Absolutely wonderful service from start to finish! I was interested in getting contacts for the first time, and hadnt had an eye exam in about 6 years. The doctor was kind and caring and made sure that I knew which contacts would be best for me, and went over what was necessary to understand my prescription and eye health. When it came time for the fitting, Shareef (I hope I am spelling his name correctly!) was kind and patient while I took them in and out several times to make sure I had the hang of it. At no point did I feel uncomfortable while practicing, even if it did take me a little while. If you are looking for kind and informative optometrists look no further!

My five star is for the exceptional service I have received from 4/20/21 to today 4/28/21. I received my glasses in mint condition. Every staff member there are top notch professionals, and very compassionate people!! Please keep this team. Big props to the entire team from Ms. Jackson!!!

Better off with an ACTUAL doctors office ! They are a chain and don’t care about the patient. All they care about is running their numbers.

The Dr Nadeen was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and was very patient in answering all of my questions.

I had a great experience at Visual Health Doctors of Optometry in Springfield Mall. Doctor Collins is absolutely amazing. He is kind, knowledgeable (he even speaks Spanish), patient and caring. I would recommend this practice for anyone looking to get an eye exam.

Very rude and unhelpful. The doctor told me that he was concerned that I had a slow pupil reaction time which is indicative of MS. Takes more than that to be diagnosed with MS thank you very much. Poor selection of frames. I was quoted one price and charged a higher amount. Very disappointing experience! I will not be returning and would discourage anyone else from ever using Visual Health!

Very disappointed.SCAM ARTIST. Just an FYI if you get a contact exam and youve never worn contacts before there is a $40 mandatory class you have to take that is not included in the eye exam. To skip the class you have to prove that you can insert and remove your lense. The optometrist has to check to make sure the contact fits on your. They will not release the prescription until you do. If you arent able to get it..they just tell you to go home and practice. BSUsually any other eye doctors will teach you how to properly wear contacts without making you pay extra for it or holding your prescription hostage.JUST A HEADS UP

Visual Health are top notch optometrist/opticians. They are very thorough and professional. This was my first visit to Springfield location after previously using the Clarendon store. They provide options to help you make the best decisions and proactively explain specials and alternatives. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience! James, The optometrist on staff, was professional, extremely thorough, and gave me the best prescription writing to date. As a wearer of glasses since the age of 4 that’s truly saying something. The rest of the staff were also incredibly helpful with their take on which pair of glasses best suited me. Super awesome service!! Broke my glasses & found out my contacts were expired, so i was left blind and freaking out. Luckily, Erla managed to fit me in last minute (which i’m incredibly grateful for) and was met with fantastic customer service from both her and Balil. Thanks again for all your help, I found the perfect place for all my vision needs :)

Honestly this place is great for every part. Some of these reviews I think it comes down to how you treat people. And these people are so helpful and the optometrist explains what everything means. They were honest about what looked good and I valued that. BEST PLACE IN THE MALL. Thanks!!

Id known that there was something wrong both with my lens prescription and with my glasses themselves. I happened to be wandering around Springfield Mall and stopped to look into the window of Visual Health. On a whim I walked in and immediately felt comfortable. I decided to do something about my less than perfect glasses. I left Visual Health with an appointment for a new eye exam and with ideas about new frames. My eye exam was thorough, I was assured that my vision could be markedly improved with a proper prescription, and I selected two pairs of frames that were precisely what I was looking and hoping for. At every step of the examination and later the frames/lens selection and measurement process, I knew I was in professional hands. I wish Id discovered Visual Health earlier in my life. Dr. James, Erla and Natalia made me confident that I was professional and capable hands - and they were all both friendly and delightful.Many places that sell eye wear have cute or trendy names, but when it comes to eye health, an honest and assuring name ought to be what one looks for. Visual Health say it all - and does it all very well, too!

That used to be really good last year. New staff and management suck. Just drove two hours. My contacts were giving me a problem. They told me to come and I need to check my eye. When I got here they just told me to contact my contact lens company and see what they can do for me

I appreciate how they helped me pick out my glasses, but I wasn’t happy happy about the prices. Almost $300 for a standard pair after the Groupon “discount” seems a bit excessive. I went to the location at the Springfield mall.

