Great place to go and know your going to be treated fairly and the work will be done right the first time. They have fixed everything from generators to weed eaters and lawn mower to riders for me and I have yet to have anything but a quality experience. Turn around time can be a while but what can you expect when they are that busy and you wait until spring to take it to them? A + all the way.
Friendly service for my lawnmower tuneup, close to home. Be aware that at times the shop can be super busy and it may take a while (several weeks) to get the work done. Its worth the wait, though.
So far so good. Needed an upgrade to my cheap chainsaw and decided it was time to invest in better equipment. I was also interested in actually talking with someone who knows what they are selling(as opposed to box store).Stopped in and talked with Gaylord. Told him what I was looking for and had a bunch of questions about maintenance, life expectancy, etc. I think once he realized I wasn’t some “City Slicker” looking for free info to then buy on Amazon, he was super helpful. I also know that if I ever have a problem, he’ll give me good advice. As someone who takes care of their cars, house, etc, I’m looking forward to making this last a long time. And I actually got it cheaper than the local B.B. store in town.
They sold me the wrong size fuel tubing for my Husqvarna weed eater. Dont waste your time or money with their incompetence go to Mr. Chainsaw where the staff is knowledgeable and gives you the right parts the first time.
We have been bringing our chainsaw needs here for a while, & seemed satisfied. Then we brought a very large, very expensive piece of equipment to be serviced... I had an inclining of what work/parts were needed & I asked for a sharpening of the equipment as well. I had a budget limit, DONT GO OVER THE BUDGET WITHOUT A PHONE CALL. Not only did the budget get blown $259 for a carburetor, fuel filter & air filter, but the item was clearly not sharpened, not even opened to look. I called, explained my situation that the machine was not sharpened, I was told he must have forgotten that (read the work order!), bring it back in. No mention of cost was brought up, I expected a mistake to be remedied. I was charged another $35! We were told they were not about to work for FREE. How about the fuel I had to use to get the piece of equipment there TWICE, the time I lost being able to use the machine, etc.? I get that business need to make money to stay open, I think businesses need to take a step back, and realize people are going to be less inclined to part with their money if you treat us like we are not CHOOSING to bring our business to you, that we are dumb, unable to see when something is not of value, or just work harder to take more of my money while giving me less service. NEXT TIME, I WILL MAKE A BETTER CHOICE.
A great place to buy a new machine or get your old one fixed!
Good people....
