This store has an excellent selection for being only a Neighborhood Market vs Super Store. The prices are great and everything is really clean every time I go in to here. The staff here are excellent and very friendly and helpful when you ask for the location of an item. I only have two down sides for this Walmart....their bakery goods are kind of a hit and miss. A lot of their nice individual serving pies are crammed full of sodium/salt for whatever reason. The breads often go bad in two days(maybe their ingredients are getting past date???), though they are usually very reasonably priced. The other thing is just that sometimes the shelves are mismarked or the item that is there is of the same brand and type of goods but the quantity is different so its hard to tell if the price is the same just they went with a larger size product to replace it. Just a pet peeve really in the long run, but can be a hassle when trying to shop quickly. I would highly recommend this store for anyone who doesnt want to find huge crowds at the larger store of if you want something more convenient close to your home.

I forgot a very important medication when I travelled to Springfield for business. My pharmacy was able to transfer a refill to this WM Market with no issues. The pharmacy staff was very polite and incredibly helpful. Thank You!

This location seems to have a lot of items the bigger Walmart doesnt. The workers are very generous and about every week they have markdowns that exceed the clearance section Walmart has.

Great selection of items, neighborhood markets tend to have elevated prices due to convenience, would recommend just going to a supercenter.

This is a great Walmart. The workers were kind. The other individuals that were there in the store seem to be very friendly people as well. Things are easy to find in the store was very clean. I’ll give it five stars for those reasons. It was a very pleasant experience. I don’t know what else you can say about a Walmart.

Came in for a walk-in covid shot. I was greeted immediately and for something that I thought would take forever took maybe 10 minutes. The pharmacy at this location is the best Ive been to in a long time.

Nice. The staff is generally really helpful and nice at this location. The only thing I dont really like is that they hardly ever have refrigerated creamer in stock, except for a small amount. There is very little selection and I have to go to another location to get the Almond Joy Creamer that Im addicted to. Tonight they barely even had any French Vanilla or Hazelnut.

This is my regular go-to place for groceries. Its got a fair selection with selected speciality items. Employees are always helpful. It does not have a deli, I wish it did. But it has everything else one would need.

They were out of many basic food items, bacon, eggs, 2%milk, and more! We all knew a week ago that cold,snowy weather was approaching, apparently they didnt get the message, to order extra groceries. Nearly out of cat food and litter! Had a lots of candy and flowers for Valentines Day, and PLENTY OF TOILET PAPER!!! I had to go to another store to get the things I needed. But if you need toilet paper, candy, or flowers you were in the right place!

I GAVE THEM ONE STAR BECAUSE THATS THE LOWEST RATING 1 COULD GIVE. GOING THERE FRIDAY WAS THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. IM WARNING OTHERS OF THIS AS IVE TALKED WITH SEVERAL PEOPLE ( INCLUDING EMPLOYEES OUTSIDE IN THEIR PARKING LOT THAT HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS AT THIS LOCATION 😳). I WENT THROUGH SELF CHECK. I SCANNED 3 MONSTER DRINKS & TURNED TO TAKE ITEMS OUT OF MY CART. AN ALERT SHOWED UP WITH A MESSAGE SAYING ATTENTION NEEDED!! POSSIBLE UNSCANNED ITEM!!) I WAS IN A HURRY & ALERTED THE BLONDE HAIRED OLDER LADY & SHE SNAPPED THAT SHE WAS HELPING ANOTHER CUSTOMER. WHEN SHE CAME TO MY REGISTER, I WAS SUBJECTED TO HER REVIEWING THE TAPE TO PROVE I WASNT STEALING. 😠 SHE DETERMINED I HAD MOVED MY ELBOW IN A SUSPICIOUS MANNER WHICH CAUSED THE ALERT. SHE WAS VERY UNAPOLOGETIC. I FELT HORRIBLY WRONGED & WAS IN SUCH A HURRY TO LEAVE THE STORE, I DROPPED MY $40 CHANGE IN THE PARKING LOT & LOST IT.IF ALL WAL-MART STORES ARE DOING THIS, ITS WRONG TO TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE CRIMINALS FOR MERLY GOING THROUGH SELF CHECK. IF YOU DONT HAVE HIMANS TO MONITOR THE CAMERAS, DO AWAY WITH THIS POLICY. CUSTOMERS DESERVE BETTER

Convenient for me to get the items I need and quickly

This store is usually pretty clean and seems to be managed decently. Ive never had an excessive wait. Aside from that its just like any other Small-Mart. I have noticed that their clearance sections are never in the same place twice, which bugs me.

Seems that all Walmarts in Springfield area are lacking in their stock. Basic items are hard to find. Only if you know when the trucks are coming in. Have started to go to other grocery stores to pick up my food.

Had what I needed & the Walmart scan and go app made it super quick. I was at the checkout for less than 30 seconds.

Staff is friendly enough but their produce is of very poor quality. Ive had fruit be both under ripe and rotting in different spots on the same item.I usually make small talk with my cashier and Ive definitely been overcharged at least once because they found it too distracting to both scan and talk at the same time. Was charged for 3 avocados when I only got 2.

I hate it. I am disabled, last time I went Jan 6 evening. There were no casheirs open. Asked if they could get a casheir to assist me. Was told they couldnt so I just keft my iverfilled cart sitting there and walked out. The next day I went in and talked to the manager about what happened, he said that was not acceptable and he would take care of it. I am not able to use self checkout because of the health prinlems I had and I hate them making customers replace casheirs and continue to raise prices sky high while making you do there jovs for free. That isvwhy this was the first time I was back since Jan 6 and only because I had an emergency. HIRE CASHERS OR LOWER YOUR OUTRAGIOUS PRICES WHILE CUSTOMERS WORK FOR FREE.

This was my 1st experience at a Neighborhood Market and it was very enlightening. I was unaware of the variety of products they have compared to a regular SuperCenter. Very friendly staff. The only thing I dont like is that the carts are outside.

I tried to purchase nails, they have a lock so u have to get an associate, she couldnt open them. So she said someone else would bring them to the front, didnt happen . Bought a large bottle if alcohol, said 5$, rang up 15. Sais they just made a mistakeIts 15. But that had a lock oj. It also, 4 minutes to get help

They refused to give a refund on a wrist brace I accidentally bought for the wrong arm. Would only offer a gift card.

Sometimes I just really like going to the Neighborhood Market instead of the big box Wallys! Generally speaking I can always find everything on my list where at the superstore it seems like they are always out of the things Im looking for! Go figure...plus the Mkt. always seems cleaner, more organized and with just as many items to choose from.

Need a little of this or a dash of that? Forgot an ingredient for that whatever youre making? This is the perfect little stop! They are a WM Neighborhood Market so theyre much smaller than a supercenter. However, this is a big advantage if you just need a few little commonly carried items. There are virtually no lines and a wide variety of items available. Its a perfect little stop and they always seem to have disabled carts available when I go (unlike the supercenter).

This store is like every other Wal-Mart in terms of products and availability. However, I had an unfortunate incident in where management failed miserably and employees negative behavior is tolerated and even protected even when the customer was wrongfully treated. And unfortunately a customer was injured and then discarded with now after thought. But hey you still can get a little of everything there.

So since I moved back to Springfield this has been my primary place to shop. The staff is very friendly and always there to help. I am not a fan of Wal-Mart coming into my hometown and putting all the other markets out if business but the market is stocked, clean with friendly staff and thats not something you had with a lot of the old markets. Its sad that in this time 😔 of covid we lost a lot of small businesses but we do have the giant Wal-Mart to keep us fed.

The Amish potato salad is the best but they dont have the crumb donuts I like anymore.