Dr. RICHARD BOSSIN IS A GREAT eye doctor FOR KIDS! Very patient my 4yr old son. He made his appointment fun and entertaining during his visit. Highly recommended! He is anazing!

Had an excellent experience with the Doctor, but the standout by far was Mateen. 2 weeks after I initially saw him, he remembered almost everything I had mentioned while considering a new pair of glasses and made many suggestions that were spot-on for my personal tastes. I was a random walk-in, hoping they had space for my annual check up as I saw 3 people standing by the counter. As I walked in, turns out they worked there and greeted me kindly right away. The doctor was very helpful, knowledge and a true professional. Mateen who assisted with picking out my glasses was very sweet and enthusiastic. He has outstanding customer service and because I had such a great experience, I had my sister cancel her appointment at another Optometry office and brought her there. I recommend this place, especially when Mateen is working!

Had a eye exam done here and when lens were created they were completely off like i was looking thru soneone elses glasses DO NOT GET EYE EXAM FROM HERE!

I was referred to this store by my neighbor who claimed she had gone here for the last 2 years and boy was I glad to come in. Very nice and polite folks working here. All 3 helped me pick out the right frames that im in love with. The doctor was friendly and really answered all my questions in detail in regards to contacts and my prescription. Ive had glasses all my life and been to many different places over the years but I think this is among the best practices. Great prices and promotions to help out the patient and staff who understood me and saw me as a friend rather than just another customer that walking in. Definitely recommending this store and location to friends and family. You wont be disappointed!!

The service I received from the staff and the quality of care from the doctor was absolutely horrendous. I had a few questions for the doctor and he quickly dismissed them all - he was terse and didnt like that I was interested in my eye health. He sent me away with some contacts to try at home (which I did like) and then come back a week later to see how theyre doing. At no point did he discuss any vision changes or ask about the contacts I have been wearing the last 12 years of my life. In fact, he became ANGRY when I even tried to tell him about my past experiences with contacts. He kept saying well, this is different. I would think a healthcare provider would care to know if youve had a bad experience with a certain brand or type of lens.Furthermore, his staff tried pressuring me to purchase the contacts from their office. I refused because Im a smart shopper and I know that I can buy the contacts online for cheaper. I was able to find a years supply for HALF THE PRICE! So naturally, I bought them online and had the company contact my eye doctor to verify the RX. The next day I get an email from the contacts company saying that the doctors office did not agree with the RX information I had inputted.... Im sorry, I copied the information directly from what I had been given. Why would the optometrist input a different eye prescription in my chart than the one he gave me? The person I spoke to on the phone said that if I purchased it from the office, then they would order the power that I said. Doesnt that seem a little fishy?This is all a big, big, big, big scam. Patient care should also be the top priority, not money. I shouldnt have to purchase my contacts for $600 from the office to get the prescription that fits my eyes. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I usually do a lot of research for doctors especially reviews online. I was concerned Today because I didnt have time ans just made an appointment following my insurance recommendations. Visual Health doctors is a very dedicated place that focus definitely about their customer. From the doctor that takes his time to make sure he answers all your questions and perform your eye evaluation with so much attention to detail to the very attentive sales representatives at the front that go to the extra mile to make sure you leave happy.Id like to compliment one of the employees that made my experience a great one, his name is Mateen, he went above and beyond to help me get the right pair of glasses, he spoke with his manager in my behalf to reduce the price for me to be able to get the glasses I needed in my budget even thought was way lower than the total. I can tell it wasnt about selling the merchandise, or getting a commission, he really cares about how the customer feels, he wants to make sure you have a good experience and leave happy. Mateen is an awesome representative, knowledgeable and kind that definitely will go to the extra mile to make a customer feel appreciated and valued. Thank you Mateen, Dr. Damiani and the manager that helped me, I will definitely come back and recommend you guys to my family and friends!

I really liked the attention of the place .. the very attentive doctor the lady who helped me with the prescription of the glasses for my children 100% but if there was something that I noticed and it was in the other younger girl that I saw that she does not have patience for the questions oh for the time that each child can take to choose the glasses when trying on the glasses ... that if they are annoyed because they are children and she sees that she has no patience I think that because she is young she may not have children yet and He does not know what that is in children ... but afterwards everything is very good 💯
