My daughter has had eye issues for two years now. We went to this company originally because they were the only ones willing to help with glasses with her being so young. We already had her script from her pediatric Eye doctor. First time going through them was great. Got glasses she loved, they worked great with getting them just right fitting.Now the second time to get new glasses has gone by couldn’t every get ahold of anyone to make an appointment, called the location several times sat on hold for 30-40 minutes a time and got hung up on. Finally had to just drive the hour drive to just go up there to make an appointment. Came back for the appointment they let us in. Completely ignored us finally got someone to help get stuff ordered. Waited three months for the glasses. Was a pain to get another appointment set to just get them fitted to her. Took my daughter to her fallow up appointment after having surgery. Found out they had her glasses all wrong causing her to see as if she was looking through a fish bowl. After many calls, many hang ups. We finally got ahold of someone to get her lenses fixed. At first they wanted us to pay to get them redone. After some talk they finally said they would do it for free. The glasses lasted two weeks. The ear pieces just fell off( nothing my kid did) I don’t want to wait another month for new ones. I just need a copy of her script and of course I keep getting hung up on.
Please update your hours on Google. I drove across town after work because it says you are open until 7. Only to find out that you close at 6 every day. Now I have to wait until Monday to pick up my glasses
I went this morning for my yearly exam. I wasn’t in the scheduling system, but they were able to get me in anyway due to cancellations (thankfully, weather was on my side so I wouldn’t have had to drive on the icy roads just to find out my appointment was never scheduled). The team I worked with was amazing, so nice and personable. Even the other girls out front were able to hold conversation with me and were very pleasant. The new virtual visits worked without a hiccup and the doctor was great. I changed my mind half way through and decided to go with glasses and contacts and they were able to accommodate my changed plans with no hesitation (because you need another exam for contacts). I had apologized ahead of time because I am very picky when it comes to glasses and she was able to pick out A BUNCH for me and give me honest feedback about how they looked, not caring about needing to then sanitize all those glasses after trying them on. Everything was clean and accommodating to COVID-19 guidelines. I had a very pleasant experience during this appointment.
This whole experience (1/21/21) was pretty frustrating. I started out by trying to book an appointment by phone. It’s nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone at all. So, I gave up and went to the website to make the appointment. Then I read that they only have virtual appointments available with the optometrist. Since that seemed like a neglectful way to practice, I wanted to call and see if they had any optometrists in the office. It took me over half an hour to finally get someone on the phone and they of course answered no. I end up making an appointment online anyway.When I got there I had to wait for 10-15 minutes, no big deal. However, while I was waiting, I noticed the two women in the front of the office ignored the phone ringing the entire time I was waiting while they talked about going out for someone’s birthday and whatnot. They obviously weren’t even considering that they should answer the phone. But eventually the phone stopped ringing just before I went back... poor customer service.Then the exam came and the gentleman that helped me out was pretty nice, and recorded things for the optometrist tech and maybe optometrist to review. BUT, although I went to this same vision works last year, they didn’t have any of my info (including past prescriptions) on file! and I didn’t have my glasses so they couldn’t check that way. So the exam ends and I was told they would let me know when my trial contacts are in (since they charged my insurance $50 for my CL plan replac eval). So here I am a month later with no phone call and when I try to call to ask if they are in, I couldn’t get a person on the phone. I assume they are sitting there letting it ring. I am going to order my year supply of contacts on one of my united healthcare suggested websites that takes insurance because its half the cost, and I am about to lose my eye insurance due to turning 26 and cannot depend on the urgency of this business to charge insurance in time. BUT, my prescription looks significantly different from my current one and I’m not sure which prescription I need to order because I never got my trial pair!I’m a pretty easy person to please, but I can definitively say I will not be going to any visionworks again. Customer service is non existent in this sort of “mill” operation they run at visionworks.
I have made an appointment back in August before school started and wasn’t able to get in until November. I go into have my appointment and they say I’m completely not in the system! Come on.
