I’ve never been to a Shipley’s before. But, after being sick for 3 days a good donut and coffee does the charm.! This is the place for it.! Amazingggggg donuts and super affordable.! They also had southern pecan coffee.. yum!!! And the lady here is so very amazing and sweet.! Just like the donuts.!!! A must must place.!!!!! I wish they had croissants too.Ohh I got the plain donut and chocolate cream filled.! Super delicious.!

Mornings in Starkville .... get up, take the 3 minute drive to Shipleys, grab donuts and coffee. Snag a Starkville Daily News off the shelf and catch up on the latest Bulldog news while enjoying hot, amazing donuts. Then do it again tomorrow. :)

Could use a fresh coat of paint on the inside to brighten things up but I brought my neighbor here for half priced donuts after 5:00p.m. and she was thrilled!

Stopped by this morning. Service was great. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Shipleys do-nuts are the best . The glaze is not over the top too sweet. The dough has a better taste than that place with the sign. The price is reasonable. The location is great. Shopping near by.

Slow as molasses, didn’t tell me the total until after I was charged so I couldn’t object. $9.74 for 3 kolaches.

The most amazing front casher lady greater me as soon as I walked in and helped me answer all my questions. She had me laughing and enjoying every second of my visit. The kids ate EVERY bite of their donuts no complaints or bribes needed.

Love the donuts. The fun part is going there after 5 pm, when you can get donuts in half price !!

Employees were friendly & was waited on promptly. Coffee was good as usual. Had sausage kolaches & donut holes. Kolaches were a little doughy & the donut holes tasted like they were cooked in old oil.

I would love to try some Shipley donuts but I’m told over the phone that they are out 30 minutes after opening. The employee who was answering the phone was indirect and unclear. How can a donut shop always be out of donuts? I’m just disappointed, I don’t always have the time to go to crispy cream in Columbus. But maybe this is Gods way of telling me that Shipleys is not worth it.

If you have never had a Shipley Do-Nut, then you are missing out. Ive always been a fan of their donuts. The blueberry cake is by far my favorite! The staff here are very friendly and courteous. Get there early, because they sell out of the good stuff quick! Of course they are pretty much making glazed constantly, its the other donuts that sell out.

My grands love donuts with sprinkles! I like Apple Fritters but prefer the flatter ones with apples throughout like they used to have.

This little donut shop has great food and a wonderful bunch of people working there. Seating is limited, but it seems like most folks are getting stuff to take with them. We thought thered be some donuts left out of the half dozen we bought, but my son fixed that up in no time! Theres currently some construction going on next door, which made finding it slightly tricky, but it was worth turning around for.

I love Shipley--perhaps its a bit of nostalgia (having been our go-to shop where I grew up near Little Rock, AR), but I enjoy not only the donuts and kolaches, but the old school feel of the place. My only complete would be that you have to get there pretty early if you want the kolaches--perhaps they could prepare more?

The dounuts are great but they are always out of pretty much everything but original after lunch. So got to go early. Also some of the employees have been alittle not friendly. Also there times on door and online says they are open Sunday 5:30 to2:00pm. I drove 25 mins got here at 1:25 and they are closed. Very disappointed I wasted so much time and gas to go somewhere that lies about their hours.

Shipleys of Starkville, Mississippi is a very cozy place. Their wifi bandwidth is great! Their French Cinnamon Nut Cream coffee is to super amazing...

Their hours say 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM, yet I have come to this location 3 times, several hours before theyre even closing to coming (the first time I came at 12, the second time I came at 2, and the third time I came at 4), and they were empty EVERY SINGLE TIME.I will NOT be giving my money to this business, how do they expect to get customers when they dont even abide by their own business hours?

Every time I go the staff are some of the rudest people I have ever met. My grandmother informed me that this morning she went to the drive through window and sat there for a while because no one would ever come to the window to wait on her. Even after she sat there ringing the bell. She drove off and went elsewhere.

Their store sign and website says open till 6pm on saturdays but when I went at 4:41 on a saturday they were not open. Wish someone could explain this.

So at 11 in the day I walk in the shop and ask for 7 glazed donuts. First thing they tell me we dont have anymore donuts. A donut store? Really? Are you making anymore ? No one was making any or nothing! Just sitting around doing nothing!!! Very disappointed!

Had to check them out staying in a hotel near them and the smell in the morning of freshly cooked donuts is all in the air and it just calls you to the amazing donuts that awaited inside...🍩😍😙🍩
