They tried to get me to pay for something I didnt need.My Chromebook wouldnt charge. They did a free diagnostic in a few days. Told me the charging chord and the charging port both needed to be replaced. They were going to charge me over $100 to replace the charging port and another $30 to buy a charging chord. I went online bought a $10 replacement charging chord and and now my computer is charging fine. No need to replace the charge port at all.

My laptop was infected with a bad virus which I tried my best to fix myself. After a week I knew I needed help. NXT was able to get rid of the virus and now I have a virus program properly installed. I really thought my laptop was dead. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. Max really saved the day .

This place deserves a - 15 caution take your computer there at your own risk caution.Took my laptop there they had it so long I forgot I I had one when I finally remembered months later I called them they told me they were still working on it. They would give me a call and keep me in touch really. Months go by I still havent seen my laptop PS they made me pay for it upfront of course I guess Ill never see that again. Take your computer anywhere but there.PS for some strange and unknown reason they are more interested in catching cats than fixing computers

Paid an astronomical amount for my keyboard to be lifted. Keyboard is now LIFTING AND BULKY.

I had 2 older computers and was told by others they were not worth fixing. Karen evaluated both laptops (one HP and the other a Dell) and told me they were worth the revamp. I now have 2 extra laptops that are in perfect running condition. I had them build a custom computer for me in 2011. I just had it serviced for the first time a month ago. It has been flawless and the comp i had built is still more advanced then most current systems. The service i needed was my own fault too. They had me fixed and back running in no time. For the last 7 plus years, Max and all of the folks at NXT have handled all of our office IT issues, from setting up new servers, laptops, PCs and printers, to repairing/resolving all issues that arise thereafter. While they are extremely knowledgeable, if they come across an unusual issue, they personally research that issue to come up with the best solution. Likewise, while they are extremely well versed with most programs, they also quickly and with great interest learn programs that are perhaps unique to certain businesses, so that they can assist in fixing any issues that periodically arise in those programs. While I cannot comment on Mr. Harkers issues, I can say that our experience with NXT has been superb. They have always been knowledgeable, reliable, trustworthy and efficient.

Unorganized!! Dropped off a tablet the guy told me free diagnostic 2-5 days. After 9 days i called them and it took him a while to even find my tablet. Then tells me the cost of repair is greater then the actual cost of the tablet. When i asked how much he said he didnt put an actual price on it. What a joke! Never again i would rather pay a high price at a big retailer.

They have had my computer almost 2 months ago and I have not gotten it back. Every time I call they have said it will be another week. It is absolutely ridiculous and I will never use them again

DO NOT take your computer to NXT Computers in Springfield.I took my Imac in for repair in Aug 2012. The hard drive was spinning up really fast and sometimes would shut down the system. I brought my machine in to NXT and it was diagnosed with bulging capacitors in the power supply section of the board. The Imac is notorious for heat issues. I paid $375 for the caps to be replaced. The problem was a bit better but not gone so I took it back again. They looked at it and declared that it was as good as they could make it.Three weeks ago, late April 2013, the problem was back to the same severity as before. I decided to try another shop.They diagnosed the same issue and showed me the hot-glued but never replaced capacitors that I thought had been replaced by NXT. Guess NOT!.CNA Computers in Broomall actual repaired my computer. Now it is running much better. The improvement is obvious.If you REALLY want your machine repaired skip NXT Computers in Springfield.

Charged me $80 for a cleaning and lubrication which is basically them just blowing compressed air into my fans to get dust out. They did this in response to FPS issues while I played games. They said We think we fixed the problem. Took my laptop home and noticed no differences at all.Went to a DIFFERENT repair shop and was told right then and there what my problems were by technician, parts were picked up and installed 24 hours afterwards.Do not recommend this location, they dont apply a scientific method to figuring out your problems unless theyre clearly visible and then give you a nice expensive solution they think worked and write on the bill if x doesnt work then Y might, bring it back if there is still issues! (So we can charge you more money).Rating: 10%, probably less. Irritated and feeling like my issue was resolved half-assedly.
