Had a positive first experience with this shop. Despite being incredibly busy the wait time was only about 10 minutes. The gentleman helping me was knowledgeable and informative regarding pricing and inventory.More competitive pricing compared to shops in DavisThe selection for the 10oz bars was slightly restricted, but happy to find any at all.Would recommend and will be visiting again soon.

Joel and his Staff are a go to shop when your dealing with Coins, precious metals and foreign currency. They take their time with you explaining and researching items you may be unfamiliar with. They offer a fair honest and competitive value. I am very thankful they were open during these tough times! I will definitely be back!

Me and the lady went to see if our coin was authentic spoke with a gentleman named Joel.Joel was very knowledgeable and courteous.He explained in detail about our coin and turns out to be fake. But with his knowledge we didnt second guess it he also gave us some informative resources.

I went there yesterday and sold three (3) items. One (1) gold coin made by US with a amount stating 15.00 got 10.00 another 1964 dime with DDR should be over 50 but gaven 6.00 other 1951 frankin half should have gotten at lease 11.00 got 6.00. Sad place. I told him I had a 1982 d brass 3.08 grams penny and showed him a picture. He said he sold that coin for a couple of dollars its a small date penny and should be worth thousands. This was a terrible place.

These guys are, top notch they are honest and the employees are pleasant to work with. Joel, has gone out of his way to work with me as I am in a wheelchair. If you are buying or selling, this is the Best place in the central valley.

On 12/30/14 I drove over an hour to this shop, for the first time, to pick up an assortment of coins. The entire staff was very friendly and the man who helped me with my purchase was very knowledgeable and professional. The prices were very fair and he didnt try to sell me anything I didnt want. The items that were not in stock were placed on order for pick up on my return trip. My son was even given a few free coins, covers and snacks while I was completing my purchase. I will definitely be returning to this shop and letting others know about the great service.

They would not exchange for any of my foreign coins. I was in the Navy and I have a bunch of foreign money laying around. Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, and Australia. They wouldnt take any of it. They changed out my paper money for a fee and acted like they were doing me a one-time favor for it, so I dont know why they can advertise they exchange.Oh and I came in on another date just for their expertise in identifying gold, and they refused to even look. I was willing to pay for the service but they had no interest in helping me.

Sold a chinese ten dollar manchunian note but the whole time looked down his nose at me,at one point told me you dont even know what you have,threw the money on the counter and walked away ....absolute truth,kinda takin back from it,bought the note though,but concluded businees like a hi priced call girl!,what a prick this was the owner too!,if you have what they want ...yeah they will suck up a little, but wouldnt piss on you if you were on fire, after!

Paranoid staff is vocally afraid of thieves. They attempted to be friendly but the whole experience was uncomfortable so I left. Coin selection was of okay to good quality.
