I’m assuming it was the manager, was very rude and not understand towards my mother when she was trying to help my brother return/get money for books. She was patronizing and disrespectful with her tone and I did not appreciate the way she spoke to my mother when we were trying to figure something confusing out. All other employees were respectful.
I have had no complaints in the 3 years I have done business with this store. The customer service has always been fantastic. I usually shop around but came to trust this store since I can always get a better deal and have had good experiences.For instance, I forgot I had a deferred payment(past due), but I got a polite courtesy call and it wasnt a big deal. I was able to go in the next day to pay and I wasnt charged for any late fees or price of the book. I feel like they care more about you than making more sales or getting more money from your pocket, which is rare!
Ive used Campus Bookstore for about 3 years now. Brandon, the owner, is always helpful! If he doesnt have what I need, he makes sure to get it as soon as possible. Hes even had manufactures over-night materials for a last minute class Ive added. Their prices are simply a bonus to the great customer service!

Will never use again. Came in to buy textbooks. They only sold me 6 out of the 7 I needed didnt realize till after I had left. And I walked out of the store with only 3 of those 6. They had to order the rest which would take 3-5 business days. I needed those books for assignments that week. One of the textbooks they sold me was the wrong version. So in all I needed to return one of the books and had to go find that and one other somewhere else. When I brought the textbook back the next day they told me that I couldnt return it because that day had passed. They could buy it back though. I paid $60 for it and they offered me $10. Overall just crappy service.
Wish someone would have told me about this place before I got my books from barnes and noble. Its soooo much cheaper to get books here! And theyve got some awesome shirts and cowbells too. Much love for this place. Will be coming back next semester!
This is not really a book store, but an excuse to sell cheap MSU items (gaudy tee shirts, kitch bulldog stuff, etc.) at a high price. They make only minimal effort to supply the community with quality reading material, and I dont think the staff care one bit about finding out what is the latest academic and non-academic material. It only detracts from local business which might otherwise provide a good literary service.
I ordered books online, found out half of 7 books are not available in stock. I asked for a refund and got it after a couple of days.
Good customer service. However, they dont give you the most back for buybacks.
Over priced like crazy.....check other places before you even think about coming here
