10/10 recommend. They are not only quick and efficient, they are also very understanding and beyond helpful in meeting all our needs (a term i dont use loosely.) From the service desk to the mechanics. Over the last 3 years I have been in Great Western pretty much weekly if not daily for Car service and tire service due to the job my S.O works. Ive gotten to know half the staff on a name by name basis and am beyond grateful for everything they have done to accommodate us and know they value us as customers. So, I know they will accommodate and value your needs and time as much as they have ours.

Excellent service, great staff and very helpful! They do great work and have good pricing. The office side is always nice and clean. I needed an assignment and was even offered a ride home and was picked up to get my car when it was finished. Great place, definitely recommended!

I am from out of town and was traveling back from Nebraska when my rear tire was shredded by metal in the road. We limped to town and called these folks and they said bring it by. Now they did not have a tire that would fit but they put my spare on and took the old tire off the rim so that I could just take the rim with me. They were awesome and got it all done in and hour and a half and charged a very reasonable rate. They could have charged whatever they wanted because I was stuck, just shows what kind of business they are. Very honest, very polite and very willing to help. Totally appreciate you guys, you ROCK!

I walked in to get a flat tire fixed and they had me done within 20 min and under 20 bucks. The waiting area was nice and clean and the service was very friendly.

The people go out if their way to help. They listen to what we need, and do the work asap.

This is the only place Ive had to wait 6hrs, when I had a 10am appointment for a front end alignment

Loved this place! Fair prices and quick work! Have to make an appointment but that’s no issue. They always are able to schedule me for the next day. I’ve gotten my work done there twice, once for my timing belt and the following time for my 4 new tires and alignment. Guys are super helpful and knowledgeable will be taking my little ole car back there again!

Other than covid delivery issues with parts shop was very nice, fast, and reasonable rates!

I was towed into town after my car dying on the side of 76 around 10:30am. The tow truck driver had recommended Best West as the place to go for a quick day turn around service. We placed a call to Best West to confirm they could get my alternator replaced that same day (it was a known problem at the time). They got us in the same day, did a quick check to determine it was in fact the alternator and quoted the work. A reasonable quote was given and estimated time of completion was given. They came in on budget and earlier than expected. The facility was clean and comfortable for the wait with food options across the street. The gentleman who worked with me was very pleasant and strait forward. I felt the service was honest and prompt. I am very thankful for the service and reccommend them for those from out of town looking for a service shop in Sterling.

If we could give them more starts we would! What an amazing group of people! We’re from Denver CO and for over 20 years we’ve been traveling to Lewellen Nebraska where our family has a lake house. We ran into some serious trouble in May 2020 when our rear axel blewon our 4Runner 35 miles outside of Sterling. We called a tow truck company who recommended two shops. We called Great Western and were immediately put at ease with kind voices of reassurance that it will all be ok. They told us just bring the car here and we will go from there. Jackie and Bryan were beyond amazing. They were so kind and generous to our whole family. They gave the kids snacks and even our dog got some treat while they allowed Us to comfortably sit in their lobby and wait for our ride. We picked the car up and had a very minor issue when we got back to Denver with the car. (Nothing mechanical or that compromised safety) Instead of me driving the two hours back to Sterling to have it fixed they had me take it to a mechanic here in Denver and paid for the really minor bill that came with it. We will ALWAYS recommend Great Western to anyone looking for a great mechanic shop out that way! Great service, great people, amazing experience! Thank again!

Fair price and quick service

Usually great. Playing an inappropriate movie in the lobby with a lot of nudity and language. Probably wouldnt have cared as much if I didnt have my 6 year old daughter with me. Then got halfway home before realizing one of the tires I just had repaired was already losing air. They fixed it right up and Im not complaining about the customer service, more the movie in the waiting area. Not a great experience this time.

Yesterday my brake and tire system failed (sorry Im not vehicle knowledgeable). Best West Tire & Service got me in right when they opened. They were knowledgeable and understanding just as well the got me out the door in a speedy manner everything is running fine. Out to make money from unnecessary repairs.

I called ahead and inquired about a specific tire and they confirmed they had it. An hour later I was in store to purchase. I again asked for the specific tire and they again confirmed they had it. They had the single tire change done in 45 minutes, but they put the wrong tire on! It was a direct replacement but not what I asked for. Rather than offering any apology or realistic solution they told me I could buy three more tires to match or they could take the tire off, put my spare on, and order me the right tire that they said they had (twice) and get it in a couple weeks. So now Im over an hour into a single tire change and I have to buy the wrong tire or wait another hour and get nothing. So frustrating! Best West Tire will do whats Best for them and not their customers. I will never go back and recommend you stay away.