Had excellent service compared to another place I went. Eye exam was detailed and everything was explained in terms I could understand. Jessica was very helpful in choosing my frames and options I wanted. I work in retail and this was all top level of service. Very happy I came back here.
I had very disappointed experience on today. I had set a appointment for 11:45 an it was 10mins before Jessica came to the door to ask if I needed help an i told her I had a 11:45 appointment an she told at 11:55 after i had been standing outside the store waiting to let someone know because I couldnt go in the store because they only had a 4 people in the store at a time so because I had to wait on somebody to come to the door when I was told someone would already be at the door. when I made it but it was not. Then I was told that the appointment time I was given was not rite that it was11:40 I didnt know anything about 11:40 but ok one customer lost.they need better employees with better attitudes about helping customer
So been going here for years great staff no complaints with that but you can never get ahold of anyone when you call... very frustrating...
As a first time with glasses I didnt know what I needed or what to expect. Everyone here was professional and caring, they took the time out to explain the process and helped me understand vision. Jessica was phenomenal and has a customer centric personality. She took the time out to help find the right pair of glasses. I will definitely be going back for years to come.
I love Visionworks! Robin is wonderful and got me eligible for 60% off glasses with my contacts (and simultaneously made my contacts cheaper) by becoming a rewards member. Then, when I came back for glasses, she was knowledgeable about types of lenses and helped me compare prices. For someone who hadnt had glasses since high school, I was grateful for the guidance and expertise shown by the staff. Thanks, Robin!
I had an issues with my glasses. They fixed me right up. But the people are great, Dr. Wood is hilarious. I’m not sensitive so his jokes didn’t offend me. Good to have a doctor who likes to joke around still. Great place. I’ll recommend it to my friends. Thanks again gang. 🤘🏻
Just wonderful! The eye exam was thorough, quick and I got really good glasses! Robyn helped me order my frames and lenses -- she was great! I was told my glasses would be ready within 10 day (I bought a back-up pair as well) and they were ready in five! Went in today to had my frames slightly adjusted -- they were a bit too tight. Now theyre perfect. Just like my experience with Vision Works!
This place has saved me so many times when either my kids or dog broke my glasses and I was blind and desperate for help! I literally couldn’t work until I got something done because I have a desk job and very poor eyesight. They had new glasses and lenses made for me in less than 2 hours so I didn’t have to miss much work, seriously LIFE SAVERS 🙌. Jessica was very helpful and quick to help me both times! The staff there is very sweet and funny and happy to help. Highly recommend this place!!!
I’ve had nothing but a horrible experience with this company. I went in for my eye exam and had to come back later to get glasses due to my work schedule. I was told the day of my exam that my insurance would cover glasses and it’s one of the best (which is true), I go in a few days later to pick out my glasses and that’s when everything hit the fan. I walked around the lobby for 30 minutes before anyone even talked to me, had my glasses in hand waiting on someone for an additional 10 minutes, when someone FINALLY came over to help I was told my insurance couldn’t be found. I left, spoke with my insurance about who they do eye care through, go in again, where they then tell me they can’t use my insurance, at this point I’m desperate to be able to get glasses because I can’t see well at all so I pay the full price.Fast forward 2 weeks later, two days before my “promised date for glasses” and it took almost an hour before the one girl working in the lobby decided to grab some one to help the massive amount of people in the lobby. I’m told that my glasses weren’t in/done yet and they will call me when their done. I leave thinking nine the wiser. Until my promised date passes and I still haven’t been contacted. I called and turns out they broke the lenses and no one thought to call me and let me know even though I had just been in the store a couple days before.I have never had such terrible service, I will never be returning to this place again! The lack of helpful employees as well as common decency to let your customers know what is going on is ridiculous and I don’t know how you keep business when you treat your customers this way! If there was a way to give just a portion of a star I would!
