I have used Uhaul many times, but this location has been the worst experience I have ever had!! I used the check in tool on the app, they approved me in about 3 minutes and found the truck with ease, but there was no key, so I headed to the office and the Jake had a line that went all the way around the steps, once I was able to speak with him, he couldn’t find the key to the truck, once he figured out that he gave my assigned truck to another person he gave me another truck, I wasn’t able to enter the mileage to the new truck because the app still had me assigned to the other truck, so i just snap a picture and headed on my way, around 4 pm the other person turned in the truck I was supposed to have they charged me his usage, I had to call and let them know that I had another truck, they couldn’t even fix the mistake Jake never corrected in the first place, now I’m here waiting again to check out and I’m hold for the past 20 minutes because I can’t check out because the mileage will not be excepted. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had.

Have had a great experience working with the crew here over the last year and a half. Initially rented a unit for what I thought would be a few months, but covid changed my plans and ended up staying a year and a half. The staff has always been helpful and friendly, some of the rude comments you see on here are most likely from people who lack a sense of humor.The customer service is absolutely fantastic. From me breaking my key off in my lock when it was -7 degrees, to them setting up a lot of stuff over the phone, I could not have asked for a better experience. I actually called this location for questions about my trailer rental because the Uhaul corporate number had me on hold forever, these guys got me an answer quickly.10000% would happily be a customer again. Thanks guys.

One of the few U-Hauls where they treat you like at the origin/beginning of civilized customer service.Impeccable vehicles and a very, very kool dude behind the counter with manners, appreciation and an amazing story of life to tell. Highly recommend.

They cut my additional lock of that cost me $30 without checking with us. Be sure to not put a personal lock on their storage units or they will cut it off.

The worse customer service ever, Kevin was so rude and not helpful. We waited for over 1 hour because the link he sent to dispute was not working he refused to help me and said he couldn’t help me.I couldn’t leave with a damage truck yet I couldn’t dispute it.Don’t ever use this location. Kevin was soo rude!!!!!!!He yelled at me as if I was his wife.If I could give him no stars I would.

The manager in this facility is completely rude and knows nothing of customer service. Do not spend your money here. Also you are unable to enter the business from the main road without making a dangerous u-turn. I would give zero stars if possible.

Rented twice from here, once a car trailer second time a enclosed trailer. First time around they blew a fuse in the truck, second time around they hooked it up and instantly blamed my truck for faulty wiring because the right twilight was dim. Went to start the truck and it wasn’t starting in fact it kept throwing codes maf sensor, fuel pump etc. keep in mind it’s a two year old truck with only 50k miles, they kept blaming the trucks wiring and so forth. It’s funny because about a month ago I rented two more trailers at a Different location and it was 100 percent fine and it was even some young teenage girl installing it. Not sure what their maintenance is like but I won’t bring my truck back not to mention this place is extremely shady looking and including their employees even for streamwoods reputation

Rented a truck today. The actual transaction was ok and went smoothly. However, I was not impressed with the all male staff and their harassing (in the form of a joke that wouldn’t die) comments about a woman driving a truck. I have rented trucks before and have never seen such unprofessional behavior.

The personnel were friendly and professional. The cargo van I rented was new. I would recommend this location.

This is a first and the last time I am using this location! Kevin was not helpful at all. I was supposed to be checked out within 15 minutes but I spent an hour to get to the truck... When I was driving back I noticed that my breaks are almost dead and shortly after break fluid light pop up! When I opened the hood there was ZERO break fluid! I filled it up with one bottle at the gas station, but when checked the level when I was returning the truck after hours it was empty again! How the hell are you not checking your trucks before renting them to the people?? This could end up badly!

Had such a great experience. Thank you Rafael for making this an easy move.I used the online portal to upload documents and basically walked in and picked my truck up, it could not have been easier. Dont let negative reviews cloud your judgment, give this place the opportunity to earn your trust and your business.

Got uhaul at short notice, great service,extra insurance almost as much as rental but better safe than sorry.

From start to finish, not great. Calling Uhaul to schedule pick up, female customer service was cold and Rude! Almost hung up on her. Showed up onsite to pick up trailer and no one in front office. Drive around to the last isle and found Gerry. He greeted me with, Didnt you see the two-way radio on the desk in the office?. Condescending tone throughout the whole process. Trailer was good and all lights functional. Only good thing about process was an inanimate object, the trailer.

Returned a trailer rental here. Super nice guys. Refunded me for an extra set of blankets which I hadn’t received.

Rented trailers from here a few times. Always hectic and unorganized. Today I was in to drop off a trailer and asked about hitch installs. Jerry helped and set up an appointment at another uhaul location for later in the day. I get to the other uhaul location and they have the appointment down for next month, not today. Neither location could explain what happened. Needless to say I was frustrated to have driven over an hour to be turned away after I set the appointment up in person. Waste of time.

They just need a bigger driveway, lol. Great service. Will use again

Absolutely Horrible experience. Their self check in check out doesnt work, so I had to go in to get the key. The employee working was getting inches away from me and even tried touching my phone. If you are concerned about catching Covid19 stay away from this place.As well self check in wouldnt work after trying for about an hour, so I was forced to pay an additional $20. I feel scammed and certainly wont be doing business with any Uhauls ever again

Needed to arrive at the space before closing and I only had 30 minutes left to get there even though they were closing in 15 minutes. I had called the store twice and asked UHaul corporate to contact the store in order to ask if I could come in after-hours. Much to my surprise, I received a call 10 minutes after the office was closed as Jerry allowed me to come in, fill out the paperwork, and get access to my unit...after the office was already closed! I was completely relieved as I would have no other area to place my items if it wasnt for Jerry allowing me to come in...and he needed to be back there the next day at 6 AM!! Great customer service and Im glad I chose this location to store my items. Definitely recommend!

Horrible place, horrible service!!! They never heard about customer service!!! This guy Gerard Majewski was not professional at all, bad attitude, don’t know what he’s doing, first day said one thing, next day different! When we asked for manager to talk with he said there’s no one, never gave me any phone number and name to contact with! Don’t make mistake and don’t go there! I don’t recommend this place at all!!! Worst experience ever!

Danielle is very professional at what she does. My wife and I stopped at that location to look at some storage units and the way she was treating us at the time of service was outstanding!!! I hope the company keeps her around. Very good job Danielle looking forward to talking to you soon again.

Danielle is a very helpful person. She showed us every storage unit that we were interested in and gave us the storage unit most suitable to my needs.

Very polite and helpfull. They didnt have trailer i was looking for to rent. They made a few phone calls and found me location I could go to and get that trailer.

Horrible. After being on the phone for 3 minutes with the guy who runs the place I had to end my phone call and take my business to another location. No customer service skills at all. Dont give this guy any of your hard earned money. You deserve better.
