This is a great place to find gently used hard cover or paperback books. Books arranged by authors in categories. Nice people and definitely affordable. If you like to read, you will like this store.

I walked up and they had a bunch of dollar books outside and inside I bought some good books.

The staff are very friendly and bubbly :) The books are reasonably priced. I purchased five books for little under $10, which sounds like a bomb deal to me haha. They offer a wide selection of young adult novels, childrens books, informative books, vinyls, DVDs, classic novels etc. However, you may find their graphic novels, manga, educational books and materials, and photography selections limited, but it is understandable because those are hard to come across in general sense, and even more so at a used book store.

If you havent been there you are missing out. They offer more than just books. Record albums, CDs, cassettes, jigsaw puzzles a cornucopia of interesting stuff CHEAP! You can also donate any of the above items. The only drawback is their limited hours. But once you figure that out its worth the time

I have shopped at this store for quite a while now and this bookstore never disappoints. They do have a section of newer books closer to the front and those books tend to be a bit on the pricier side for used books. I found a recent mystery for $9 which is a bit much but I usually look through all the other sections. Ive found great conditioned hard backs for 2-3 dollars. The staff is always incredibly courteous and will help whenever possible. There selection is decent and I enjoy coming back to see what new books they have on their shelves. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for their next read.

Its a fairly well organized used book store that supports a good cause. However it is staffed by volunteers and so some are more helpful than others. Some are just rude. Good prices, decent selection and variety.

What a great service for a big family like mine. We use it a lot for books of course, magazines, videos and they even have vinyl there as well. Todays visit netted nearly 20 books from Steinbeck, to Michener, to childrens and young adults books as well as 5 videos all for $37.00. We also take our old books, magazines and videos in exchange for credit. Truly a wonderful program for recyclers and planet conscious folks. We are blessed to have them in our neighborhood.

Love this store. I have found many treasures for low prices. One complaint. The man with the long beard who works there is rude to the volunteer ladies. I cringe when I see him. He needs an attitude adjustment

I think this is one of my favorite places in Stockton. I have found so many treasures here, and the prices are more than reasonable. The people are so friendly and very helpful. I think they are volunteers. Stockton is lucky to have Friends of the Stockton Library.

Large selection and nice people to help. Some of the prices are close to the NEW price which is not expected in donated items. They do have some unusual items so you might want to visit and check it out

We stopped on a whim and found a hidden gem. After searching countless thrift stores again and again, we were able to find our favorite authors series, minus one book, and didnt have to break the bank.

Well organized with friendly and knowledgeable staff. And great prices!! Plus it supports library programs. Really can’t ask for more 😊❣️

Its a dingy, but cute little bookstore. All profits and donations are ro help build and buy books for the stockton Libraries so thats awesome. Ive donated a few books there, and even had fun buying some old art books. They were cool! Its like the beauty of thrift store finds, but solely for books! Loved it.

The volunteers are always friendly and helpful. A great place to donate books and find books at an awesome price. Most childrens books are about a dollar. They also sell dvds, video games, audio books, magazines, puzzles, and greeting cards. Only cash or checks are accepted.