Called in advanced to check and see if they had the tires we needed.. they said they had 5 in stock. Took our car in and they then told us they didn’t have them. Horrible service! Especially when you drive two hours to get the tires cause they said they had them in stock!!

Going to a wedding in Longmont Co., I unfortunately blew my radiator near Sterling Co. the day after July 4th. Being 875 miles from home, this was extremely unnerving!! AAA hauled me to Great Western Tire. These people could not have been nicer and more helpful. Before I finished giving my information to Jackie, they had my car inside and, after dropping what they had been working on, were checking my damage. After 15-20 minutes they had determined the problem and told me what they had to do. The fact that it was a Friday PM and they had to order parts, etc., I assumed I was going to spend a couple of nights in beautiful Sterling CO. The service tech, Dennis, got on the phone and quickly came back and told me they could have the parts Saturday AM and would finish it up then. I still have the wedding issue to deal with so again I figured I had to stay until Monday to get the car. Jackie then told me that someone would come in on Sunday so I could get the car. These people could not have been more accommodating. These are special people and the world needs more of them!! I urge you to take you automotive issues to them. If they treat a complete stranger like this, imagine how they will treat their repeat customers. You will not be disappointed!!P.S. they need more stars!!

Great place to buy tires!! Today Im getting an oil change (come here every 3,000 miles) and tires rotated (free service every 6,000miles when u purchase them here). The waiting area has been redecorated!! I miss the old coaches... Employees are always friendly and helpful.

I am very very dependent on my vehicle & live out of state. When an low oil pressure issue happened during my trip, I had no idea what to do or who to go to. I called a company who advised me they were closed. Who then referred me to another company. That company could not get the code reader to read & they referred me to West Best Tire.When I arrived, it was stricking noon on a Saturday. This company fit me into their hectic-weekend schedule to check it out.I believe the guy was right, when he informed me, that, I could be loosing my dash. Because when they changed my Oil Pressure Switch, I still lost the gauge reading but the message system wasnt flashing as I went down the road.It only took them one hour & I was back on the road. I cant express in words, how grateful I am, how this company showed such consideration to me, on a very important day. They certainly went above & beyond any expectation, I could have ever imagined.Again, Thank You Very Much. Your integrity doesnt go unnoticed to me & for this; You just may see me arriving there to get my oil changed. Will I have to make an appointment? Perhaps, I may have to bring all of them in for a tune up & full service. I found someone who I can finally trust with my vehicle. ✞

Great experience. Had some road debris damage my muffler on a road trip. They were able to get me in for the first appointment of the morning, and was surprised at how low the cost was. Did a great job fixing what I needed.

This tire shop is very fast. I was in about a month ago had 6 tires put on my trailer the guy took maybe an hour. People were very friendly and just a great atmosphere in general.

The customer service was amazing, my fuel pump went out on my drive cross country. The tow man suggested them being it was 1 am they were closed and I saw 4 cars in the bay ahead of me. I knew it may take a while so they open @ 730 am they had me in by a little afternoon and out by 5 to replace a fuel pump on an older econoline cargo van,not bad. The staff were courteous and personable which made the wait ok I would definitely recommend them.

Walked in got a a oil change, they got me in very quickly. 10 minutes into it, the mechanic comes out with my air filter and asks, would you like me to change this? I told him no, I do it myself. As he was walking away I hear him say f**k you under his breath few minutes later I hear him and another guy working the front counter, talking about me. Wont be coming back...

On a long drive from Denver to Chicago about two months ago, the fuel pump on my Tahoe gave out. We were stuck near the highway, called these guys and (since we didnt know it was the fuel pump at the time) Eddie walked us through several trouble shooting/diagnostics steps over the phone. After confirming that it was the pump, they found a replacement in town and fixed it for us. Not an easy or quick job as the pump is in the fuel tank on that truck. While they were fixing it, they were great about answering our many questions and making sure we were satisfied that the pump was actually bad. But they got us fixed up and back on the road. We felt pretty lucky that we broke down near them.

Fast and friendly service. Was there twice within a week. First time they replaced a tire valve sensor and the second time they found a screw in a different tire.

Called and asked if they could come get the flat tire off my vehicle and replace it with a new one. I was told, Wr cant do that today. I called back and asked if I got the tire there if they could put a new one on. I was then told by the same woman, We cant even do that today. What kind of tire shop says that? Horrible customer service!!!