I have always had wonderful experiences here. I like Dr. Wood. He did retinal photos on me and was able to discover I have high blood pressure. He showed me and explained to me how much damage it can do to your eyes. He is very fun but also very smart and I appreciate him. The staff works hard. They have so many cute frames to choose from. There was a year supply discount and mail in rebate on my contacts. I got half off my glasses with a discount they offered. I was very happy!!!
If I could I would give 10 stars. I am traveling through Springfield and broke my eye glasses. Jessica went way above and beyond and got me fixed up. She was truly a delight. I would have been in a real pickle if it wasn’t for her. Thank you so much for having someone on staff that exemplifies what customer service is..
This was by far the best Vision Works I have been to! The doctors are super nice and very informative, he helped me understand what he was doing and also took the time to make me feel comfortable and made small talk to make it more personal. Robyn who works there is the absolute sweetest! I’d go to her every time, she was so patient with me and all my questions and not once did I feel rushed or being taken advantage of. She really and truly wants to help you and get the right fit and product for you❤️ Definitely recommend
Be very cautious about this place. They will lie to you to make a sale. We have been customers for a very long time and we returned on November 9th to get new glasses for my wife. We were told that the lab tech was out so they would send the glasses out to their lab. When they were made, the glasses would be sent to us by UPS. They told us that most people get their glasses within 1 week but they had to tell us 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, I called the store and they told me that the lenses had arrived today and they would be making the glasses today or tomorrow and we should receive them maybe by Tuesday. The sad thing is that they did not care but they did offer to send a free box of lenses cleaners. I called the corporate office and they finally got the store to overnight the glasses, so we can expect them by Monday. Most successful business under promise and over deliver. This store over promises and under delivers. We will never do business with Vision Works again. I am sure I will get the same canned response from the owner. We will take their apology and $2 from our pocket and buy coffee at McDonalds.
My family has been coming to the Springfield Mo. location for about 15 yrs. Not because we have to, its because we choose too. They have excellent customer service and come to know my family very well over the years, like our needs, and preferences as they change over the years. I love Robyn, she is the best! Year after year she has helped me find the perfect frames, even though it takes me forever to decide! She is so patient and kind. If I dont find what I need on display she goes through the cabinets until I find the PERFECT ONE for me. Thank you to the Doctors, staff and especially Robyn.
I love my new glasses and contacts. They have so many frames to choose from. I was very happy with Dr. Hare. She was very thorough. They offer the best retinal photos and it was cheaper there. The staff are hard working! I recommend this place.

I am a foster parent and my daughter has Medicaid because of this. Now with fosters medicaid covers medical, dental and vision. I called to verify that they take medicaid before I made an appointment. I was told yes. I made the appointment. We get to the appointment and I am told they dont take medicaid because medicaid is only for medical....uhmmmm, Noooo, No its not, and why did you tell me yes when I called?!?!?!Nice, well done Vision Works. Thank you for wasting my time, much appreciated!
I was an existing customer. I had an appointment for an eye exam that Visionworks rescheduled TWICE due to their own scheduling errors. Im a single mom so it is difficult to plan for appointments, but I was still understanding both times. My third attempt at an appointment was scheduled for 1:30pm. I called when I was on my way to let them know I may be a couple minutes late due to a meeting running late and that it wouldnt be more than 5 minutes late. I was told that is unacceptable and interferes with the doctors lunch so I would have to reschedule. I told her Id get there on time. I arrived at 1:32 (for my 1:30 appointment) and was told the doctor already left for lunch. Dr. Hare to be specific. I will never attempt to give Visionworks my business again and would urge others not to as well. This entire experience was ridiculous.
