We Always feel special when we walk in. Their products are top quality. The staff treats us like family. Every Monday we pick up our order. It is always a pleasure.

Always great products at a fair price and get the ranch veggie dip it is really good. We go here all the time for all kinds of things but a coup,e things always stand out, the 3 pound Philadelphia Cream cheese is a bargain, they also have 2 pound cheddar block that is really tasty. Also dont forget the full pork loins, just to name a few things to pick up here.

They have a great selection of items. GFS often gets overlooked by shoppers but does a good job with deals on reasonably sized goods. Give this place a try next time you need frozen goods or are having a party. Great prices with no annual fee.

As always my experience at GFS was awesome. The staff there are so friendly and helpful. I will be back soon because on Halloween I will be selling dinners and there are a few items I will need to purchase from GFS that no other stores Ive visited carry or can match their prices. To top it all off there about five minutes from my job.

I love this store! Sales are always good. Bulk products with no membership fee. I still have a membership for similar stores but cheese is always cheaper here. My children love the frozen ancient grains.

It is a very good store to shop at for getting some items in a bulk quantity, the people are very helpful and friendly.

We love this store. Located between Lowes and JoAnne Fabrics on Springfields west side. Restaurant quality & good variety of fresh and frozen foods, good meat & dairy product selections including snacks and entrees if you want large quantity; appetizers, sauces, syrups, desserts, paper goods and storage/travel/display items like covered trays, plus a good basic selection of individual fresh produce or large bagged, prepared or whole fresh fruit & salad ingredients. Even cleaning supplies and cases of candy & soft drinks. Not the absolute cheapest in town, but a very good value, clean, bright, and youll be in and out quickly with no membership fees, and theyll pack it into a box to carry home. Spend a lot or grab one item, you wont regret it!4/18/2018, I have to add that I was very disappointed today to find that three items I need and have bought here are no longer carried. They had a great refrigerated plastic tub of horseradish cheese that several members of our family have enjoyed for years. No more. They also stopped carrying cupcake papers for baking. I use a lot of the regular size and the mini size as well. Now I have to find another source that has them in quantity packages and doesnt charge a lot. Grocery store prices are ridiculous for these. Im sad.

A good stop for bulk items that will help save money in the long run. About 50% cheaper than buying the same items in smaller packages for some items. Seems to be geared more towards the business side of things, like for institutions, buffets, banquets restaurants, cafeterias, or food trucks. But if you have a large family it would be very helpful for saving money. Meats, produce, spices, bulk freezer products, cheeses and other dairy products, etc.

Every time I come here to get ingredients for my 150-200 person meals I prepare, I am met with friendly faces. The staff is always willing to help me find items and figure out the best packages of product based on quantities I need. Keep up the outstanding service GFS-Springfield!

This morning the store did not to be stocked as well as normal. Out of cheese I needed (stocker got some for me) would have bought a veggie tray but were made.

Easiest Place ever, go in get what you need and your on your way. Everything is clean, food is awesome and easy to find. They also have great prices!

It like Aldis in bulk! They have some things all the time and sometimes you never know what theyre going to have but its always really good. And the customer service is excellent

Friendly workers. I have shopped in both Cincinnati Ohio and Springfield Illinois. Both stores are stocked pretty much the same. A little junky. But that doesnt stop me from shopping 😊.

The employees are courteous and knowledgeable. The products are plentiful and the quality is the absolute best fresh, frozen or grocery items.

They had their hamburger marked with the wrong price on all the labels and refused to honor the tag that was on all of the hamburger I am contacting corporate and the bbb
