Actually had my product on the Shelf in stock, drove all day yesterday and could not find the item anywhere else. Over a hundred miles driven yesterday and it was here on their shelf in Streator. Very surprised!

Name keeps changing, but still same good merchandise

They are starting to get the shelves stocked up, I need more variety of clothes.

Ill miss this place once its closed. It was always clean, with spacious aisles. Even though the prices were a bit higher than some other stores here, it was nice to have an alternative shopping spot.

A great selection of merchandise coupled with the very helpful staff makes this a place Ill definitely shop at again!! I ordered a pair of slip-resistance boots for work at a great price.

This place is a joke. No inventory and incompetent help. I wish Big R would have kept these stores. I will do my best to go elsewhere.

Too bad its closing, is a good place for tools and farm stuff. Hate to see it go.

Love Big R. They are a great place to get all sorts of stuff from food to farm supplies. To the woman who posted about trying to purchase ammunition from being out of state. It is an Illinois law that stops ammunition suppliers from selling ammunition to people who do not have an Illinois FOID card.

Its fine, I havent a lot of experience there, but I will say its a shame Streator is losing this store. Hoping something else takes its place though that benefits the town.

Always a good stop,grate snacks, good project ideas,grate all whether clothing, and wonderful hard whair selections, not to menchin pet saplys. Thank you for your location, and werkibol hours.

Twice recently Ive needed price corrections and they have graciously checked out what I told them. The first time the shelf price was much lower and they gave me the product for the reduced amount. The second time I had actually gotten out to my car before I realized it and went back it. They were very accommodating.

Everything was over priced & their having a going out of business sale!!! Really a waste of time.

Every time i go in there. There is like no employees maybe 2 in the whole store. You spend all ur time trying to find someone to help you. What a joke. And one person working the check out. Very slow at that.

Shelves were pretty bare. Wasnt able to find what I wanted. I like the store brand of kitty litter, all they had were big bags. Was hoping to get a jug

Good prices, and friendly service

Service here is fantastic, all the employees will always stop what theyre doing to ask if you need anything. Lines at the registers are never long and the wait it never bad. There is a great selection of anything you could be looking for. They often have great sales on everything in the store and you can get quality products for very decent prices.

Its a cool store if you like this kinda stuff .

Cant find what you want any more their inventory is sad

Id put this place down to average of it would let me. Went in there tonight and the workers dont know too much about their place of work. I was trying to buy something and they said it says there is 4 Im stock. Then they cant find what I want. Nothing markedI had to pay more than wanted to because they dont know how to stock and find. Not the first place I will go next time.y time is no joke.

It is refreshing to have friendly knowledgeable employees at a great retailer. They actually remember your name and help you extensively with product selection and purchases. If you like having a great customer experience and good quality products, go to this BigR or one close to your home.

Just left Streator Store. Very disappointed. My wife was looking at a rack of sweatshirts with a sign stating 40% off price. Not a sweatshirt was marked. I guess 40% off zero is still zero. I was in mens department and found a table of Gildan mens pocket tee shirts. No sign with price and shirts were not priced. Also found Wrangler shorts on a rack, no price sign and shorts were not marked. When we asked at cash register we were told new DM doesnt want white price tags on merchandise. I dont understand how you can sell something without the customer knowing how much the item is. In my opinion they better figure it out or quit trying to sell cloths.No one in mens or womens department to ask a price.

Its just like Big R. Big selection of farm and hunting gear as well as clothing, pet supply etc. Most of the staff seems to be teenagers just trying to get a check, expect them to maintain conversations amongst themselves the entire time you shop as well as during the checkout process.

So much to choose from. Good prices

If they are able to keep their prices low as they are now, they should put a hurt on farm n fleet.

Great for working on farm equipment or other heavy machinery in the country or when you need that random thing from the hardware store you dont feel like driving 30 minutes to the nearest Menards or home Depot.

Had a hard time shopping from employees bothering me had 3 different employees disturbing me 3 different times with can I help you find something while I was walking around to look at things.The 1st time one gal was walking past the aisle I was in and commented if I needed help in finding anything, my reply no. She realy wasnt near me just walking past the aisle. She had to yell it out. That was in the pet section.I kept looking around and picked up 2 gallons of water and put them in the cart a short distance later I found garden hoses $5 off, picked up one and put it in the cart walked down an aisle turned to walk down the crossing aisle. Up behind me I hear some one else can I help you find something. My reply again is no. This person again wasnt really near me, and some what yelling out to me. I continue to do my looking and shopping not really looking for anything special just shopping. No list but had a few things in mind. Get up by the register area trying to cross over to go look at the heat warmer sock. Here comes another gal walking right up to me face to face. Can I help you find anything. What is this I cant even shop in peace with out having to tell every employee who sees me NO I dont need or want their help I just want to look. From there I walked out and didnt buy anything. Left the garden hose and 2 bottles of water in the cart right there in front of the gal.$22 of merchandise and I was planning on buying socks too.Plus 6 bags of top soil @ $1.69 a bag. That I had looked at before I came in the store.$20 garden hose on sale$2 bottles of water$15 for heat warmer socks$10 approx for dirt.$47 that I was going to purchase at your store that I will get some place else. I dont live in Streator Im only in your town once a week. Not sure I want to shop at your store for a long time or ever. When I am constantly asked if I can be helped and dont have time to just shop I felt uncomfortable and left. Menards in Yorkville use to do it when I would shop there, I dont shop there anymore. Now I will just drive right past your store like its not there. Thought I would enjoy shopping there.

Always have a good selection but prices are a little high on some things

If you are an out of state resident trying to buy ammo and they tell you they can’t use your state issued ID or drivers license and only a foid card they are wrong. I was informed yesterday that my state issue ID from out of state was not acceptable due to “company policy” and I had to have a foid (which I cannot obtain because I am not an Illinois resident). So, I called their company customer service line today to find out they could have sold me the ammo I needed with my state issued drivers license. Hopefully you guys get this fixed since I was told I wasn’t the first person to get denied service for being an out of state resident.