I have used this location twice with numerous issues. The last time I went, I was told that my left eye was a -7.00 in contacts and my right eye was a -6.50. The trial pair I was sent home in made me dizzy but I could see, and so we ordered my year supply so that I didnt lose the opportunity to use insurance. I have not been able to wear these contacts since week two, 5-6 months ago. I had to wait until my insurance would cover again and I had the finances to go to a different eye clinic. I ended up going to Pearle Vision last night, only to find out that Vision works told me incorrectly. I am a -6.50 in my left eye and a -7.00 in my right eye. This infuriates me. I understand accidents happen, BUT HOW DO YOU WRITE DOWN THE WRONG NUMBERS FOR EACH EYE, LABEL THE BOXES WRONG, AND TELL ME THE DIZZINESS IS NORMAL. DO NOT GO HERE. I really wish I would have researched better before trying this clinic. I see Im not the only one with similar issues!
I highly recommend going to Visionworks! The staff was very professional and informative! I stepped on my glasses and broke them and cant see 2 feet in front of me. They care about you and made my glasses in a speedy time considering the Dr was done for the day. The lady in the back still squeezed me in for an exam and when I came out to the front the sales person helped me find exactly what I wanted and had my new pair in less than a hour. I will return for sure and highly recommend them to anyone that needs a professional efficient service.
I’ve gone to this location every year for 3 years and I’m impressed with all of the love I’m shown every time. The staff truly makes me feel like family and it’s the best atmosphere I’ve even encountered. No one acts stuck up like at some other eye care places.

Great experience with Jessica who handled my prescription, covering all the details concerning my insurance and what was the best value for the coverage. Wow this was the best price I have ever paid for all of the add ons, High definition lenses, UV protection, bifocals, and smart screen (reduce computer and smart phone blue light) plus the frames! I wish I could give less than 1 star. The optometrist didnt do my test correctly, so I had to go back for another one. My first order of contacts didnt get put in. My second order didnt get put in either. My third finally did, but then didnt come in for over 4 weeks. I reordered a 6 month supply in early October. Its now November and still dont have them. DO NOT RECOMMEND. GO SOMEHWERE ELSE
I brought my daughter to Visionworks because she broke her glassesI recommend Visionworks to anyone looking or needing A caring and professional vision center.They got her in for an exam even when the doctor was ready to go. My daughter had a pair of glasses in about an hour. I would recommend this place to anyone that is needing glasses and wants professionalism if you do go to Visionworks because they care!!
Everyone I have worked with here is really nice and tries their best to make the customers happy. Here is the part that is the most important to me though - if your new glasses are not working for you then you can return them (within 30 days of getting them) and try again. Ill be honest - Im currently waiting on my third pair to be made but I haven t had to pay for any kind of restocking fee or anything like that. Turns out the frame on the first pair was too big so when viewing, it was hard to find the correct spot to see to read or to see the computer. The second pair - turned out the frame was too thick for bi-focals, so I had trouble reading with them. All I saw was the frame. Hannah helped me pick out the third frame and she is the one who helped me find the perfect frame two years ago when I needed glasses so Im very hopeful about this third pair. My husband got glasses at the same time as I did and his were perfect from the start. We looked around this year at other eyeglass businesses to compare prices but all the other places we went seemed to only have cheap frames and their customer service was either awful or non-existent. We have been going to Vision Works for the past several years and will continue to do business with them. I know if I am not happy, they will work with me until I am.
There was a manufacturers defect in my transitions lenses. They ordered new lenses and had them cut to the same frames they had in store so I would not have to be without my glasses or wait in store for a long time upon pick up. Unfortunately, the lenses still did not fit my frames. They were going to order new ones but called after I left the store and said they would just let me have the frames they were cut to so I would not have to wait anymore time. They were so sweet and helpful! I wouldnt go anywhere else!

This place SUCKS! If I could give a NEGATIVE star I would. They are a bunch of scam artists. They charged me for a contact fitting but never did it because my prescription wasnt changed from my last exam. I had a coupon THEY mailed me for a half price exam but they got their full price by charging for something they didnt do! I wouldnt take my DOG to these people. They look for every way possible to charge you. And did you know that if you have insurance the costs are higher than if you dont? whats up with that?? If you want a REAL eye doctor - go somewhere else!
