I went to stonham ma advance auto store today June 27 2022, Sunday for cooling.The clerk was very rude.He told me to by Freon for $45.00.At Autozone inStonham put Freon in my car for $6.99.And the clerkwas very friendly. I used to go Advance Auto evry time.I will never go to this store again
You might want to update your hours drive all the way there & paper sign on the door closed daily at 6pm when online says 9pm

Managed to have the part I needed and I was able to do the fix right there in the parking lot. Definitely appreciate having the option for multiple auto parts store near by so I could avoid having to wait until tomorrow to fix my car.
They told me that they had the tool that I needed and I verified again to make sure and they said yes again. I got there and guess what, you guessed it no tool.

Absolutely incompetent staff..... they close 1/2 hour before they’re suppose to, which I’m sure their manager wouldn’t appreciate. Locked me in while the store is in business hours and refused to help me.
Auto Parts Stores are like holiday dinners with your family. Good one visit. A nightmare another. Not bad but not good another. What does 1 expect from auto parts counter service? Grill 23 level service?? Not happening. Its more a test of your patience and granimity than anything. If u have to go, gird your Pope level kindness and be thankful u got what u needed without having to give a kidney to anyone.
I originally went into Autozone around the corner from this Advanced Auto to purchase for my Escalade a radiator, oil cooler lines, transmission lines, and all the fluids and other items needed to replace my radiator and all lines to it including flushing out antifreeze, oil, and transmission fluid. I ended up leaving AutoZone do to the fact EVERYONE AT THE STORE seemed like they could care less if they got my continued Business or not. It’s too long of a story but the main reason I left and will NEVER return to AutoZone Stoneham is how unwilling they where to help. I spend probably well over $20k at Autozone last year alone between my personal and business use parts. No more as I decided to pop into Advanced Auto and the staff at Advanced was AWESOME especially Mark P who assisted me with getting all the parts I needed I left Advanced Auto and decided I now will give them ALL my business. Thanks to a staff that literally does was there supposed to THERE JOB!!! Thanks Everyone at Advanced see you soon.

Very helpful staff. Limited parts in stock for old cars so I end up buying consumables here and most parts online from other places. A little pricey but very convenient.

As a wholesale customer, these guys are the absolute worse and unprofessional vendor my shop has had. They are so willing to shove products down your throat and when it comes to helping you out, good luck with their support service.DO NOT BUY any of their Autel or equipment, products, or services!!! My Autel MaxiSys ($2600) was sent an update that wiped out my whole scanner. Nothing wrong with the unit until the update, and these idiots want me to pay $800 for new software when I had nothing to do with it going bad. I spent countless hours on the phone, explained my story a million times, spoke with their corporate office a million times, and nothing was done to resolve it. The scanner has more mileage going between my shop and the Advance Stoneham store, than it has usage! Best part, was the arrogant approach taken by their District Manager, Billy Konaxis, who told me to sell my scanner for $500 and have someone buy the upgrade and have a new scanner for $1300. Really? So that leaves me out $2100, to which he ignorantly said, its better than nothing! My shop also went about 8 months without a single rep from Advance coming down. When it was time to sell me everything they could, couldnt get a days rest from their visits. Their Commercial Accounts manager, Barry, is a pro at not showing up and giving you excuses. And you better be ready to chase him down as he does a terrible job at returning or addressing your issues in a timely manner. Nearly nine months spent trying to resolve this issue only to be told Im out of warranty due to them dragging their feet.Advance is no longer getting my commercial business or store walk-ins. I suggest to any repair shops out there to do business instead with ICP, CAP, NAPPA, AutoZone, Auto Parts International, or others. These guys are great at customer service, show up on a weekly basis, and most important, value and put customer first in their business model. Anyone feel free to check my formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Advance Auto Parts and stop by my shop for my nightmare stories with Advance Commercial.
