the healthy protein bars are from a cool place in Kansas City. Coffee in my thermos was literally like $2. 10/10 would recommend.

I love this coffee place. My favorite drink of theirs is the royal milk tea, it is one of the best royal milk teas Ive ever had. I think the hot version is a bit better than the cold version but still pretty great. The parking situation is a little tough since there isnt a lot available and after 10:30 am the parking lot provided becomes only valet. I have had two dishes from here which were the avocado toast and the egg bat sandwich. The avocado toast was yummy but Ive had better. But I loved the egg bat sandwich and scarfed it down so quickly both times Ive had it. I would recommend the royal milk tea and the egg bat sandiwhich since those were my favorite things Ive had there that I would get again.

Great local spot to grab a hot beverage on a cold winter day! As a patron traveling through town, their fresh roasted & brew was the perfect pick me up I needed to continue my day!

Baristas are always knowledgeable and helpful, but there have been a few in the past who seem a little awkward. But they’re coffee nerds, and their drinks are great so it more than makes up for it. I love this shop for small groups or one on one meet ups, but be careful if you have a group of 8 or more. If they are even moderately busy, you may need to split up over several tables.They do have the best view of any of the coffee shops in town, and their outdoor seating is really nice too.

Went to Mudhouse Coffee on a Saturday morning because our usual Coffee Ethic was out of muffins. We ordered two iced drinks and two muffins at Mudhouse. Both drinks were given to us at room temperature and tasted absolutely horrible. We threw the drinks in the trash can on the sidewalk and made our way back to Coffee Ethic where we know the quality is 5 stars. We come to Coffee Ethic every Saturday morning as a date-tradition, we’ve never been disappointed and we will never make the mistake of going elsewhere ever again. Coffee is always perfect, fresh muffins are always dreamy.

Most rude server ever to one of my friends. The young girl behind the counter was belligerent and hateful. She doesnt understand customer service. You can get coffee anywhere, but NEVER EVER patronize this horribly run establishment.

My favorite coffee shop in town. Love to make it into a mid bike ride out stop. Friendly and efficient baristas that receive top-notch training. The Coffee is always consistent which is the most important thing.Try the Walnut chocolate scones or the Blueberry lemon muffins, especially if they have some hot and fresh!

My wife and I went to downtown Springfield for the annual Christmas parade. We stopped at The Coffee Ethic while we were there. Our first time to a coffee shop. They were very busy due to the parade, but their crew got customers served pretty good!! Good coffee.

Coffee Ethic is one of my favorite local coffee places. The quality is consistently excellent. The environment is also comfortable and is an excellent place to read or study. I also love that it is located right in the heart of downtown. 5 starts for quality cofee & atmosphere!

Brilliant place to get coffee! We love everything from the beans we pour over/aero press to the bottled spiced lattes to the unusual coffee drinks. We bring everyone here and start everybody on their coffee making path with coffee ethic beans.

Ive had to share tables with people before, but I am always up for meeting people. Not much that they can do about seating due to the space being small. I for sure recommend to everyone

Good place for coffee, beer, or a snack. Peaceful and beautifully decorated interior with few tables seating 2-4 people. Outside tables are available, which is wonderful as its the only coffee shop downtown with great outdoor seating. The staff is always friendly and responsive. The service is always quick. Its just a really great all around place to grab a drink and chill out quietly.

Really great coffee! Interesting atmosphere, great looking aesthetic but the staff was just kind of on the quiet side. I felt like I was in a library and needed to speak softly. The selection of baked goods was pretty slim but we visited late in the day so that could be a part of why. Their fruit smoothie was AMAZING! Seemed a little high priced for a cup that wasnt full but truly tasted AMAZING!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Pumpkin Spice Latte was 100%. Natural flavors and not overwhelming. Its an expensive cup of coffee but its worth it. Aesthetically pleasing all around. Filled with a modern crowd. Definitely a place for great conversation and even better coffee.

Coffee was delicious, although it took forever! (Good coffee=worth it). Hed run out of vanilla with my drink and my mil wanted vanilla, so he mixed us up some Askinosie chocolate syrup/powder and half and half. She said it was the best creamer shed ever had. Prices are also fair, which I greatly appreciate!