Last year eye exam went great but when time to pick up my glasses they informed me someone had already picked them up which ended up being a lie. They eventually found them in a sample bin. I then scheduled my annual appointment for eye this year to only show up to be told it had been canceled. Took my business elsewhere
I had excellent service besides Dr. Wood, who did my eye exam. He treated me like a child and gave me no information about my eyes after the brief exam he did. After doing the exam all he told me was to go look around and buy glasses. I had to ask a retail worker what exactly I needed, and when I asked to speak with him again he just sent the retail worker out to re-explain what she already told me. I received no respect or information whatsoever from him.
I wish I had read reviews before coming in to this business. Very expensive, thank goodness for insurance. Out of pocket almost $600.....cant speak to quality, as I have been waiting 19 days for my glasses. Initially told it would probably be 10 days or so, but probably quicker. Each time I call and check i am told it will be a day or two...........
I brought my daughter in to have her glasses adjusted yesterday (glasses that were purchased at Vision Works 1 year ago). The man that did the adjustment broke them and only offered to give me 25% off a new pair. He said they had been previously broken and therefore would not replace them. The issue is they have NEVER been broken and HE is the one that broke them during the HIS adjustment. I have had them adjusted twice in the last year at Vision Works but they have never been broken. If they had been broken I would have taken them back to Vision Works to get them fixed and they would have had record of it. I will NOT be going back and will spend my money else.
Mostly unimpressed. They try to up-sell things that dont need done during the exam. They fail to tell you that if you have a contact lens exam and dont get the contacts that day the price of the exam goes up by $20 for no apparent reason. I ran this through insurance and the guy said there was no cost for my $29.99 exam that became $49.99 and suddenly at the bottom of the receipt it shows billable back to customer after insurance deductions - $99.99. I spend 20 minutes looking for glasses and then 40 minutes waiting to be helped with ordering them which was another lengthy up-sell scam that I did not fall for. They attempted to bill the entire exam AGAIN. I was working with the only coherent employee as the rest kept interrupting her to learn how to do something or ask questions. After nearly 2 hours of checking out I got to leave feeling hopeful the rest of the experience wasnt like that. Called 10 days later to be told they just finished up my glasses which isnt possibly since they had to be sent out to be done, what he meant was they were there and done and no one called me. I am headed to pick them up now and god help me there is nothing wrong.UPDATE! The prescription was too strong and the frames seemed tilted. I talked to the doctor, got my old script back and got all new glasses made. However, they didnt measure my pupil distance or how they fit my face and even though I have new glasses now they seem slightly distorted. I wont be using this company ever again! I intend on going back to have them take the glasses and fully refund me. This is a joke. Not to mention they missed the 10 day promise and I waited 12 days.

Ive been going here for several years and have always enjoyed the quick and friendly service offered.For example this summer I woke up one day and noticed my eyes were red and sore. I didnt put my contacts in and waited it out for 2 hours to see if it would get better but it started to get worse, so I called to see if I could schedule an appointment later on in the day or even the next day and they told me I could come in right away. In 20 minutes from calling (took 15 to get there) I was getting checked out by the doctor.He told me I had pink eye and wrote me a prescription for antibiotic eye drops which cured my pink eye in a couple of days, didnt charge a single dollar for the impromptu visit and gave me some moistening eye drops to use with my contacts when I got better. I was in a pretty bad mood when I woke up that day, but the quick and friendly service at Visionworks quickly changed that.
Jessica did a fantastic job getting my wife and I glasses that we both love. I definitely recommend Visionworks for all your glasses needs.
