The Establishment lost a star from me 9/4 @7am. The pump I pulled up to was not accepting credit cards (not uncommon here) which is a huge inconvenience to people that dont want to communicate with the staff. Didnt bother going to another pump, usually when I do I still have to go inside. Attendant wasnt very pleased when I requested to drop off my credit card and then return once I was done at the pump (something Ive done here multiple times before). They were also annoyed that I wasnt Johnny on the spot with the credit card machine. She didnt seem happy to be there. No apologies for the pump malfunction. Bummer the first person you come in contact with at the start of the day tries to pull you down to their level. I feel bad for the management and coworkers that work with them. The 10¢ off a gallon makes it tolerable I guess. Nickles worth of free advice; professionalism, patience, and a “people-first” attitude. Good luck.P.s Dont forget the generic auto response.....

None of the pumps were working and had a message to pay inside. I went in and was immediately met with the cashier telling me to put a mask on. I politely declined and said that I needed gas on pump 9. All she did was stare at me for a while even though I had my card out waiting to pay. I asked her if she was going to discriminate against me and the she proceeded to be rude and finally ring up my order. Such an anti American establishment and will always take my business else where in the future.

Horrible attitude of cashier, air machine not working, nobody helping. This is not my normal store and surely wont come back

The store was very clean, well stocked and the woman working has excellent customer service. The coffee bar was fully stocked on everything and it was showroom quality

Very clean store. The associates are very friendly and always willing to help. Everything is neatly organized. Shelves are stocked. The counters by the fountain area are super clean. All cups, lids and straws are more than adequately accessible.

Staff usually always friendly. 90% of the time store is kept clean. Beware of expiration date on food products, check before you buy

Thorntons is always a pleasant experience. It is a very clean and well kept environment. The staff is extremely hospitable. I knew what a day I was facing and was grateful for the variety of coffee I could purchase from Thorntons to help me jump start the day.

Love that you can go in here & get any size coffee (or soft drink) for $0.99. So many things to add to your coffee! Who needs Starbucks! Staff is amazingly friendly!!!

Nice place. New construction Sometimes if you buy a wash the code wont print and you have to go inside. Maybe its a glitch. If you forget about it, youre out of $$

I would be inclined to rate Thorntons higher until recently. Their prices were among the lowest and they had a great customer loyalty program. Unfortunately the prices are trending less of a value, and that customer loyalty program is getting downright miserly. Plus, I never received a gas card I supposedly won in a raffle for participating in their survey. Oops! Thorntons was once consistently very good, but lately they appear to be listing.

Not really open 24/7. Late night they lock the doors so you better know what you want. The over night guys nothing about inventory to be able to sell you anything. What a waste of time stopping

I love Thorntons!! This one is in streamwood. Their gas is competitive with everyone elses. I have a rewards card that works very well at this station. Clerks are nice and helpful.

1st time using my rewards, went in to ask question, young man did not know how to answer question so he asked the white lady, 1st she did not make eye contact with me 2nd she said I was probably doing something wrong. I wanted to use .6 cent discount instead of .3 cent discount. Went back to my car and left, I dont need to give rude people my $$.

There was a long line, but the cashier took care of everyone quickly, even took the time to set me up with a rewards card.

I stop here daily, gas and snacks for my day at work. Most of the employees are super friendly but there is one lady who works mornings who just comes across like shes always in a bad mood. When she is friendly it seems forced, maybe shes unhappy with her job or just always having a bad day but it surely shows loud and clear.

My go to Gas Station. Got awesome snacks and usually the cheapest gas in the area. Make sure to sign up for their Rewards Program its incredibly useful and saves you a bit of money

What can I say... its a gas station.... very nice people . The selection is fairly decent if your a fan of the quick bite for lunch and the staff is pretty nice, American, no strange smells. They get to know people by name, expecially the pretty young ladys. But then who wouldnt. All over all not bad and fairly cheap gas. This is ur place if u need a daily pre work or lunch stop.

Ive been going to this gas station for years. Usually several times after week due to my line of work. But I noticed the past two times that I have had a 100 dollar bill they told me that they are not able to break them. I find that very strange for you not to be able to have at least sixty bucks for change in your register. When Im there I see numerous of Caucasian customers using cash with 100 bills and they actually breaking them. Here I am an African-American customer there is a issue with breaking my large bill. I will boycott this location I will not be a customer any longer!!

One associate has bad people skills. The Place is mostly dirty at night, shelves arent filled. All tell tail signs of a lot of traffic.
