Great place to play magic / board games / D&D. Staff are very friendly and helpful!

Down To Game is an amazing place for gamers of all kinds to come together and play! From their Magic The Gathering draft nights to their huge selection of board games and D&D materials in the back room, youre sure to find something fun to do. Plus the proximity to campus is great for MSU students!

The staff are very welcoming, and the atmosphere seems friendly. I consistently see people playing magic in the store, so i think its somewhat popular in the area.

Great place if youre into board games, collectable card games, or roleplaying games. They also have Smash Brothers LAN parties sometimes.

This store has been the best way so far for me to get consistent information about TCG pre-orders without trying to snipe things at midnight. Great selection and facility, and an awesome place to have for a very rural area.

Good place to hangout and look at pokemon cards. You can rent board games for 5 dollars too.

Smaller store, focuses on magic but they have a very large selection of board games and they are starting to get into Team Yankee which is great, the whole reason I go there.

I was visiting Columbus from out of town and drove to Starkville to check out this store to see if they had any good tabletop games. The selection of tabletop games for purchase here was so so and their was a heavy emphasis on collectible card games and miniatures. So if you are into CCG and miniatures then youd probably love this place. The prices on the tabletop games were also very expensive compared to my local game store. They had an excellent library of tabletop games that you could utilize for in store play and that was great to see. I walked in and out without any of the employees acknowledging me so that was a bit disappointing.

Video game club every Wednesday at five with a great atmosphere come hang and game!

Great store great selection and for the most part an amazing (also strangely good at guessing anonymous people from the internet) staff.Jeff, the owner, in particular is awesome. Be sure if you visit to ask for him specifically. The store is steadily improving on all fronts and is great to go to. If you are in Starkville and you enjoy MTG or board games it would be a waste for you not to come visit.

A great place for table top, board, and/or card games. The staff is very friendly and all ages are welcome to shop or hang out. They also have video game nights every Wed.

Hands down, the best place to buy, trade, & sell MTG cards, as well as MTG tournaments in all formats throughout the entire week.

The shop has a good selection of product considering the small town its located in. The employees are helpful and the atmosphere feels accepting of you no matter how geeky you are.

The best place in 100 miles for gaming stuff. Magic, Dungeons and Dragons, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, X-WING, board games, miniatures, and other games. Friendly staff and great prices. FNM is my favorite event.

I’ve ordered an expansion for a board game through Down to Game and told me that they’ll call once they get the item. 3 months later, I go back and they told me “we’re having a problem with the supplier, we’ll call you when they give me a solution.” Another 4 months later, still nothing. In this past 7 months, I haven’t gotten any call regarding to my order or any update. Do yourself a favor and spend extra $20 and buy from Amazon if merchandise is not in store. I’m getting my money back.Another note: just called the store to see what’s up, the owner told me that the supplier doesn’t have the game that I’ve ordered. Keep in mind it’s been 4 months since I’ve checked in with the shop. Funny thing is that the owner asked for what I ordered, as if they don’t keep any record (I paid beforehand, mind you).

Great atmosphere, great staff, great location, and this place is what this college town has deeply needed for awhile.