With each visit I have had so many problems.1. I was given the exam for contacts and wasnt told that my insurance didnt cover the exam until AFTER I had already had the exam.2. I wasnt told until the end of my appointment that my insurance only covered 6 months worth of contacts. I was only told because I couldnt figure out why my total was so high and had to ask.3. They had to order in my contacts. They called me for pickup and then when I went to pick up the woman at the front desk was very confused and couldnt figure out what I was there to pick up. I had to tell her multiple times that I had received a phone call for pickup and that I was there to pick up 6 months of contacts.4. After all of that I received two boxes of only one eye, which wouldnt have been a huge deal but my eyes are different prescriptions.5. 4 months later I received a phone call saying that I had something still there that I needed to pick up. I had no idea what it was, but I went anyways because I assume after receiving a phone call from an employee saying I still have something there, that I will have something there to pick up. When I showed up, the front desk woman was complaining about her job and then was condescending about the whole ordeal. She kept saying that I hadnt placed an order since May, so why would we have something here for you to pick up if you havent placed an order since May? Shed treated me like I was illogical for thinking they would have something there for me, when the only reason I was there in the first place was because one of their employees called me and told me that I did. It was to the point that I had to replay the voicemail on speakerphone because theyd had no record of me being called or why I was even called in the first place.6. I explained that I thought I was there to pickup my left eye after only being given the contacts for my right eye back in May, and they again, treated me like I was unintelligent for not knowing that two boxes was a year supply. Being someone who has never had contacts before, Id explained that this was new for me and I didnt know what a 6 month or a year supply would look like. As the customer, Id assumed I was being given the correct items. Especially after getting a phone call saying that my order was ready. Turns out I was given the wrong thing in May, and that they STILL needed to order my left eye in. She said it would be about three business days and that they would call me when they came in... that was last week and I still havent heard anything back from them.**Disclaimer**The woman at the front desk has been my main problem. There have been miscommunications about pickup, insurance coverage, appointment expectations, and I honestly thought the year prior she was new... an entire year later and she still comes off as highly uneducated on her job expectations and has caused a lot of confusion and frustration on our end. When brought into a situation she doesnt have an answer for, she becomes defensive and condescending, and demeans us as the customers for not knowing the answer in the first place. Most others have been kind to us, but unfortunately she has caused us too much chaos from what should have been a relatively easy process.
I didnt even get seen by them before I had a bad experience. I asked them to release my insurance and they did not. When making an appointment with another eye dr they advised they still had my insurance on hold and questioned if I had had an exam this year no. I have not. I called this company again and asked them to release my insurance, they assured me they would. Today I arrive for my appointment and find the DID NOT RELEASE IT!!!!!! I would never recommend this place due to this and before you even get in with them they start their pushing products and no one seems to know what is going on.

Had an exam done about a year ago by Dr. Hare. She gave me a bad presciption. I even told her while looking through the lenses on the chair that my eyes were fuzzy and she said its still 20/20. But yeah, at least one eye is visibly worse than the other when I tried wearing the contacts. Id hope to have at least even sight instead of getting eye strain after an hour, so theyre really unwearable.They upsale the contacts quite a bit as well. The pack they sold me is $34 online and they charged me around $74 per pack. They straight up just doubled the cost of those packs.Im still angry about this. I spent $240 there and got nothing out of it. I know because I still have the receipt. They upsold me on the discount for glasses and frames. But I never went to get them because I didnt want to have to pay another $70 to get a correct prescription from the some people who gave me a bad one in the first place.

Wait was very long. They had so many mix ups with the customers and their appointments. The lady at the counter in the back was really unprofessional with her coworker and told me she wanted to punch him in the face. You dont tell that to a customer. Not only that, but I bought contacts 2 weeks later and they gave me the wrong prescription... Everywhere I looked around in this place, customers always seemed unsatisfied. The only okay experiences I got from this place was the eye exam and the man with the glasses at the front.

We came in to look for frames for my husband today. Literally no one said a word to us. There were 3 employees messing around at the desk who were clearly annoyed we were there it was 520 pm Saturday Dec 29th. At one point, one of the young men working said I hate when people just come in and look around. We were just looking, we wanted to buy frames but then my husband and I left, they obviously didnt want our business. We went down the hall and purchased his frames at LensCrafters where they were more than friendly!
