Good deals

There is never a long wait (like Walmart). Im usually in and out. They always have multiple lanes open for the customer convenience. Also, I like that you can simply get in ANY line to retrieve your store pick up item. It even gets better then that Kmart has a reward program and as you spend or dont spend you get all kind of surprise points thats equivalent to cash dollars. LOVE IT!

Was told a few days ago they price matched and when I got here they said they dont price match anything. I left those items behind. On to the other place now for the same exact product for 2/3 the price.

Went on to find stuff for my up coming vacation. Found the most perfect bag to use. Ended up putting $150.00 on layawayThanks

Only 2 registers open. 1 didnt work. They opened a 3rd but did not take the next customer in line. So, people who were not already in line were able to jump into the line of the newly opened register in front of people who had already been waiting.

Always a town favorite Im not sure what I would do if this Kmart closed down. I got to it for almost everything, pants, socks, knock around shoes. The staff is friendly and the place is pretty clean and always changing stock the way it should.

Its a store where most of the employees have attitudes. Never have I once seen them smile or offer any help to me for the six years I have been shopping there. I go there for my cats food and litter. Now today I found out they have switched Friskees cat food for some generic brand. Now thank goodness I dont have to deal with rude people in Kmart anymore.

It is what it is. If you need something quick you can usually get it here. But often the lines are horribly slow or just unfriendly staff.

The service stunk, to put it politely. Watched the cashier take 10 minutes to finish one transaction, and the manager saw all this and did nothing until some one verbally began to complain. Then the manager started taking customers at the service desk. Still took me 20 minutes to get out of there after I found what I wanted. So yeah, one star and no more.

Most employees are nice and helpful. Some, not so much. Their items are more expensive than Walmart. Unfortunately Walmart is further away and Id spend more there because they sell more things I want & need.

I am a faithful customer and I had a really bad experience with the manager and one of his employees I will never shop there again. They lost a $100 from me today I told them to put everything back the manager treated me really poor his name is Unter I will be talking the a step higher I am talking about the on stager IL

Needed assistant in furniture 2 different associates requested and no one came so I left the store HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!

Very nice lady by the name of Mary (cashier) was absolutely wonderful and very Patient! I must say she really went out her way to make sure my needs were met. Also Ri-Ri was also excellent in helping in the shoe department, when I couldnt find my size she insisted on going in the stock room to look for my size. I thank you because customer service was at its best with these two women.... I hope this will shine a light on Jimi (service associate) when asked for help with a particular item his answer was I dont know ....... Not a good answer, then he told me who to go look for to ask..... (need I say more) .

This place needs some tlc and some better lighting. It would be nice for the parking lot to be redone and maybe kmart to price match to stay in competition.

Remodeled store making it a bit more pleasant to shop in.

This is the most racist Kmart I have ever been too! I used to work here. They fired me because a Caucasian lady lied and said I was rude to her. When all I said was, I put your receipt in the bag. Years later I tried to apply to another Kmart. Only to find out, that I was banned from working at Kmart and Sears for life...

Always friendly staff, the prices are a little high but you can find some sales.

Always have items that are listed for sale but freely offer rainchecks when they are out.

A good price on item and in a well plaza to get.

Merchandise seems to be old. almost all of the electronics, and appliences perchased here dont last more than 1 year. Alot of miss priced items and very pricy compared to walmart or meyers.

Give it zero stars if I could. I was racially profiled and Im white. Was told by a black cashier his line was closed. Went to another line while I watched black customers continue through his line. Kmart have a sale BOGO didnt get the sale they said when the cashier rung up both items the sweater was BOGO but the pant she said were not but the sale sign were over the pants rack and can mix or match appeals, talk with the manager he said the same Kmart in Chicago Heights, IL on Chicago Rd

Nice Kmart & its nearby which is a good convenience!

Sometimes it takes FOREVER to checkout. They just received an upgrade of their point of sale devices, but the registers are still old. I have to be in a very patient mood to go in here.

Terrible!If you are dumb enough to go this store DO NOT try to pay with a BMO Harris ATM card. They will tell you that the transaction did not go through, but the funds will be taken from your bank account.And the manager....Oy.

I wanted to give them my business, to do my part to support businesses in Steger, but my friends, family and I have had enough of their exceptionally rude employees. Well be going elsewhere.

Their selection of toys are actually few and so is most of their products and their prices are high.

They lost something I had put on layway. How do you lose an item. Half of the employees are just standing around not doing anything. If I could give negative stars I would.
