I have lived around this neighborhood for more than 10 years, I have been shopping at this Dollar General location ever since it opened a few years ago and today was the first time I have ever experienced something so negative by one of the manager named Ron or Ronnie. This manager was rude and unprofessional, he started accusing customers of cutting in line when we did not know that there was a line. He started to yell out loud that people were trying to cut in line when we were not even informed there was a line so instead of telling us nicely, he makes a big announcement to embarrass us that we are cutting in line when we weren’t. His unprofessionalism has caused my experience to be an unsatisfied one when I have been shopping here long before he was even a manager or whatever he is. Double thumbs down for Ron or Ronnie whatever his name is.

Ive always loved Dollar General. Love their prices for the most part good selection. Wish they had one in Elk Grove or Sacramento. Friendly servibe

The dollar general on Charter Way is one of my favorite stores. The staff are so pleasant and efficient I look forward to shopping there, the savings speak for themselves.

The only problem with the dollar general is no 3 in a line rule, I hate watching 6 people stock shelves and only 1register open. But I still love em.

The parking lot and walking up to the store always smells bad. They need to get rid of the homeless sitting i n front of the store asking for money. I will give food not $$ to them. Which I have done several times.

Not bad at all! They have a lot off stuff. I just went too get something too drink because it was close by and I was by auto zone and decided to go there. Only thing is there is a lot off people....and you wait a while on line and people are trying too make me buy stuff from them outside when Im entering and trying too go in quickly!

Its okay, I noticed that they actually do have bargains now. But the store needs to work on its appearance. Its kind of dingy inside and doesnt appear clean. It may very well be clean, but it doesnt give you the feeling that it is...

Bad area. Dont forget to lock your car. Nice employees though. Not the stores fault.

I dont know who runs is Dollar General on the corner of Wilson in Main Street but they need to get some lightning out here at night in b-more let it get too dark around there panda the little bit more organized and clean having you guys are doing a good job has been through a lot of changes managers but the Wonder theyre keep sticking to it and you guys are bringing it all back

THE SHELVES ARE NEVER EMPTY AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP.... BUT THEIR CLOTHING AREA IS JUST RIDICULOUS..!!!!

They really need to stock their freezers with product. They never have anything in them when I go there.

Even though its a chain store its still our local grocery store the staff knows our names and they cater to our little whims we appreciate you guys thanks

Horrible store! Customer service is the absolute worst! The store is completely dirty, being that covid spread and infection is high in our county the cdc would have a field day with this location! They would be shut down completely, so many violations at the location it would make your head spin!

Always busy but employees are always friendly. Would like to see more help out to the car when I have a full basket and heavy water. Right now there are lots of quality toys and other gift items to choose from. Kathy Ramirez

The new shopping cart quarter deposit.I dont carry any cash on me to shop which makes me Leary to shop there again .A lot of your shelf tags r left a week after the sale ended? Makes no sense to me that I cant send my minor granddaughter in to buy cough medicine but she can buy pills that r 4 nite time sleep aid, ??? Everyday its harder to shop there and food 4 less meats or beats your pricing?? And its open 24 hours?

Fairly clean, lots of products, and friendly employees. However, vagrants too often lingering at the front of the store or in parking lot.

Dollar General was just ok because it had long lines for a minute or so then there is always someone thereto open a register. So I was out in a quick min. They also have have some low prices when you dont want to got to the big store.

Affordable price on lotta stuff I eat

I like this Store because its close to my house and I can find what I need most of the time. It has great prices, and a wide variety of different types of things like home decor and holiday items, gift items for all occasions footwear, casual attire, and it even has phone accessories. You can even get alcohol and liquor here at reasonable prices. Its more than a grocery store.

Dollar General, happens 2 be close 2 me & my familys residence, therefore there location is great because of the convenience 2 just be able 2 get a few items & return home quickly. 👍 but sometimes that convenience can also mean customer traffic crowd 😕 so it is better 4 me 2 shop early in the morning, or 2 shop later in the evening 😉 i like Dollar General & will continue shopping there....

Its small enough to get your items quick, yet also big enough to spend a good while looking through each aisle and get almost everything you see at walmart too. Good store...

You can find just about anything in this store from household goods to automotive like oil. Prices are great except for meat,overpriced. But let me tell you this if your looking for medication from headaches to allergies or kids being sick before you hit your local pharmacy go here first prices are amazing far below ANY pharmacy pricing!