After the eye exam process, the rest of our experience was terrible. The sales lady helping us with our frames and lenses didnt have a clue. She couldnt even do simple math without a calculator. So, after that whole ordeal and finally getting our glasses picked out, she waited until we paid almost $500 to inform us that the lab techs had gone home for the day and the glasses wouldnt be ready until noon the next day (we live 100 miles away). We were informed that the glasses would be shipped overnight to us Saturday.After receiving the glasses that Tuesday.... my lenses were not cut to fit the lenses properly on either side. So, we had to drive back to Springfield to get our refund and they still tried to sell us the same glasses at a discounted price. Totally disappointing.
Horrible..the eye doctor was eating a Snickers bar while giving my exam after making me wait 20 minutes....then tried the contacts something was very wrong...she said hmmm I dont k ow! Finally me and the receptionist figure out the axis was 20 instead of the 120 it should have been....the doctor said there you have it simple human error!!!! What!!!

I have been before and it was ok but not great. I went back for my yearly exam, the new doctor and one of the employees were not getting along and I waited for almost 30 minutes for the doctor to come in and see me. In the meantime I heard the two arguing and the doctor told me that my eyes have gotten twice as worse as they were last year when I was there. When I received my new glasses I can not see a thing! I see better with my old ones!!! I will not be back the rest of my life and will tell everyone I know not to go there.
Contacted my vision provider (VSP) and they suggested I go here to get new lenses in my old frames. According to VSP it should have cost - $35 for polycarbonate- $45 for anti reflective coating - plus a $10 copayThe rep at visionworks first told me it would be $220 plus my copay. I told him what I was quoted from VSP and he gave me a new price of 120 for only the polycarbonate without reflective or my copay.I called VSP back and they put in a complaint saying that they were trying to charge me more than they were allowed to.Highly concerning that this would be done. By the way, Sams Club quoted $110 for my lenses with polycarbonate and anti reflective coating (and they dont even take my insurance).

They over charged me and then they try to play it off with that was what you had to pay in taxes. Haha no I have paid the same price for years. And now they wont give me my refund. I wont be back thanks for being theives.
**This rating is about the Optometrist/Opthalmologist, not VisionWorks Store and Staff**I had tried several times to get an eye exam here and was unable to due to the optometrist/opthalmologist leaving early, getting sick halfway through the day and whatever else. Finally, on my last attempt at scheduling an appointment for 4:15 pm on Tuesday, 02/21/2017, the Optometrist/Opthalmologist had got sick and was not doing eye exams for the rest of the day before 1:00 pm. I called Eyeglass World and got right in.What I will say about VisionWorks is the store staff are great. A goofy guy (but good and helpful salesman) in a lab coat was informative, a lady was great and quick with a specific quote on glasses and the place was packed everytime I went in. Although crowded, the store staff was excellent and attentive.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! WENT BACK TO PICK UP MY DAUGHTERS GLASSES & THEY COULDNT FIND THEM. ONCE THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE CAME TO WORK THEY CALLED & FOUND THEM. I WAS THEN TOLD THEYD BE READY IN AN HOUR TO TWO & I WOULD RECEIVE A PHONE CALL. NEVER HEARD A WORD. THE NEXT DAY I CALLED TO SEE IF THEY WAS READY. THEY SAID YES. I EXPLAINED HOW DISSATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED & THE REPRESENTATIVE COULD CARE LESS & HAD NOTHING TO SAY. WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! THEY ALSO CHARGED ME FOR THE GLASSES BEFORE TELLING ME THEY WASNT READY TO GO.
Claim they couldnt verify insurance due to insurance website being down, but per my telephone call to insurance they could do this verbally. Cameron refused and told me he had experience with this even though I had insurance on the other line confirming all he had to do was call. Needless to say we are taking our needs elsewhere. Thanks
This is the combination of fast food, insurance sales, and telemarketing. A complete waste of my time.