This is my favorite coffee shop in downtown Springfield. The staff is always really friendly. Be aware that seating may be hard to get during peak times, and it can take a while sometimes to get your drink. I love the vibe, and their pastries are also delicious!

The shop itself is really cute! I love the glass outside and the interior is very aesthetically pleasing. However, ive been here three times now, and i never liked the drinks i had. They also dont have a huge range in their sizes.

Really tasty coffee. The wife and I stopped for a latte, we were both pleasantly surprised. I was a little disappointed to not have more time to sit and relax. We did buy a bag of coffee beans and have been enjoying that in the last couple days. We do plan to return the next time were in Springfield.

Great location. Might be the best coffee Ive had, and I go to many local coffee shops all over the country so that says a lot. At first I was bothered by their lack of cream and sweetening options, but then I tried it black and I came to understand while silently thanking myself for not preemptively ruining the experience with my jadedness. Service was neither exemplary nor disappointing, product was fantastic.

Seems like a nice place to hangout on your laptop since the place was full of everyone doing that. Cappuccinos were large and looked good. The espresso was not hot and overwhelmingly bitter. I expressed my concerns with the gentleman behind the counter who seemed shocked to receive that feedback. Maybe it’s not common for peopleTo order straight espresso from here. I wouldn’t recommend it as an “Espresso Bar” as google classified it.

Really good coffee house on the square. I really like their Nitro brewed cold coffee. Or cold brew. Really rich robust flavor. Very refreshing with the summer heat. Located on the Square its really a good place to hang out.

You want coffee they got it. You want something a little bit stronger they have it. I love Coffee ethic if I am feeling like a late morning brewsky I always hit them up first. Super chill place to read, or study if you are a student, also the front window seats make for great people watching on the square.

A great place for hipsters to kick it and talk like they understand whats happening in the world today. My wife and I stumbled into this place after eating downtown and having a few drinks. We finished the night with a walk through this store front, picking up an alcoholic and overpriced coffee. Coffee was slightly burnt and was really lacking in the alcohol department.

Great place to sit back and sip on coffee while people-watching on the square. The hot espresso drinks are great but I would suggest avoiding the lime and ginger beer cold espresso drink.

By far my favorite coffee shop in town. With some of the best coffee from farmers that they work directly with, the employees they have provide excellent customer service, and the atmosphere is great to get work done in or hang out with your friends. They also serve some of the best brews of beer I have ever had along with whiskey and wine for those of you who like a little bit more class ;). If you are in the southwest Missouri area you have to check this place out.

The Coffee Ethic is great, though can sometimes be a little slow. It would be awesome if they’d offer a few vegan pastries, but otherwise I have no complaints.

The coffee always tastes great and available at good prices. My only complaint is occasionally not being able to find a seat. The shop is still beautifully decorated and has a good menu.

I love their coffee. Its bold and full of flavor. Also theres a good downtown feel to the shop. I dont go here a lit because Im not downtown a lot, but I still recommend it. Never tried the food but the coffee is awesome.

Awesome atmosphere and staff. Great variety for the coffee connoisseurs, and delicious flavored lattes for the layman average joe (which is me). Also, cant beat that mission and commitment to ethical treatment of coffee farmers.

Great atmosphere- by far, my favorite coffee place in Springfield! The vanilla lattes with oatmilk are my favorite, as well as their house black coffee. Perfect place for dates, families, friendly chats and homework! Prices arent super cheap, but they are incredibly worth it!

Has a nice downtown feel. Coffee was good, I like that they have simple syrup available.

The coffee roaster was huge! And you could tell they used it regularly even though they put it near the front door. Theres this really nice seat where you can hide behind it by the window. The places usually especially a busy hours very loud, I like that there was like a little Bakers Island where she made Fresh Goods, the coffee was great. My dad and uncle and Aunt all got the same black Costa Rican. I got a caramel latte though. Dad let me try some of the Costa Rican coffee and you could drink it black and tell it was a very fruity coffee, to me it tasted a bit like blueberries and green beans.

I love this place. The trendy feel of the shop inspires creativity. The coffee is fantastic! Its cool to watch them roasting in house.
