The whole process of renting a unit at CubeSmart was easy. I did it online without any issues. When going in for the first time, Holly was kind and upbeat. She showed me to my unit and explained how everything worked. It was super easy to close my unit too. The unit worked without a problem and was clean.

CubeSmart Stoneham is simply the finest storage facility I have ever encountered. And Ive encountered quite a few. Holly and Christine are magic. They keep the facility pristine. They are all so wonderful, friendly people who go out of their way to be helpful to the clients. And not just for appearances. I came in to rent a space recently in an emergency 20 minutes before closing the day before Thanksgiving. Holly took care of everything for me instantly so I could begin moving in immediately. She managed to find me a space with the dimensions I needed, on the floor I wanted, and even in the section of the building I requested. This took some doing, but Holly made it happen. These ladies take customer service very seriously. I have never had a bad experience here in 3 years. The great experiences are too numerous to count.

I was only to rent my unit for a month and never even unloaded my belongings and I STILL DO NOT FEEL I wasted money. There knowledge and upbeat attitude made my experience a pleasant one. Both Holly and Christine have been wonderful!!! They have been very helpful and the keep the facility in ship shape. The units are very clean and you feel very safe inside the building. Access hours are also great, 6:00 am to 10:00 pm everyday. Big bonus, you get use of a small moving van!!

Its a very clean and well-run facility. When we wanted to downsize Holly and Christine played a large role in helping us. They were able to estimate how much space we could fit into, and, they made it possible for us to carry over the balance of the payment for the larger locker to apply to the smaller locker. They really couldnt be nicer or more helpful. They even offer bottles of water. The office has free coffee too.

The agent was very efficient, helpful, friendly and professional in helping us to change our storage locker from a large one to a much smaller one. She patiently and clearly explained the process. She helped us to determine the size that would be best for us by first looking at our current lockers contents to estimate our needs. She DID NOT try to up-sell a locker larger than we required.

Our daughter goes to Tufts and we needed space to store her things over the summer. Holly - the general manager - was terrific, having the paperwork ready to go upon our arrival and we breezed through that process. She thoroughly educated us on the facility, its security and codes, and we were gone in less than a half hour. The building is clean, new and climate controlled. And its all comes at a very fair price. Weve solved our storage needs for the time our daughter studies in Boston.

Rates start low, but go up very quickly. Entire building is climate controlled. Security code needed to enter the building and to access the elevator to your own floor. Staff has been helpful when assistance was needed.

The staff has been most friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and in very nice shape. Access and loading in is very smooth and easy and the access hours are reasonable. Night owls might prefer later than 10 pm for a stopping time, but that is a minor nit, all things considered.

The staff is friendly + knowledgeable. The space is very clean + the security system is excellent as you can only access the section where your unit is located. An added bonus is the fact that they sell supplies in the office and that clients can rent the truck at a very reasonable price.

This is a follow-up to my earlier review where I described an incident where an error by Cubesmart led to me incurring a substantial expense. Cubesmart replied with a message inviting me to get in touch with them. I did, twice, and they never responded. There are a lot of storage companies in the Boston area. I highly recommend that you choose one of the others.

The staff made signing up convenient and easy. Very helpful people. The facility was squeaky clean. The price was a little higher than some of the competitors, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The managers (Holly and Barbara) made my move so easy -- with short notice and after 30 years in the same place, I had tons to store and misjudged the space Id need -- they instantly accommodated me with a second unit, allowing me to complete my move as scheduled. The facility is clean, bright (just a couple years old), secure -- I feel my things are safe and so am I when Im there straightening things out. I do definitely recommend CubeSmart, and already have! A close friend has had her storage in a dusty, dark storage place which is just too creepy and unsafe, and shes having everything moved to CubeSmart ASAP.

Christine was wonderful. Call me back right away and helped me understand my option. She had prepared all the paperwork, gave a nice tour, and made sure I understood how all the locks and security systems worked.

We have had a fairly long relationship with CubeSmart and they have been helpful, not only with managing our space and now new space, but also with negotiating costs. Both the manager and assistant manager are tremendous. We are happy to still be there.

Cubesmart Stoneham is a great facility - its new, very clean and well kept, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The district manager Holly checked us in, she was great, and so was Christine, who was whom we interacted with every other time and checked me out at vacating. Even though we were just storing stuff there, Christine made it a very human experience. I would definitely recommend Cubesmart Stoneham to anyone in need of storage space in the area.

The sudden and tragic death of my brother left us saddened beyond belief and aware of this storage unit. A phone call to CubeSmart was answered by Holly her compassion and her help was reassuring and so greatly appreciated. She explained what we needed to do and was there step by step. She went above and beyond on the day we arrived to clean and close the unit, my sister and I are very greatful for your time and effort in making this sad task bearable. Thank you

All the staff there are excellent (and have angelic patience for some of the most obnoxious customers Ive ever had the pleasure of overhearing). They know everything about their business, are up front and transparent about process & costs, and are exceptionally helpful. The facilities are very clean, and there are always more than enough large hand carts available. A small box truck that drives like a van and fits down all the tiny Boston/Cambridge/Somerville roads is available for a very small fee, and is in excellent condition.I waited to write this review until I had finished my storage rental, just in case closing everything out had obstacles, but just as with everything else here, the staff were very straightforward and made it easy. No gimmicks here.I couldnt have been happier with my experience with CubeSmart. It absolutely exceeded my expectations.

The ladies we dealt with here at CubeSmart were wonderfully helpful and accommodating as we arrived from CO. We were getting in to town later than expected but we just called and told them and it was no problem.

My experience with Cubesmart was disappointing. They mistakenly locked me out of my storage unit the day I was due to move out. As a result I had to pay the movers while waiting to gain access to the building and was out of pocket by a substantial amount. I called Cubesmarts out of hours number to try and gain access to the building but only got a voicemail. Cubesmart has refused to take responsibility for their error. Prospective customers should also be aware, as other reviewers have pointed out here, that CubeSmart will raise your rates quite steeply once youve moved in. Between November 2017 and December 2018 they put up my rates by 39%, which is what prompted my decision to move out.

My roommate and I were leaving for the summer and had to store our stuff. I had used a different Cubesmart previously, but the amount of things we had this time around called for an upgrade. The Stoneham location turned out to be ideal, and with Hollys help, we were up and running within 15 minutes and managed to get our whole move done by noon. Great location and better people!