Its good when you need to run in and get something quick. Sometimes the lines are long but its worth the wait. Prices are cheap too.

I do not recommend going to this store there are not like the other dollar general locations threw out Stockton the employee there are extremely disrespectful not just too there customers bust other employees as well I was there about few days ago as a proud loyal customer and witness myself two employees in an argument me trying to mind my own but could not help but to hear in on there conversation and what it sounded like to me that they were waiting too clock out of there shifts to beat a girl up together that they actual were working with I know there was at least a handful of customers that were listening as well a few customers were even looking at each other whispering to eachone another about the situation it crazy to me cause that day I only seen 3 workers there the whole time 2 African ladies and one Hispanic lady the Hispanic lady seem like she was going to be the victim and as I was getting to my point im 62 year old man and did not feel comfortable and safe shopping there not only for my safe well being but for what they do to customers on a day to day basis to there customers hmm very shady and poor employment!!!!!!

The staff gave good customer service. I was able to find what I needed to purchase. As far as the prices, a bit too high for the area I was shopping at. Keep prices in check and youll find customers will keep coming to shop at this store.

The Cashier was rude and not at all helpful. She had to abort my whole purchase because she could not wait for 2 min. To get my available balance from my card. As she was aborting the sale I told her the balance and she just looked away and continued to ring up others never even looking back at me. I left her line and went to another line where I was taken care of.

Great clean place with helpful staff. Roomie shelfs, with a lot of different products. I would definitely go there again.

Tried to use several baskets for my little one. All were locked told key was lost. The manager apologized. I went to shop and minutes later she came with a basket for me. Great customer service. Cashiers nice too.

I dont really like the fact that this store charges a fee for grocery baskets many people do not carry cash or change but use only debit or credit cards.. so weather its because the home less or other are stealing The baskets or whatever the case is step up and fix that problem then taking it out on the customer trying to shop and cant because he/she doesnt have a quarter.

I really love going to this particular store that is on Charter Way in Stockton, this store is so clean we going there so often that everyone remembers us they treat us kindly are always have time to speak to us and I love everything in the store I would say nine times out of 10 they always have what I want in the store and sometimes I just like walking around in the store just looking it calms me and it feels good not to have someone following you because of your color even when they have security guards they always greet us and say bye when we leave

Dollar General is a joke, they paid their employees better wages they would have better employees with better attitudes. I only go in there if I have to.

Employees are helpfull but its always packed and hardly any place to park and if you have use the restrooms we hang it up cause they wont let you they sould be more ppl friendly

When I entered the store, I overheard a mother of two, who had appeared to have just arrived, complaining to cashier because her child was not able to use the restroom in the store. Also that same cashier, took an offense to myself and my husband because of a statement I made to my husband about dress socks, which was not my intention.

They have the adult diaper pull ups that are inexpensive and in stock that fit me when I run out in case of an emergency

It could use a good cleaning up inside and especially outside. I guess its ok for a little bargain shopping for those in the neighborhood.

This particular location had plenty of items that I needed and the cashiers were nice and friendly. The only problems that I noticed was that they needed more cash register open and their clearance items/ section need.to have clear price tags in them. I had to get to the register to find out the.prices and found that most of them were too expensive and had to put them back. Id only suggest the clearly mark their clearance items and department alot more clear.

The manager needs customer service skill. He is not friendly to. Customers or employees

This place is so damn dirty. No handicap chairs if they did have handicap chairs or scooters this place would not be able to be accessed by the scooter...the parking lot is completely dirty disgusting homeless people asking and begging for money everywhere.... Employees just dont seem very proud another workplace basically its just a job for them...when I go to visit unfortunately I have to go with my mom because she loves going there... Basically its only for the cheap stuff not for anything else

Closest place to grab something quick is the only reason I still go there. But I have decided its better to go to Walgreens. Dollar general store on river place is always destroyed. Its a complete wreck. The floors are always covered in merchandise. I have walked in a there and 3 or 4 people are waiting in line and there is nobody behind the counter. Looking around the store is no employees to be found. Finally one person will walk out of the back or from outside.

I always find what I needed at Dollar General.$6.99 for a bag of shrimp 51-60..thats hard to beat!!!

I like Dollar general its like a mini food for less. They have pretty much of whatvyour regular grocery store you shop at has.

A grubby little store. Perfect for a qwik pick up item. They have anything you may need frim a grocer and it wont break the bank.
