Friendly staff and very organized. You can see the pride of keeping the store in order. Product items were lined up and squared to the front. Great attention to detail and kudos to the employees involved.

Best place to go for grocery shopping

Worst Stop n Shop ever. Gets worse with each passing year. Some employees there have zero concept of what even the most basic customer service is. A few employees who are of mature age who have been around a long time are great. The more recent younger ones are combative and bottom-of-the-barrel.

Great service, great merchandise. When they have a sale they always have a great deal of product.

Love that they have vegan/vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free but I wish they had more. I have to go to multiple places to find items elsewhere. I still go there regardless because they do have alot.

Unfortunately I was happy whit the place but somebody has to check expiration days on their products Im pretty sure they can do a better job.

As far as a grocery store this particular stop & shop is ok. Other stores in eastern MA and in Connecticut have a more extensive organic section. Self scanning/self-checkout here, the Boston Rd store #404, is a bit of a nuisance. Personally my orders EVERY time has been checked and re-scanned. Its supposed to be random but EVERY TIME regardlessof the order size? If those were my odds for the lottery I would have been a winner many times over. Targeted? Hmm. No, no problems at other stores ( in North Haven,CT nor Amesbury, MA for example). Moving on. The online ordering experiences have been better. Accurate orders and those working in this section are much friendlier.Although conveniently located and I have been a faithful shopper for years, Ill stick to online ordering or the other area stores with self checkouts.

I went with my friend to stop& shop Boston road in Springfield and I was very impressed with how the employees keep the store clean and I would go back there again and I would recommend stop& shop in Boston road in Springfield to everyone to go to for good customer service.

This grocery store is usually clean. The only issue I had was using the restrooms. It was filthy! Definitely not cleaned at all. But otherwise, they do a real good job with stocking their product and shelves. I use their pharmacy as well, and the pharmacist is usually nice. You can tell at times shes irritated but is always tries to stay nice to customers.I recommend this store.

Clean well stocked & friendly service

Clean, good customer service, but not very good on frozen selection. I was disappointed when all I could find was healthy food this and gluten free that. I understand the need for stocking those items but please do try to remember some of us like to indulge our fattier side 🙄

Great for shopping groceries, always fresh vegetables and fruits, the best selection of meat cuts. Prices are a little bit higher than other supermarkets but it definitely worth it

Stop & shop you need to retrain your deli employees! Rude and they never cut the meat right. Its close to my house but I guess Ill have to start shopping at Big Y, at least they know how to do the job right and more friendly employees.

I shopped here this morning. The associates were polite enough but I noticed that half of them have their masks on under their noses. We as customers are asked to wear them and I dont mind at all. I wear mine properly. I expect the same from all the employees that have customer contact.

Its ok but they dont have a huge selection of different things. I was disappointed, only a few choices of muffin mixes and couldnt find the Shake and Bake I like. No zucchini in produce or shredded lettuce. Prices keep going up. I do better at Walmart with more choices. I like the Westfield and Ware Walmarts the best. I think the Westfield Stop and Shop is better for selection than the one in Wilbraham. Apparently they wont acknowledge that they are going downhill fast. See all the other complaints and realize I spoke the truth and since then nothing has changed. Poor selection of everything. Bag of Russet potatoes I bought yesterday was funny looking skins and they cooked up tough and dry. A baked potato, poor quality and the first time I ever had that happen to me. The skins were bumpy and old looking and I guess they were! Done shopping at that one on Boston road. Never had issues with the one in Westfield so I am going back to it.

Everyday prices (not on big sale) are lower than Big Y typically. Their store made strawberry shortcake w/ real whipped cream is amazing, 10/10 better than most bakeries. Their selection is usually good, store is clean. They can use more staff sometimes.

The president, the governor and the Springfield mayor all said wear masks for everyones safety. I noticed that almost everyone working at stop & shop this morning were wearing masks. Why was the girl who was working the self-check area during senior hours allowed not to wear a mask?

In my opinion the Stop and Shop on Boston Rd is the best in the Springfield area. It is not the closest to my house......but I do drive the extra miles because of the staff there. Everyone that I have encountered at that location is friendly and always visible!! Customer service is beyond good!!! For me thats important!! My experience...the shelves are always well stocked! Sale items are in stock!! People! Drive the extra miles! You will not be disappointed!!!!

Stop and shop is my go to place. I can find all that i need for my hubby and the kids. I always get a sale and they have a great choice of vegan/vegetarian items. If you cant find what you are seeking talk with the manager there, he is friendly and will place orders to restock asap. We went for non dairy bryers ice cream and they ordered more and by the end of the week or less it was available

It is a super market. Went to pick up something quick. Had enough people at registers. Something most places seem to forget that just because you have self check outs doesnt mean you dont need people too.

Love this store. Get what I need and even what I dont need. Great points for gas price reduction. Saved 10 cents on the gallon.

I stopped, I shopped. Pretty accurate, I know. But really, its not a bad stop and shop. Several self check registers, and regular ones seemed to be out of service, and they seem to be every time I go their. Other than that, the store is pretty clean, the staff is great and everything is displayed well.

This store is my go to for groceries and more. The shelves are always stocked, so its extremely rare if theyre out of something youre looking for. They usually have markdowns in the health and beauty section, so I can try beauty items that are somewhat out of my budget. The staff is friendly. I totally reccomend this store.

Bought food, ate it, was good

I went to stop&shop this morning 3/19/2020 for the 60 and over to shop and i was very disapointed bc the store wasnt stock no paper goods or meats basically there was really nothing and shock for the senior citizens that came in to shop. I really APPREICATE the store is open so early for the seniors but it should have been stock knowing this day was coming when the truck came to delivery items should have put a side for this day for us it should been STOCK

Well. Im glad the strike is over. Stop and Shop, hands down, my favorite place to food shop. Out of respect for the union workers. I did not cross the picket line, and Im loyal to them most of all. They are the people that keep my shopping experience pleasant everytime I walk into the store. The only reason I gave it a 4☆ is because, the store didnt have much food. Due only to the strike, and having to restock. Just remember all you executives enjoying your nice lucrative jobs, reclining in your nice comfy chairs in those plush offices. The only reason you are sitting their is because of those people who continue to stock shelves, bag groceries and slice deli meat etc. etc. etc. So, stop trying to screw us over!!!!!

Great Customer satisfaction.

The self service check out is nice feature, but why do they treat customers as if we are hearing impaired? Entirely way too loud and I am sure the rest of the store doesnt need to know my order, how much it cost, and potentially how much money I have on my body. A booming self service is the last impression of the store before I left, and I was a little upset at the dramatically loud self service check out system.

Always a nice place to shop, but confused with whats going on with health concerns, putting arrows on the floor and most of the people just ignore them. Why have them then?

The Springfield store is pretty decent. Alot of times they have good sales on their meats. And you can find a bargain on their markdown produce. My only problem was the lines were way too Long for me personally.

Stop and shop now has a variety of gluten free cakes . They have brownies, cookies and cup cakes. . They are located by the bakery shop. I bought the brownies and I must say absolutely delicious. .

Overall a great store for shopping, this particular experience wasnt as great though. I bought a half gallon of friendly ice cream and it was in the wrong place. I forgot to use my stop and shop card so I went to the service desk to get the couple extra dollars back I thought I was going to save. The woman who came to help me wasnt as friendly as I expected, based on my past stop and shop experiences.
